THEY REPAIRED A PART IN THE TRANSMISSION AND GAVE IT BACK TO ME. IT SEEMED OK BUT AFTER ABOUT TEN MILES IT DIED AGAIN. I BROUGHT IT BACK AND THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT. THEY CLEANED THE THROTTLE BODY AND GAVE IT BACK TO ME. IT IS STILL IDLING ROUGH. IT HASN'T DIED AGAIN YET BUT I'M AFRAID OF WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN IF IT DOES. I'VE LOOKED ONLINE AND THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THESE TRUCKS. I THINK IT HAS SOME DEFECT THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED THROUGH A RECALL FOR THE SAFETY OF DRIVERS ON THE ROAD.

A wheel hub that was manufactured below hardness specification may wear prematurely and eventually crack.

- Remedy: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will replaced the left and right side front wheel hub assemblies free of charge. The safety recall began on October 22, 2012. Owners may contact Nissan Customer Service at 1-800-647-7261.

AS A RESULT, THE BOLT MAY BREAK AT THE OIL FILTER ATTACHMENT POINT AND CAN CAUSE AN ENGINE OIL LEAK.
- Consequence: IF THERE IS AN ENGINE OIL LEAK, THE ENGINE OIL PRESSURE WOULD DROP AND THE ENGINE COULD SEIZE, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Hi there! I just wanted to share my experience with my car. I bought it used for 16k when it had 30k miles on it, and now it has 110k miles. I've only had to do regular maintenance like oil changes and front brakes, and it's been averaging 20 mpg overall. I haven't had a single issue with it, and it's been the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned!

I purchased the 2012 Nissan Frontier Sport Appearance crew cab a month ago and I absolutely love it! I was tired of the poor gas mileage on my 07 f-150 5.4L, so I decided to trade it in for the Frontier. Initially, I was a bit nervous about towing my fairly heavy 20 ft. flats boat with the V6 engine instead of my big 5.4L, but the Frontier performed perfectly! The pulling power is impressive and the suspension feels even better than the Ford when loaded down. I am also impressed with the gas mileage, which is much better than the 12-15 I was getting before. I drive a mix of city and highway and currently, I am getting 19.4. I would highly recommend this truck to anyone who wants to improve their MPG without sacrificing any power.

85, 92, 98, 08 and now 2012. This truck may be simple, but it's less likely to break down. It comes with the SL package, including the Utility Track system and sprayed-in bedliner. It also has four-wheel disc brakes and nice aluminum wheels. I just bought it with only 62k miles, so it's practically new! My 08 King Cab had 160k miles with only two small repairs during my ownership. This truck is built with tried and true technology, so there's no need to change it.

The 2004 Frontier XE left quite an impression on me, especially when I stepped on the gas and the tires would spin. With the new model, I had to learn to ease down a bit, but I still love the power. I noticed that the noise in the cabin is greatly reduced, allowing me to hear the radio even at low volume. The ride is also a lot smoother, making it much more comfortable compared to the '04 model. In fact, the comfort level is so high that it makes me want to take a nap while driving, if that's even possible! The older model, with its wind noise and bumpier ride, kept me awake for sure.

I really enjoyed my 2008 Frontier, so much so that I decided to replace it with the 2012 model. If my '08 hadn't been totaled, I would still be driving it today. The Frontier is a strong, durable, and dependable truck that is also fairly efficient. I opted for the short bed version, which makes maneuvering and parking in tight spaces a breeze. If you don't need to haul big loads regularly, I highly recommend the short bed. You can always use a bed extender or a trailer when necessary, and enjoy the compact size for everyday use. In my opinion, the Frontier is the best value for a used midsize truck because of its great prices and reliability, which surpasses most of the competition (including many Nissan offerings). I have absolutely no regrets about buying this truck and plan to keep it for many years to come. It's nearly as reliable as a Toyota, but much cheaper to buy, especially in the used market.

I purchased a 2012 Nissan Frontier SV Crew Cab V6 Four Wheel Drive with 80000 miles on it. Although I did not experience any issues during the first two years of ownership, the check engine light and anti-skid light are now on. I have decided to sell this vehicle and purchase a Ford, which I believe would have been a better choice from the beginning.

I purchased my pickup from Wholesale Outlet in September 2017. Unfortunately, in April 2019, I noticed that the paint was peeling on both front fenders. My pickup is a 2012 model with 77,500 miles on it. After doing some research, I discovered that this was a common issue with the 2012 Nissan Frontier SV pickups. I contacted the Nissan dealer in Spartanburg, SC, but they were unable to cover the cost of the repair. I was disappointed with the quality of the paint job, which seemed to have a poor primer coat and clear shield. Overall, I had a negative experience with this product and would hesitate to purchase another Nissan product in the future.
