- VIN: 1N6BD0CT8GN
- Components: WHEELS
- Summary: The issues iw with the lug nuts expanding locking on the tire so it cannot be takeoff for rotation or replacement or if you have a flat tire tout on the spare. Went to BJ's tire in Pasadena, MD (1-410-647-6600) to have a rotation and they said they could not do it the lug nuts expanded to larger size and it could cross thread if they got them off and tried tout them back on. AS WELL THEY MIGHT NOT BE SECURED TIGHT ENOUGH THAT THEY WOULD NOT FALLOFF WHILE DRIVING. A SAFTY ISSUES WITH BJ'S. BOTH MECHANICS VERIFIED IT AND THE TWO MANAGERS OF THE STORE AS WE.. I did not believe them so I took it to Sheehy Nissan in glen Burnie where the two top managers verified that the lug nut expanded so large they had to be replaces OR IT WOULD BE A SAFTY ISSUE with me driving with he old one on as they cannot be safely tightened down and may come off during driving. So I need all 24 lug nuts replaced. I think he said they expanded from 21 mm (or cm) to 22.5 mm (or cm).the manager has been doing this for over 30 years and his assistant said the same who has been doing it for over 25 years. Mr Brian Jordan at 1-410-760-3500 ext #81052) So I need all 24 replaced as the rest could expand. The real cost is over $800 but willing to do it for like $550 plus tire rotation. As both BJ's managers and tire people and Nissan managers are saying thesis a serious safety issue I believe them. They say unless proper tools used other issues can occur. And ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE BY THE OWNER OF THE VECHILE. Especially if the person icon the road replacing the tier with the spare. They showed me on the internet the issues with ford and other manufactures from before 2000 having this issue. As I am [XXX] it would be really hard to deal with if an emergency came up o the road. You need look into this issue. IT IS A REAL SAFETY ISSUE esp. for older folks. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

- Components: UNKNOWN OR OTHER
- Summary: I PURCHASED MY 2016 NISSAN FRONTIER NEW IN CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO. I DIDN'T REALIZE IT DIDN'T HAVE POWER DOOR LOCKS UNTIL AFTER TAKING DELIVERY. I MADE THE MISTAKE OF ASSUMING IT DID BECAUSE OF ALL THE OTHER EXTRAS IT HAD STANDARD AND HAD NEVER HEARD OF NEW VEHICLES NOT HAVING THIS STANDARD SAFETY FEATURE.. AFTER DRIVING IT ONCE AND TRYING TO UNLOCK THE BACK DOOR I REALIZED THERE WAS A BIG SAFETY ISSUE. THE ONLY WAY TO UNLOCK THE BACK DOOR IS TO REACH BETWEEN THE SUPPORT COLUMN AND THE SEAT AND THE CLEARANCE ONLY ALLOWS A SMALL HAND TO FIT THROUGH. I SPOKE WITH THE DEALERSHIP AND I WROTE TO CORPORATE SEVERAL TIMES ONLY TO BE TOLD THEY WOULD DO NOTHING. I ASKED FOR THEM TO SPLIT THE COST WITH ME TO HAVE POST MARKET AUXILIARY ELECTRONICS LOCKS INSTALLED AND THEY REFUSED. IT HAS BEEN AN ONGOING SAFETY HAZARD SINCE I GOT IT BY NOT HAVING AMPLE ACCESS TO OPEN THE BACK DOORS. I WILL HAVE GRANDCHILDREN ONE OF THESE DAYS AND I WILL BE FORCED TO TRADE THIS TRUCK IN BECASUE THERE IS NO WAY I WOULD STRAP AN INFANT INTO THE BACK SEAT WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO QUICKLY OPEN THE DOOR IF THEY BECAME CHOKED OR FOR SOME OTHER REASON THEY NEEDED QUICK ATTENTION. IF SOMEONE NOT FAMILIAR WITH THIS TRUCK WERE TO HAVE TO OPEN THE BACK DOOR, THEY WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO AND THIS COULD LEAD TO DEATH OF SOMEONE IN THE BACK SEAT SINCE THERE IS NO KEY ENTRY ON THE BACK DOOR AND IT IS NOT SAFELY ACCESSIBLE FOR OPENING. I WAS TOLD BY THEIR CORPORATE THAT THERE WASN'T ANYTHING THEY WOULD DO EVEN AFTER TELLING THEM ALL OF THE ABOVE. I THINK THIS NEEDS ADDRESSED WITH THE MANUFACTURER.

This truck has a lot of 'PROS', and the amazing price I found was the biggest one - I couldn't pass it up! Overall, I am very happy with this pickup. The cabin is quiet, and it is very stable on the road, even at highway speeds here in Kansas (80+) with brutal and sustained winds. I haven't felt like I was being blown around too much. I added a tonneau bed cover, and it helped the stability a lot, which surprised me. Braking is very good, and I have only had to engage the ABS once when a car pulled over on me in city traffic. If I am picky, there are a few negatives, however. The first is the overall cabin room, which I would expect to be similar in other models - it took a little getting used to. I don't notice it anymore, but at first, it felt a little cramped - and I wished that the seat would push back further. The other letdown was the mileage. I have averaged 19 mpg, which is mostly highway. I had hoped with a 6 cylinder that I would be in the low to mid 20's. Overall, I am very happy with this truck. I upgraded the factory speakers - I am an audiophile though - so that was important to me. I also added Raptor chrome step bars so my daughter and fiancée can get in more easily (both are around 5'3

This vehicle, a 2016 Frontier SV, doesn't come with automatic headlights, unlike most trucks. The LED screen is only 5 inches, while most trucks have screens that are eight inches or larger. However, I personally enjoy the stiff ride. I must say that the dealer was excellent. This is actually the second Nissan Frontier that I have owned.

The Nissan Frontier offers a range of packages beyond the standard Crew Cab with a 5-foot bed. However, it's worth noting that the head restraints on the back seats can block 2/3 of the rearview mirror. I found a solution by removing the head restraints to have a full view of the rear of the truck. While GPS/Navigation comes as a premium, there are more affordable options available. For example, you can have GPS with a custom mount that is positioned just off your right side of the steering wheel at the 2 o'clock position. I have personally used my TomTom 5/7

Tried out Tacoma (did not like the ride and visibility), Colorado, and Frontier. Of the three, I found the Frontier to be the best option, and it was also about 5K less expensive. Although fuel economy was a concern, I was pleasantly surprised to get over 19 mpg on my first two fill-ups. Overall, I'm very happy with my choice.

I recently traded in my 2009 Dodge Ram for a 2016 Nissan Frontier Pro4X and I couldn't be happier! My Dodge was falling apart, so I knew it was time for a new vehicle. I considered the new Tacoma, but I wasn't a fan of it being the first run of the 'completely renewed Tacoma', so I opted for the Frontier instead. I was drawn to the fact that it hasn't changed much since 2004, which is a testament to its value retention. Previously, I owned a 2006 Jeep Wrangler and I found that the Frontier drives similarly, which is why I fell in love with the Pro4X. If you're looking for a reliable and sturdy truck, I highly recommend the Frontier.

Hi there little truck! I noticed that the 4 cylinder engine wasn't quite what I was expecting. It lacks a bit in power and gives me about the same mileage as my old 2000 Nissan Frontier 6 cylinder standard transmission did. The truck I bought is pretty basic with crank windows and manual door locks. I wish I had upgraded, but the price was the reason for the lesser truck.

I'm still very happy with my 2016 Frontier. Although I would have liked to trade it in for a model with better mileage and more advanced technology, Nissan hasn't quite caught up with the Frontier yet. Additionally, the prices have gone up while fewer options are now standard. My dealer has been calling me to trade, but I'm holding onto my current vehicle until they offer better features at a reasonable price. As of now, I've only driven 16k miles in 25 months. Update: After 44 months and 26k miles, I'm still happy overall. However, the backup display has gotten dim and there doesn't seem to be a way to fix it with software updates.

Hey there! I'll keep it brief. I was in the market for a new truck to replace my trusty 2001 Ford Ranger 4x4, and this one seemed like a good fit. After negotiating a great price, I took it for a spin on some local roads at speeds under 50mph. It handled decently enough. However, I was in for a surprise when I took it on the highway or any back roads with curves posted at 50mph or higher. It takes some effort to keep the truck on track. As someone who drives school buses, both flat-nosed and conventional, I can tell you that they handle ten times better than this truck. Luckily, I mostly drive locally. If you're considering buying this truck, make sure to take it for a thorough test drive on a variety of roads before making a decision.

I strongly advise against purchasing the Frontier as it has poor gas mileage for a smaller truck and is susceptible to bouncing around when semi trucks pass, resulting in feeling every bump in the road.

Hello, I recently purchased a 2016 Frontier and noticed that the padding near the backrest in the driver's seat is missing. Unfortunately, this has caused some discomfort and pain in my back. While the passenger seat is comfortable and has the padding, I have been unable to get Nissan to replace or repair the driver's seat. This has left me feeling dissatisfied with Nissan's customer service. I had previously purchased a 2011 Frontier and was very happy with it, which is why I decided to purchase a new 2016 model. However, the driver and passenger seats on the 2011 were identical and comfortable. I hope that Nissan can address this issue and improve their customer service. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
