Chrysler assembled the first three generations of the model line in its Saint Louis Assembly facility (Fenton, Missouri). The fourth and fifth-generation Town & Country were produced by Chrysler Canada by Windsor Assembly (Windsor, Ontario).

Hi there! I hope you're doing well. I understand that you're looking to improve your vehicle's mileage, but it's important to keep in mind that it's a people hauler. I wanted to share my experience with a similar vehicle - we owned a Town & Country before and it lasted us up to 150k miles with only a few minor repairs. However, with our current vehicle, we've noticed that it's using a bit more oil than we expected. After doing some research, it seems that this is a common issue with the 3.8 motor, which is a shame because the 3.3 motor was more reliable in this regard. Just something to keep in mind - you may need to add a quart of oil every 2 or 3k miles after hitting 44k. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns!

I bought this van used with only 18k miles on it. Although it is basic with few bells and whistles, the fuel mileage is great! On a long trip of nearly 800 miles, with three adults and two children in it, I averaged as high as 29.7 on the interstate! (Although headwind and hill changes can quickly affect this.) But there is no problem averaging 22.7 all around combined mileage. I am very pleased with the fuel efficiency given the high price of gas. The interior is basic, and the mid-row seats are kind of small with not a lot of room between the 2nd and 3rd row, but we were used to a full-size conversion and it is a 'mini-van.' Overall, I am pleased with our purchase and would highly recommend it as an economical option for anyone with small children.

I hope you're doing well! I wanted to share my experience with my van. It's been with me for a while now and I'm happy to say that it's still running strong with 198,046 miles on it! I've taken good care of it and dealt with any issues as soon as they arise. Of course, regular maintenance is important and I've had to replace the brakes a few times, especially the front ones. But overall, I'm very satisfied with my well-engineered vehicle. I did have a bit of a setback when one of the kids ran the engine low on water and it overheated, but I was able to replace both heads and the radiator and it's been running smoothly since then. I'm confident that with continued routine maintenance, I'll be able to get another 100,000 miles out of it!

You've made a great choice with this minivan! We've had very few issues with it, and we haven't needed any major repairs yet. I'm just now at 58,000 miles and considering a brake job. It's a joy to drive with plenty of pickup, and it has a shorter turning radius than our old Jeep Cherokee. The electric side sliders and rear door have been a fantastic feature, especially when we let our dog out to run alongside us in remote areas.

Nice ride! It's a little floaty, but overall, it's really nice. The dash is very nice, and the night lighting is good. The seats are comfortable, and the Stow and Go feature is a dream. I don't understand why everyone has a problem with the power, because there is definitely enough here. If I need more power, then I'm probably in the wrong place doing something I shouldn't be doing. The engine is very smooth, so I don't see any need for the DOHC. Overall, I think it's well worth the money!

As someone who drives a lot, I have had the opportunity to observe both the positive and negative aspects of various vehicles. Although this is my second minivan, it is my first Chrysler. Unfortunately, I have noticed a few areas where this vehicle falls short. For example, there are no assist bars to aid in getting in and out of the vehicle, and the layout of the radio and heat controls is poor. Additionally, the window controls are not well-positioned, as they are very close to the manual door lock. The seat is adequate, but the area behind the neck is quite uncomfortable. The tires have tread, but the traction is terrible, and the vehicle feels loose on the road. The radio reception is poor, and the vehicle often feels like it may stall, making acceleration difficult. There are also some blind spots that can be problematic. The layout of the window defrost causes air to blow directly into your eyes, and the uneven dashboard near the defrost vents and speakers creates bad reflections in the sun. Overall, I believe that these issues could potentially cause problems, particularly on the right side of the vehicle.

We leased this vehicle back in February 2007 and have just mailed Chrysler the check to purchase it. My wife is the principal driver and she absolutely loves it. In fact, she wouldn't even consider getting a new vehicle when the lease is up. We went to two dealerships to look at new vehicles, but she walked out because she has her heart set on keeping this one. We haven't had any problems with it at all. The only maintenance we've done in two years of use is regular oil changes every 3,000 miles and replacing the front and rear brakes. The van is loaded with every option available in the Signature Series and is extremely practical. The only downside is that it's a mini van.

Consider avoiding this vehicle. At 91,000 miles, the air conditioning has broken three times and is now inoperable. The engine emits concerning noises and the ABS light illuminates without cause. Additionally, the vehicle experiences excessive brake wear and exhibits rust throughout. While there are more issues to list, it is clear that this vehicle is not a reliable option.

This vehicle was purchased with just over 17k miles and unfortunately, it has been a hassle to identify the issues with it. It seems that in order to address the whining, hesitation, and lack of power when starting off, several parts need to be replaced. Despite our research, we have not been able to find a solution. With all the accolades surrounding the Chrysler mini-van, I was expecting a good vehicle. However, I found that this vehicle seems to be a work in progress. The cruise control didn't seem to be able to control the speed, and the radio was weak in picking up stations. Additionally, I found the overhead controls for fuel mileage, etc, to be confusing.
