Summary: Recall R22A1 has not been repaired by the dealership. Riverside Nissan in Rome, GA held the truck for twelve (12) weeks and was unable to repair the truck. They claim the part is not available. Another repair was subsequently requested at Town Center Nissan in Kennesaw, GA. They initially reported they could get the part within two weeks but now state the part is backordered and unavailable. Vehicle is undrivable without repair.

Summary: The contact owns a 2022 Nissan Frontier. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the driver’s seat independently moved backward and slightly tilted. The vehicle had been taken to the dealer where the contact was informed that there was a failure of the feature to adjust the seat to assist while an occupant was exiting the vehicle had operated erroneously. The dealer informed the contact that there was no way to turn off the feature and to disconnect the electrical wiring harness attached to the seat to prevent the failure. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had been made aware of the failure via email; however, the contact had not received a response. The failure mileage was 34,000.

Summary: We have had multiple occasions when the dashboard read as "System Fault"with multiple warning/indicator lights. 12/12/23, while backing out of a parking space at low speed. 9/12/2024 while at a Red Light, and lightly letting off the brake. 9/13/24 while driving 65 mph . An appt was requested at the dealership of purchase for 9/17/24. An email notification was also received from the truck stating that the ABS System may be malfunctioning. When the alert warning/indicator lights appear, the alert states on the dashboard "Warning" "System Fault" "See Owners Manual" . The system generated email states "Your vehicle's antilock braking system may require service". We only received one notification from the vehicle related to the 9/12/24 alert.On 9/19/24 the dealership could not replicate or find a code related to the ABS System Fault and we were encouraged to bring the vehicle back if it happened again so they could run the code.The dealership would take the vehicle for a longer drive on 9/20/24 to try to replicate the issue. At this point, we filed a complaint with the manufacturer, and have not heard directly from the dealership if they have been able to replicate the warning. The concern for safety is that since the vehicle alerting that the ABS system may be require attention, there may be other electrical issues with the vehicle, along with braking issue concern. There was one occasion on 1/21/2024 with a system error message stating "warning when Parked apply parking brake" the vehicle had just been turned on and put in reverse. There is a large safety concern as this vehicle has had other safety issues including a half latch (where the doors would not open from inside or outside, requiring exiting through alternate door, a parking pawl recall, and transmission issues that we've brought forward in our formal complaint to the manufacturer. Including "Tow" alarm notifications to strengthen the safety concern of electrical issues with this vehicle.

I went to 3 shops, and all said that the TCM are going bad, especially Infinity. Nissan wants to charge $500 just to try to reset it. The Dealership is the only ones that can perform this task.

Summary: Air bag light began blinking. I brought it to a nissan dealer for service and that have replaced and charged me for multiple parts in excess of $2,000.00. They stated my car was ready and repaired. Upon picking up my car the light was still blinking. They stated it's additional parts and cost to finish repair but if I wanted the car for the weekend I can have it and return when the parts come in. They were going to give my car back to me with a defective air bag system which I feel is extremely unsafe. They also damaged my front bumper which they had to repair. I don't feel they changed out some parts they charged me for. The car has been with them for repair since 08/22/2024. Nissan is not standing behind their product or safety.

Summary: The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Frontier. The contact stated while attempting to start the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start as intended. After several attempts, the contact was able to start the vehicle, after which the vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. The contact also stated that when the failure occurred, the exterior lights would not function properly. No warning lights were illuminated. Summary: In December 2021, I purchased a 2022 Nissan Frontier Pro-X. The vehicle comes with built-in navigation that, according to their website, should receive map updates quarterly. Since purchasing the vehicle, brand new, there have been no updates to the navigation system nor maps. I have gone back and forth with Nissan support and the dealership only to be told there are no updates. The maps are severely out of date, making a feature that many people rely on useless. Therefore, we are not getting full value of what we are paying for. This is a complaint for numerous Nissan owners as I've found in message board forums. Nissan is not addressing the problem and will not return my messages or address my concern directly.

Looking for a reliable and good-looking 4-door small pickup? This one is perfect for those who don't want one of those mammoth full-size pickups that won't fit in the garage! It's excellent for a family of four, with plenty of room for gear. The 4WD is great in the Northeast snow, and it's very quiet inside with great handling and a smooth ride. It's perfect for weekend projects or just hauling groceries.

My Frontier has less than 10,000 miles and the air conditioning is not functioning properly. Despite taking it to Peoria Nissan twice, they were unable to fix the issue. I contacted Nissan corporate to file a complaint, but they claimed that the new auto air conditioning is supposed to run like that. However, I strongly disagree and believe that the air conditioning is not working properly. If anyone knows a lawyer we can contact, please let us know. Thank you.

I purchased my truck brand new from the lot. It ran smoothly for about 55k miles, but then I started experiencing some issues. The blower resistor and blower both needed to be replaced, which cost me $150 and $500 respectively. Additionally, I had to replace two u-joints, one at 45k miles and another at 59.5k miles. Recently, the power window on the driver's side stopped working, and just last week, with 64.5k miles on the truck, I was informed that the motor needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, the 6-year, 60k mile warranty has expired, and the dealership won't cover the cost. On top of that, the timing chain is stretched to its maximum limit and needs to be replaced. Interestingly, my oil pressure gauge hasn't moved since I bought the truck, but I was two quarts low when I had it serviced by Nissan. I had a very frustrating experience with this truck and I would not recommend purchasing a Nissan in the future.

Pros: The truck has a handsome look and is equipped with a famously reliable 4-cylinder engine. It also provides a nice ride, especially with good replacement tires. However, there are some cons to consider. The automatic transmission has low horsepower and towing capacity, and the fuel mileage is unimpressive. Additionally, the OEM tires create excessive road noise and there are lots of irritating rattles at 40,000 miles.

This truck has been a disappointment, with multiple issues such as sensor failures, radiator problems, and a faulty transmission. Unfortunately, Nissan was unable to provide a solution. In the future, I will consider other brands such as Toyota.

I had a 92 Nissan Pickup that was great, so I decided to purchase this one. I am happy to say that I have not been disappointed. This truck is rugged and looks aggressive. Although the previous owner equipped it with more aggressive tires which killed the ride, it gave it much more traction. The interior is also rugged, with hard plastic that may not be elegant, but wears well and fits the character of the truck. The bedliner is bulletproof and the Utili-track system is ingenious. This truck was a great value for the price. I haven't been able to use the rear locking axle because I haven't been able to get this 2WD stuck. It's truly amazing!

I really love this truck! I traded in my 2006 Xterra because I needed an open truck bed but wanted to keep the same platform vehicle. This truck is fantastic! The leather is nice and the RF stereo sounds awesome. It has good towing for its size and okay gas mileage, getting 16 mpg in the city and 19/20 mpg on the highway (at 70mph) or 18/19 mpg (at 80/85mph). This truck is also very capable off-road; just click in the 4x4 and with the rear locker, you can go all over. 4lo has some real pulling power. Hit the hardball and have a nice, smooth ride home. Overall, it's a great truck. Way to go Nissan!

I am the fourth owner of this great truck, which I bought with only 12,000 miles on it. She's black on black and really sexy. I named her Stray because the previous three owners didn't want or appreciate her. Their loss is definitely my gain. I added running boards because I had a hard time getting in and out while wearing a skirt and trying to be ladylike. I also updated the technology and added an Alpine car stereo with GPS carplay. I drive between my two homes in the city and the country and sometimes have trouble navigating either territory. The only thing I wish for is a six-cylinder engine for going over mountains, as the transmission can be a little sluggish while hauling.

This truck is excellent and highly functional, especially with the spacious back bed that comes in handy for trips to Home Depot. It's reminiscent of the 2 Ford Sport Tracs from the early 2000s that I owned. When dealing with Planet Nissan, it's important to carefully review the contract, regardless of any verbal agreements. While I never had any issues with this before, I did encounter some problems when I went there.

This truck is perfect for anyone who needs to move furniture and belongings anywhere in the nation. The cab is actually more comfortable than the critics say, and the jump seats in the back of the driver and passenger seats are perfect for children or small people. The rearview camera is a great plus, and it's inexpensive to maintain. However, the mileage is typical of most pick-ups (approximately 19.5 mpg with 5-speed manual, city and interstate driving). The four-cylinder engine is great for my use, but it may be underpowered for towing anything larger than lawn mowing equipment.
