Chrysler assembled the first three generations of the model line in its Saint Louis Assembly facility (Fenton, Missouri). The fourth and fifth-generation Town & Country were produced by Chrysler Canada by Windsor Assembly (Windsor, Ontario).

This van is fantastic for both my wife and me to travel in, even with our four kids. The DVD player and wireless headsets are a lifesaver, making it feel like the kids aren't even with us. It handles very well, has great acceleration, and gets about 23.5 miles to the gallon on the highway even when fully loaded with luggage for six. We really appreciate all of the features. My wife especially loves the GPS system, which has eliminated any arguments about directions. We're eagerly anticipating the release of the new vehicle with the fold-a-way rear seats.

I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying your new minivan! It sounds like it's a huge improvement from your previous Ford Expedition. Not only is it much quieter, but it also gets much better gas mileage - up to 28 miles per gallon on the highway and 17 miles per gallon in the city! Plus, it's great that it came with so many amazing features like wireless headphones, power sliding doors, and a power lift gate. I hope you continue to have a wonderful experience with your new minivan!

I've owned two Chrysler vans before switching to the Honda Odyssey. Unfortunately, after two years with the Honda, I experienced numerous major problems, which I never had with my Chryslers. I did consider the new Toyota Sienna and Nissan Quest, but the Toyota is not aesthetically pleasing, and the Nissan is too unconventional for my taste, not to mention both are too expensive without any rebates. Only the Chrysler appealed to me, and I'm glad I switched back.

I love my Town and Country! After turning in my Honda Odyssey lease, which was in the shop for most of the two years I owned it, I discovered that Edmunds.com must be somehow getting paid by Honda to write good reviews of their products. However, I don't have any of the problems associated with Hondas. I have no squeaks, rattles, warping brakes, or shifting problems like in the Odyssey. I think I will keep it after my lease is up. It's the BEST!

I find that most everything about this vehicle is above average with one exception. Unfortunately, the front door panels are poorly designed. The protrusion into the left leg of the driver is unacceptable, and the right side is just as bad. My family has driven Lincolns and Chev pickups for years, and after much thought and research, we decided on the Chrysler minivan. However, it was a big mistake, and we will be going back to Lincoln next time.
