2014 Infiniti Qx50 problems
The Infiniti QX50, previously the Infiniti EX or Nissan Skyline Crossover until 2013, is a compact luxury crossover SUV produced by Infiniti, the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Nissan. The first-generation QX50 is a minor model update of the EX, while also changing the nameplate to QX50 in line with the marque's new Q and QX nomenclature, which took place for the 2013 (China) and 2015 (United States) model years. The second-generation QX50 entered production in November 2017 as a 2019 model.

The concept car was unveiled during the 2007 New York Auto Show. It included a surround-view camera (marketed as Around View Monitor), lane departure system, V6 engine, 5-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel-drive, double-arch grille, large L-shaped headlights with adaptive front lighting system (AFS), integrated fog lights, LED taillights and an "arch" profile design.
EX35 (2007-2013)
The production model EX35 was revealed at the 2007 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, followed by Jamsil Olympic Stadium in Seoul.
North American model of the EX35 went on sale in December 2007 as a 2008 model year vehicle. The EX35 was offered with a 297 hp (221 kW) 3.5 L V6 (VQ35HR) until it was rebadged in 2013 as EX37 with a 325 hp (242 kW) 3.7 L V6 (VQ37VHR). For the 2014 model year, Infiniti again rebadged all of its models renaming the EX37 as QX50.
South Korean model went on sale in 2008-01-24 as 2008 model year vehicle.

- Summary: The sunroof glass exploded while driving down the road at 45 mph. I was not near any trees, have anyone driving in front of me, nor under/by an overpass for something to fall on the roof. The car is garage kept so limited exposure to elements. Apparently, this is not an uncommon issue for the Infiniti. Sounded like a gun going off when it exploded and rained glass down the back of the car. Fortunately, I had the sunroof shield closed and was not showered by the exploding glass.

I've had this car for 5 1/2 years and it has been great to me. Although there are some drawbacks such as a tight turning radius, nicks in the supple leather, limited interior space, and outdated Bluetooth technology, it still has great handling, a powerful engine, and decent mileage (21.4 mpg after 85,000 miles). The technology may be 6 years old, but it still works well. The ride is very comfortable and reasonably insulated from road noise. It has a quiet engine, but if you juice it, it has a nice guttural roar. When I buy my next vehicle, I would definitely consider replacing it with a new edition.

I'm so glad I bought this car! It has everything I wanted and more. It's comfortable, quick, intuitive, and fun to drive. Even my dog loves it! She can stick her nose out the rear window without having to put her front legs on the door frame. We're both happy campers. I haven't had many passengers, so I can't attest to the rear seat comfort, but overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I have owned my QX50 for just over a week now. While I may have rushed my decision to purchase the vehicle after looking at many options, I am confident in my choice. During the test drive, I did not notice some features that I have come to expect in a car of this price range, such as one-touch windows up/down, ventilated seats, and a cargo net. Additionally, the car lacks seat lumbar adjustment, one-touch moon/sun roof, blind spot indicators, and adaptive cruise control, which were present in our previous $25k Altima. Despite these shortcomings, I am still satisfied with my purchase and look forward to enjoying my QX50 for years to come.

Hi there! I wanted to share my experience with my car. Every couple of months, when I slip into reverse, the engine automatically rises to 3500 rpm, which can be a bit alarming. I've found that I need to press down hard on the brake to stop the car. Unfortunately, Park Place Infinity has not been able to fix the issue or take the car back.
