I've had it for 10 years and have only needed a new horn because of a cheap, faulty fuse I put in. It's still running like brand new at over 203,000 miles!

This minivan was a great performer. It had a sporty yet luxurious ride, handled nimbly, and the powerful 3.8L V6 was very quick in acceleration. While the gas mileage can be low with cheap gas, overall it is a great van to own.

This van is absolutely amazing compared to the Ford Windstar I used to have. I purchased it brand new and it now has over 200,000 miles on it. I tried driving the Ford Windstar and then the Honda Odyssey, but I couldn't stand the lack of power those vans had. I plan on keeping my Town & Country for as long as possible. Even with 200,000 miles on it, it is still running strong with the original engine and transmission.

This is a fantastic vehicle to have! It's incredibly reliable and easy to fix, not to mention very well-built and comfortable. The only downside is that the gas mileage isn't great, at 16.5 mpg city/20 mpg highway. But all in all, it's a wonderful minivan to own!

We purchased our van in 1997 with only 40,000 miles on it, relying on Consumer Reports' assessment that transmission issues only affected the 1992-1994 Town & Country models. Unfortunately, our van now has 111,000 miles and we are considering a second overhaul or a remanufactured transmission. After discussing with other Chrysler owners and our local mechanic, it seems that Chrysler cannot produce a reliable transmission. In my opinion, it would be wise to consider purchasing a Honda or Toyota instead. Additionally, we have had to replace the rear AC/heat system twice in the last 5 years due to it not being protected from road salt, which causes it to rust quickly. I bought my Town and Country used from a person who used it to commute a lot. It's a very comfortable car, but we have had to spend quite a bit of money on the fuel system. Unfortunately, the fuel filter and fuel pump both needed to be replaced, and it tends to sputter in the rain. The rear A/C heater core also broke, but thankfully it wasn't too critical. It's possible that the car had a lot of use before I bought it. Despite these issues, I'm currently considering purchasing a newer model.

When we bought the car, it had 89,000 miles on it. It was meant to replace our old Ford Aerostar, which had 249,000 miles on it and still ran well with minimal maintenance. Unfortunately, we did experience some issues with the car, such as the fuel filter immediately quitting in hot weather, which we later found out was a common problem. Additionally, the ABS unit went out the following year, and we discovered that they only used this particular model for 2 years. We had to search for a usable one from a wrecking yard, which took 4 weeks and cost $2,700 for a new one. Currently, the transmission is going out due to a pin falling out and cracking the case. However, it does get pretty good fuel economy, ranging from 21-27 mpg. Despite the issues we've had, we appreciate the car's fuel efficiency.
