- Components: AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:DRIVER SIDE:INFLATOR MODULE
- Summary: Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2008-2010 Chrysler Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan and 2007-2011 Dodge Nitro vehicles. These vehicles may have a loose or missing brand emblem in the center of the steering wheel. The loose emblem or the securing nuts for the emblem within the driver air bag module may become projectiles in the event of a driver air bag deployment.
- Consequence: Projectiles as a result of driver air bag deployment in the event of a crash can increase the risk of injury.
- Remedy: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the driver's air bag cover with a redesigned cover, free of charge. The recall began February 11, 2021. Owners may contact FCA US LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is W09.

- Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION:SWITCH
- Summary: This defect can affect the safe operation of the airbag system. Until this recall is performed, customers should remove all items from their key rings, leaving only the ignition key. The key fob (if applicable), should also be removed from the key ring. Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) is recalling certain model year 2009-2010 Dodge Journey vehicles manufactured June 29, 2007, to June 17, 2010, and 2008-2010 Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town and Country vehicles manufactured January 26, 2007, to June 17, 2010. Road conditions or some other jarring event may cause the ignition switch to move out of the run position, turning off the engine.
- Consequence: If the ignition key inadvertently moves into the OFF or ACCESSORY position, the engine will turn off, which will then depower various key safety systems including but not limited to air bags, power steering, and power braking. Loss of functionality of these systems may increase the risk of crash and/or increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
- Remedy: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the ignition switch and key FOBs, free of charge. The recall began on May 26, 2015. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is R03. Note: This is an expansion of recall 11V-139.

- Summary: Freedom Motors Inc., (Freedom Motors) of Savaria Vehicle Group (formerly The Liberty Motor Company) is recalling one model year 2009 Volkswagen Routan and certain model year 2008-2010 Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country wheelchair accessible vehicles modified by The Liberty Motor Company from February 2008 through January 2011. Over time and with use, the vehicle's rear axle may develop cracks which could lead to axle failure.
- Consequence: Failure of the rear axle may increase the risk of a crash.

We acquired this van in 2016. Initially, we were given a 2008 grand marquis from my grandfather that my mother didn't like. Fortunately, a local dealer was having trouble selling this van, which had only one previous owner who had taken great care of it despite the high mileage from work-related travel. When we got it, it had about 160k miles in 2016. We did a straight swap of vehicles, and the dealer even included new tires because our tires were new. Soon after, my mom took a road trip and we've been driving it for four years now, putting on about 100k miles. We've had very few issues with it, and it's been extremely dependable. Recently, we've been using it for double trips to take my brother to work and pick him up, as well as for my mom's doctor appointments. We've kept up with regular maintenance, and just replaced all 4 struts/shocks. Although we lost one of the keys and need to replace it, we're excited to turn on the Bluetooth feature on the radio. We also have a small oil leak that will be fixed. The check engine light recently turned on, but we got it checked and fixed it right up with a tune-up that included new plugs, cables, and coil. Although it's possible to do the tune-up yourself with a few cheap tools and a YouTube video, I was working a lot and it was too cold and dark to do it myself. We love how much room is available with the seats folded down, and the hidden storage with the seats out is a great feature. The van looks like it has a lot of upgrades, including the nicer center storage with several sliding trays between the front seats. It's perfect for my mom, who uses a foldable walker and is on oxygen. We're grateful for this van and all the memories we've made in it.We haven't used the entertainment systems much, but it's interesting to have plugs and an inverter to connect AC items and hook up a gaming system to play on trips. With the seats folded, there's plenty of room to lay down an inflatable mattress to sleep. I've heard of some people taking all the seats out for even more room and storage while traveling. There are also lots of cup holders and other convenient features available.

I just purchased the Town and Country Ltd with almost every option and I absolutely love it! Although I was considering the Waler P edition, I ultimately went with the Limited because I received a great deal on it. The dealership offered a fantastic price, but the salespeople at Marino in Chicago lacked knowledge about the van's options. Additionally, the dealership was too cheap to fill up the tank. The 4-liter engine is powerful yet quiet, and the ride is smooth with great handling. I am very pleased with our first van, especially the swivel and go seats and the built-in child seats. The safety options are also a nice feature for my wife. I particularly love the high beam auto sensor and wiper blade sensors, and the leather seats are top-notch. All the little details are great, and I would highly recommend this van.

Just wanted to follow up on my review from April 2010. After driving 9,000 miles, including a 3,500 mile trip through the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and various national parks in Utah, we are still absolutely thrilled with our T&C Limited. We were able to get over 28 mpg on three tanks during our trip, and overall we got over 25 mpg. The van is very comfortable and quiet. By the way, for any original owners out there, you can get a free set of user manuals with just one phone call to Chrysler.

Just purchased this van and I love it so far! I traded in a 2007 Odyssey that, in my opinion, was very overrated. This van has a nicer look, rides smoother, and has everything we need. The price was great, so I can see us keeping this van for a while.

Great minivan! Although we've had some issues with squeaking and rattling in the electrical side doors. Unfortunately, we've had to take it to the Chrysler shop about 6-8 times for the doors since we bought it in May of 2010. It can be quite frustrating, but we're hopeful that the Chrysler rep will be able to help us out. Overall, we still love the van!

We purchased this car in the summer of 2010. Unfortunately, after a year, we began experiencing some issues such as transmission jerking, noisy sliding doors, vibration problems, and front rotors and brakes needing replacement at only 18k miles. The worst issue was the electrical system shutting off while driving. Despite reporting these problems to the dealership, we were left without a loaner car while they checked it out. When they finally called to say the car was ready, they claimed they could not duplicate the problem. Although frustrating, we remained patient and continued to work with the dealership to resolve the issues.

I recently purchased a 2010 town and country, hoping that it would be an improvement over my previous 2008 model which had electrical problems. Unfortunately, I have already had to take it to the shop twice within a month of purchasing it and it is still not ready. The first time I had an issue was at 900 miles when the car wouldn't move after stopping at a light. I had to call a tow truck to get it to the shop. The second time this happened was only 4 days later and I was told it was due to a solenoid problem. I am disappointed with my experience so far and hope that Chrysler can improve their service. This vehicle was poorly constructed, with numerous issues arising even before reaching 10,000 miles. The brakes and transmission failed, rust was pervasive, and the power sliding doors were unreliable. Overall, it is clear that this vehicle was built with subpar materials and workmanship.

The water from the air conditioner condensate drain entered the interior of my Chrysler van, causing $1200 worth of damage to the carpeted floor due to a worker's error during installation. Although the van was slightly out of warranty, Chrysler is covering $800 of the repair cost. While the stow n go seating is convenient, it is important to note that the build quality could be improved.
