The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued 1 recalls for different components of the 2023 Nissan Frontier.

- Components: TIRES:BEAD
- Summary: Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2023 Titan and Frontier vehicles. The tires may have a tear in the inner bead which can cause a rapid loss of tire pressure.
- Consequence: A rapid loss of tire pressure while driving can lead to a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: Dealers will replace all four road tires, or inspect and replace the spare tire assembly, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 10, 2023. Owners may contact Nissan's customer service at 1-800-867-7669. Nissan's number for this recall is PC973 and PC974.

Comfortable seating with a lot of get-up and go. It's great to hear that you're enjoying your new 2019 Silverado 1500 LT! The smooth ride and shifting in 9 speed automatic make for a really enjoyable driving experience. It's impressive that you had no problem hauling a 6,500 pound RV. With a mix of highway and city driving, it's great to hear that you're averaging 20 MPG. Trackson on gravel and dirt roads sounds like a lot of fun!

This truck is excellent and highly functional, especially with the spacious back bed that comes in handy for trips to Home Depot. It's reminiscent of the 2 Ford Sport Tracs from the early 2000s that I had. Regarding Planet Nissan, it's important to carefully review the contract, regardless of any verbal agreements. While I never had any issues with this before, I did encounter some problems when I went there.

I'm so glad I ignored some of the reviews and went with the Frontier! It's definitely the best truck in its class. Not only does it ride well, but it's also a strong runner.

The 2023 Nissan Pro-4x is an amazing mid-size truck that offers a smooth ride while still being rugged enough for off-road adventures and full-size truck duties. It has an exciting acceleration and boasts a class-leading 25mpg. You won't find a better mid-size truck on the market!

This truck is not an SUV, but it handles well and has a smooth engine. I even use it to move my 26-foot, 4000-pound travel trailer, and it does so with ease. After a 15000-mile check-up, the mechanics said that the brakes were still new. I have had no problems with it in 20000 miles and still love this truck two years later. The only downside is that chaining up the tow RV can be a bit of a challenge, but I guess you need something to complain about! LOL!

This is my 4th Frontier and I should have bought the 21 model and saved myself money. However, I must say that the engine and transmission are very good, and the seats seem to be getting more comfortable. Although the ride quality is poor at best and you feel every bump in the road, there is improvement in road noise in the cab. The interior still looks dated and cheap, and I have a few rattles and squeaks. On the bright side, gas mileage is a bit better over the old 6cyl. I had to install the hitch myself, which was a bit of a disappointment. It's surprising that Nissan can sell a truck without one at these prices. Overall, I think there is room for improvement, but I'm hopeful that Nissan will take customer feedback into account and make the necessary changes.

The only thing I don't like is that my A/C stopped working after just three weeks of having it. I took it to the dealership and they said they fixed it, and it was working for a few weeks, but now it's not working again. Honestly, I regret getting this truck and should have stuck with my Infinity. I've been losing days of work just to get to the dealership.

There hasn't been any improvement in front passenger crash survivability, which remains at 3 stars. This means that you are twice as likely to be fatally injured in this truck compared to a 5-star rated one. The truck uses direct injection without the ability of the port to wash the valves through detergents in gasoline. While gas mileage is not stellar in the city, it reaches 25mpg at 65mph on the highway. However, it has dropped to 16 in the city. According to consumer reports, the reliability of this truck is less than average.

I recently purchased a 2022 Frontier straight off the hauler. Unfortunately, I noticed a small ding on the passenger side rear door. Upon closer inspection, I found that the door had 7 or 8 wavy areas and outward protruding dents. Although it wasn't noticeable when looking straight into the door, it was visible from the passenger rear or passenger front down the vehicle. I brought this to the attention of the dealership less than 24 hours after purchasing the truck. They suggested paint-less dent repair, but unfortunately, their PDR guy said it was a 'factory defect' and wouldn't touch it. The door was repaired twice within a month of me buying it, but with each attempted repair, it looked even worse. The first time, it was sanded and repainted, and the second time, the door skin was replaced. However, with so many layers of paint, the door had a purple tint rather than the pearl blue. If the COMPLETE door had been replaced the first time, I would still be driving it. Unfortunately, Nissan Consumer Affairs was not helpful, and I never made it back to the dealer to have the driver door repaired. The best decision I made was to sell the truck to Carmax.

I've owned 3 SV Frontiers in the past and I have to say that the 2023 SV model is a bit of a letdown. It lacks some of the features that I really appreciated in my previous trucks, such as heated seats and rails in the pickup bed for tie downs and adjusting the bed extender. Additionally, the engine is smaller and more noticeable. The interior dimensions are also a bit smaller, with narrower seats and less storage space behind the back seats. However, I do appreciate the improved exterior styling and better gas mileage. Overall, I'm a bit disappointed with this truck and I'm not sure if I would purchase another one if it doesn't meet my expectations. Despite these issues, I still believe that this is a good truck and it may be a good fit for some people.
