Chrysler assembled the first three generations of the model line in its Saint Louis Assembly facility (Fenton, Missouri). The fourth and fifth-generation Town & Country were produced by Chrysler Canada by Windsor Assembly (Windsor, Ontario).

Hi there! I just wanted to let you know that I still own this vehicle and it has been a great ride so far. With its 6 cyl. engine, the mileage is pretty decent. I did have to have the transmission rebuilt about 4 years ago, but it has been running smoothly ever since. Unfortunately, the exterior coating/paint on the hood, bumper, and mirrors has started to peel, but everything else on this vehicle has held up really well.

The high speed sensor went bad at 94,000 miles. The original tires were replaced at 85,000 with Goodyear Assurance Triple Tread. It's great to hear that the vehicle has been excellent!

I didn't think I would like owning a van, but now I don't ever want to go back (as long as we have kids). I love all of the seating options. On road trips, it's nice to put one of the second seats down for the ability to put a large cooler and toys for the kids in easy reach. The entertainment package is great for road trips or just a quick trip to the grocery store. It's a very comfortable ride.

We bought a 2012 T&C six months ago and have driven about 5,000 miles since. I've been reading car blogs for a while now and I can't help but wonder: why isn't anyone talking about this amazing van? It's hands down the most feature-packed van out there. Even our mid-level model (which we got for the same price as the base model's MSRP) has leather seats, dual DVD players, power doors and liftgate, Bluetooth, navigation, Sirius XM, and three-zone climate control. It's just unbelievable how much you get for your money. When we went to the Honda dealership first, we told the salesperson about the features and price of the Chrysler van. He tried to sell us on the Honda for about 15 minutes before admitting defeat. He was right though, the Chrysler is definitely the way to go.

The 1994 Van has a great design, but it has had some issues with quality. While the engine required rebuilding at 10,000 miles (under warranty), the brakes, electrical system, and computer needed to be replaced at 40,000 miles. Additionally, the transmission is beginning to show signs of wear (only 45,000 miles at present). Starting the car when it has sat for 20 minutes to 2 hours can be a bit difficult. Unfortunately, the last problem remains undiagnosed.

I found the T&C to be a comfortable ride, but unfortunately, I experienced some issues with it. Both automatic doors broke, and the front struts needed to be replaced twice. Additionally, the brake rotors required replacement before 15,000 miles, and one of the factory tires had a broken band at 10k miles. I also found the aluminum wheels to be difficult to clean. Although the alternator had to be replaced, I still appreciate the T&C. I purchased it as my first new car, hoping to avoid problems for years, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Interestingly, my 13-year-old Volvo has not had any problems, but I understand that every car is different.

I purchased this van with the intention of using it for skiing and camping trips. The AWD setup is reliable and I have taken it up to the mountains and down to job sites without any issues. The van is equipped with power options and leather seats, making it comfortable for long journeys. When my friends and family get inside, they always express their excitement and admiration. Additionally, I find it useful for trips to HomeDepot as it can carry large items such as sofas and tables with ease. Overall, I believe that the Town and Country is a great investment and would highly recommend it over the Dodge van.

Our Town & Country has had multiple issues, including problems with the transmission, air conditioning, and broken axle pins (twice), as well as smaller, less costly repairs. However, I can confidently say that I do not recommend this van to anyone. Despite owning it for six years, it has been a constant source of frustration and inconvenience.

I purchased this highly rated van in 1998 and have found it to be incredibly comfortable and a great performer both on the highway and in the city. While wind noise can be a bit distracting at higher speeds, the removable 3rd row seat (although heavy to handle) and the removable 2nd row captains chairs make the already roomy rear even better than a pickup truck. We've been able to handle many large loads, including plywood and sheetrock, with ease and without having to worry about the weather. Unfortunately, Chrysler's reliability has been a major issue for us. We had to replace a broken transmission just 3,000 miles after the warranty expired and our experience with dealership support after the sale was poor. We've also had to deal with too many expensive repair issues.
