Common 2019 Infiniti Qx50 problems
Based on the complaints from owners of the 2019 Infiniti QX50, several common problems have been reported:
- Electrical System Defects:
The 2019 Infiniti QX50 has been plagued by electrical system problems. Drivers report issues such as dashboard screens and rear-view camera displays going blank, odd electrical system symptoms, and components continuing to function even when the vehicle is turned off. Complaints also include problems with the key fob, doors, and navigation system.
- Braking System Malfunctions:
One of the major concerns involves the service brakes in the 2019 QX50. Drivers have experienced sudden activation of the emergency braking system despite no objects near the vehicle. This issue poses a safety risk as the Forward Emergency Braking system (FEB) malfunctions by falsely detecting obstacles that are not present.
- Airbag Deployment Failure:
Several drivers have reported that the airbags failed to deploy during collisions, leading to safety concerns. The "Check Airbag" warning light appeared on the dashboard prior to accidents, indicating a critical issue with the airbag system. This failure to deploy airbags has been observed in both Nissan and Infiniti vehicles produced in 2019.
- Miscellaneous Issues:
Other complaints include problems with the liftgate closing unexpectedly, navigation system malfunctions, stalling while driving, and issues with the touch screen not responding. These miscellaneous issues contribute to the overall dissatisfaction and safety concerns among owners of the 2019 Infiniti QX50.
These reported problems highlight significant safety and reliability issues with the 2019 Infiniti QX50, impacting the driving experience and potentially compromising the safety of both drivers and passengers.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2024-06-19
- VIN: 3PCAJ5M15KF
- Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
- Summary: All vehicle doors and sometimes lift gate fail to open either by key fob or by indoor automatic door locks. Have to use Valet key to open driver door (alarm does not sound), then enter vehicle and manually unlock or lock desired door. Safety issue because kids can automatically exit or any individual can enter the vehicle unannounced while stopped. Neighbor has exact same vehicle year and model and is experiencing the same issues.
ENGINE PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2024-05-03
- VIN: 3PCAJ5M17KF
- Components: ENGINE
- Summary: While driving I heard a roaring noise from my engine and my car’s A/C stopped cooling. I have no warning messages from car regarding the engine. The noise only stops once the car is fully powered off. I recorded a video of the noise and alert panel that shows no warnings/issues. Will be contacting my local service department.
POWER TRAIN,ENGINE PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2024-03-24
- VIN: 3PCAJ5M15KF
- Components: POWER TRAIN,ENGINE
- Summary: About five months ago, while driving on the highway, the care would say it's in Drive, but sounded like it couldn't get out of 1st gear and I'd get high RPMs. Thankfully there was stop-and-go traffic and I didn't have to exit pull off the highway or hit high speeds. I exited at the next exit and, as soon as the car stopped, it wasn't possible to get it into gear. Eventually the car started and I was able to get into gear and drive it using Manual drive mode. Once at the dealership we were told it was a bad VCR and they needed to replace that to get it going. That was around 38,000 miles. This most recent incident, I had just gotten onto the highway when I started to hear a low whiney noise when pressing the accelerator. I only had a few miles till my exit and decided to continue, thinking it might just be debris or something. After exiting, I literally rolled into the gas station because the car, despite being in Drive, was not in gear. The car stalled and I couldn't get it started, or I could get it started, but it refused to go to Neutral to allow me to push it out of the way. Eventually, the car started and I was able to put it into Drive. Thinking it was the same issue, I planned to drive it the 2 miles home. I made it to the first traffic light and the car turned off, leaving the me stranded in the middle lane of the road. I called the police and tow trucks to come help me get the car moved (no one knows how to put the car into an emergency Neutral position including the 2 officers, 4 tow truck drivers and an Infiniti mechanic that was driving by). Eventually the tow truck came and I was able to drop it off at the dealership, who have told me there is "a chunk of bearing material in pan with copper particulates." I'm currently around 40,000 miles.
ENGINE PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2024-02-29
- VIN: 3PCAJ5M14KF
- Components: ENGINE
- Summary: Engine acceleartion issue. Rpm goes high but car struggle to speed up.. At first it happened when car was at stop light, struggle to move forward.. took to Grubbs infiniti.. At first, dealer could not replicate the issue, but luckily I had taken the video of the issue I had. Than the dealer was finally able to experience the issue themselves and replaced the transmission thinking that was the issue. I took the car after repair and within 3-4 days I had the same issue. This time I was driving in a freeway at 60 mph. When I hit the gas pedal to accelerate faster, the engine RPM went high but instead of speeding up, car felt like slowing down. So i exited the freeway to service road. Once the speed went down to 20mph, it didn't go any higher than that. This time there was a check engine light on I took it back to the dealership .They again could not replicate the issue and just did the ECM software update. I took the car home but after driving less than 20 miles, the car had the same issue. I again took it back to delearship. This time they are replacing something called VCR..Still waiting now

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2024-01-23
- VIN: 3PCAJ5M10KF
- Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE
- Summary: I was driving down an empty road, no one in front of me, beside me, or behind me and the automatic braking system applied itself and slammed on brakes abruptly and beeped twice, without any prior warning or obstruction, causing the car to jolt into braking. I have contacted the dealership regarding this and they are looking at the precollision and emergency braking system next week. There were no prior warnings this braking was occurring. The car has had multiple issues since purchasing including headlight blinking and replacement within the first month of ownership, automatic sunroof needing a replacement because it was installed in the factory wrong, and the door lock actuator not locking/ or unlocking upon clicking lock/unlock. The car has been in and out of the Infiniti dealership in the 4 months since purchase. The car was purchased September 2023, and it is now January 25th, 2024.
ENGINE PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2023-10-09
- VIN: 3PCAJ5M35KF
- Components: ENGINE
- Summary: I was driving on the highway and the engine started to make a humming sound I would say. Within the next 3 to 4 miles I started losing forward power, and the noise started to get louder. I was afraid my car was going to die on the highway so I stayed in the far right lane so I could coast into the shoulder if I had to. Thankfully, there was an exit and I was able to get off and pull off onto a street at which point it was a louder knocking sound coming from the engine. I drove another block and the check engine light came on and I was getting less power as I pushed the gas pedal. At that point I parked the car and had it towed for repair. This all happened on October 9, 2023. Later that week, I was told by the dealership that I needed a complete new engine that I had thrown a rod in the engine. The car was only four years old and had 75,000 miles on it. Infiniti did help pay part of the bill, but I still had to pay a good portion of the repair and oddly enough the morning after I drove it home, the car would not start. The car was towed back to the dealership. I needed a new starter. That too has since been repaired. I decided to report this after seeing an article this morning regarding an investigation into Nissan for engine failure problems in my model of car.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,BACK OVER PREVENTION,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2023-11-22
- VIN: 3PCAJ5M32KF
- Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,BACK OVER PREVENTION,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE
- Summary: There is a continuous issues with my battery dying. There are multiple malfunction lights showing, particularly the rear collision light. The check engine light is also showing, and I have had an oil change recently. The car breaks on its own. While backing into a space, the steering wheel would not completely turn right until I straightened up the car. Finally. I have had my driver's side car seat repaired three times by the dealership. It works sometimes and not others. Any suggestions on any or all of this would be helpful. Thank you.
UNKNOWN OR OTHER PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2023-08-24
- VIN: 3PCAJ5M10KF
- Components: UNKNOWN OR OTHER
- Summary: The Drive Unit Power Back Door. Part Number: 90560-5NA0B has failed and causes a severe risk of injury when trying to access the cargo area. The lift gate rises up and abruptly descends causing a hazardous situation to the consumer. This is a premature failure for a 4 year old car and has a very high cost to repair. The lift gate is very heavy and could cause severe injury if a person is struck by it while it is rapidly moving in a downward direction. It will not stay up and the “safety” feature is not functional.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,SEATS PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2021-07-29
- VIN: 3PCAJ5M38KF
- Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,SEATS
- Summary: The driver seat electric motor has failed on three separate occasions. 7/29/21, mileage 22,984 9/3/21, Mileage 24156 7/12/22, Mileage 34,414 When the electric motor fails the seat can not move forward or back. Depending on the seat position at failure, certain individuals would not be able to reach the pedals to safely drive the vehicle. This could create a serious safety issue requiring some one to drive without reasonable control. Each time the motor failed it was replaced by the dealer. No warning lamps or indication of failure happened prior to the three times of this severe safety failure. As of 6/18/23 the seat has been working properly. I was in contact with a case worker at Infiniti numerous times ( between 7/11/22 and 8/11/22) and she did not think this was a serious problem, as if I was the only person reporting this issue. This was very troubling to me because it seemed to be a very serious safety issue. The last time I was at the dealer for service work (earlier this year) they revealed to me that this same issue has happened in other vehicles besides mine.
SUSPENSION PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2023-04-12
- VIN: 3PCAJ5M37KF
- Components: SUSPENSION
- Summary: My vehicle has only 36000 miles and I drive on paved roads in suburban settings. FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2022-08-10
- VIN: 3PCAJ5M32KF
- Components: FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE
- Summary: On three separate occasions, the collision avoidance system activated without anything blocking it. One incident I was driving at least 35 mph thru and intersection and the car suddenly halted to a complete stop jerking myself and my 6 year old forward. The vehicle behind me had to swerve to avoid rear ending me.
SERVICE BRAKES,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2022-10-02
- VIN: 3PCAJ5M11KF
- Components: SERVICE BRAKES,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE
- Summary: The automatic braking system on my car seems to malfunction when going across the Louisiana/Mississippi bridge. As I was driving the car began to brake but it didn’t come to a complete stop. This put my safety at risk because there were cars behind me and if I would have come to a complete stop on the bridge it would have been a terrible accident. there was a warning issued on my dash while the car was beginning to brake on the bridge.
SUSPENSION,SERVICE BRAKES,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2022-09-24
- VIN: 3PCAJ5M32KF

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2022-07-21
- VIN: 3PCAJ5M10KF
- Components: FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE
- Summary: Multiple instances of forward emergency braking system engaging on an empty road or when no vehicle is in close proximity. Dealer service department states insects on radar system may be to blame, and were unable to reproduce the issue. Warning light and brakes engage, depressing the brake pedal and returning to accelerator cancel the warning however sudden braking at highway speeds presents an unsafe condition to drivers following behind who may not anticipate sudden braking in free-flowing traffic.
FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2022-06-21
- VIN: 3PCAJ5M35KF
- Components: FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE
- Summary: Forward Collision Avoidance system automatically applies brakes during normal driving situtations. This will increase the safety risk for passangers including small children, animals, the driver and other drivers and their passangers. The warning lights came on the same time the FCA applied brakes. Numerious complaints already registered suggest approved recall and repairs are required. The QX50 is overloaded with Sensory Packages, advanced technology and is being serviced by undertrained technicians as stated in previous complaints of insufficiant maintenance repairs fixing the safety issue. If we had been in an airplane instead of a car we wouldn't be here to file this notice!
BACK OVER PREVENTION,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2022-05-03
- VIN: 3pcaj5m3xkf
- Components: BACK OVER PREVENTION,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE
- Summary: Was driving down the street going 55mph, not one car in front of me. The automatic breaking turns on and the car hit the brakes by itself. There was a car behind me during the first incident and it almost caused an accident. The driver thought I was brake-checking him and it caused him to have a fit of road rage. This particular incident has happened a total of 6 times. I took the car to Infiniti after the 2nd occurrence and they told me they couldn't find any issues with the vehicle.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,VISIBILITY/WIPER,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2019-12-31
- VIN: 3pcaj5m33kf
- Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,VISIBILITY/WIPER,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE
- Summary: Multiple repeated problems with electrical system. Repeated crash sensor failure. This mainly happens when it is warm or sunny. The dealership has had the vehicle four times and the problem is still reoccurring. The malfunction light comes on when the car is first started or while driving. The dealership stated that none of the crash sensors work when it is lit. They have replaced the module that was diagnosed to be the problem, however there is still the same issues. They are going to replace the module again. They have replaced a module to control the wipers twice. The wipers still come on randomly when it is sunny, and the delay for the wipers does not work when it is raining. The cruise control stopped working and is throwing codes. This morning`s new warning was shift system malfunction. It's been in three times for the air-conditioner. The cooling fan was stuck on high speed until they replaced a sensor. The car was inspected and the brake pads were okay, however when the car stopped, there was a very loud pulsation. The dealership told me it needed rear brakes, which we replaced, and $600 later, they were still pulsating. After the second time taking it back, the dealer then said it was the tires which were new. We took it to a private garage, and the problem was warped, factory front rotars because they could not support the weight of the car. They were replaced with performance drilled and slotted rotars, which corrected the issue. The dealership cannot figure out the electrical issues, so they keep replacing the same parts and returning it back in a dangerous state. Since the vehicle is throwing so many codes and has so many malfunctions that I feel unsafe driving it. All of these problems problems started December 2019, when the car had 8000 miles on it. It has been to two different infiniti dealerships, neither being able to fix it. We have photos of all the codes, but when we tried to upload, it failed over and over.

- Date Of Incident: 2021-12-18
- VIN: 3PCAJ5M31KF
- Components: FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE
- Summary: After multiple related incidents, I am compelled to make a report. My car just displayed red and white flashing indicators on the dash and automatically screeched to a halt, completely out of my control, in the middle of a busy intersection. Because the road was damp from rain, my car actually skidded. I was not going to hit anything, there was no car or object in front of me. I was driving at about 30 MPH. This has happened repeatedly in parking garages and other low-light scenarios. I have brought the car to the dealer and gotten no answers. At this point I am terrified to drive the car.

THEN IN AUGUST 2020, I HAD TO PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR THAT TEST AND WAS ABLE TO PROVE THAT THE CAR HAD A CO2 ISSUE THAT CAUSED ME TO NEARLY GO UNCONSCIOUS A FEW TIMES, AND RESULTED IN SEVERAL MONTHS OF SEVERE MIGRAINES AND DIZZINESS WHICH CAUSED ME TO BE OUT OF WORK AND LOSS OF WAGES. MY HUSBAND ALSO DROVE THE CAR FOR A WEEK AND BEGAN TO EXPERIENCE HEADACHES. THIS WAS AFTER THEY CHANGED THE EVAP HOSE LINE EVEN THOUGH I NEVER SMELLED GAS. I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE IT SINCE DECEMBER 2019 AND AM FORCED TO KEEP PAYING FOR IT WHILE THE LEMON LAW SUIT PROCESS GOES ON. THANKS TO COVID, THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR ALMOST A YEAR NOW WITH NO END IN SIGHT. INFINITI WAS MADE AWARE OF THE CO2 ISSUES IN AUGUST 2020 AND ONLY NOW IN FEBRUARY 2021 IS WHEN THEY HAVE ASKED TO BRING IN THE CAR TO ATTEMPT TO FIX THE ISSUE. I ALSO EXPERIENCED ISSUES WITH THE CAR SUDDENLY BREAKING WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND NO CARS IN FRONT OR NEAR ME, AND CAMERAS TURNING ON FOR NO REASON. THIS WAS MY 6TH NISSAN INFINITI SINCE 2004, AND I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN.

Congratulations on your new QX50! It's great to hear that you're enjoying your new car so far. I hope the weather improves soon so you can take it out for a spin. As a previous Infinity owner, you know firsthand that they make great cars. I'm sure you'll have a blast driving it on the highway. While the gear shift may take some getting used to, I'm confident you'll get the hang of it in no time. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and we look forward to hearing more about your experience with the QX50!

I recently purchased a 2019 QX50 from the Infiniti dealer and I am absolutely in love with it! The sales team was wonderful and very friendly, making the whole experience even better. As someone who has been a big fan of Honda cars for the past 22 years, I wanted to try something different for my luxury car. After checking out BMW, Mercedes, Lexus and Infiniti, I decided to go with the QX50 and it was a great decision. The car has a stunningly designed interior and provides a very smooth ride. The second row seating has lots of leg room and there is plenty of cargo space. The car also has great features that make it feel luxurious. Although the Infotainment system could use some improvement, I love having two screens, one for Navigation and one for utilities and features. The new VC Turbo Engine and all the driving modes are also fantastic. I am getting good city fuel economy, almost 22 City and 27 High way. I have no doubt that the QX50 will become a popular choice for luxury car buyers, especially for European car fans. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase and would highly recommend the QX50 to anyone looking for a Hybrid Luxury SUV.

Hi there! I wanted to share my experience with the QX 50 AWD Essential in Lunar White with tan interior. I've already driven it over 1,000 miles and I have to say, I'm absolutely loving it! The ride is incredibly smooth, quiet, and refined. Plus, the Bose audio is spectacular and the zero gravity front leather seats are some of the best I've ever experienced - they even rival Volvo's! If you're in the market for a spacious CUV that's not too large, with luxurious appointments and great MPG, then this is definitely the one for you. It's a terrific value!

Review sites like these tend to attract the extreme 5% on either end of the spectrum; extremely happy or wildly disappointed. However, I wanted to share my experience with our Infiniti QX50. We bought a well-optioned Essential 29 months ago with only 7k miles. It now has over 15k trouble-free miles. My wife loves it for her day-to-day use and we both especially love it for long-distance trips. We have owned a number of BMWs and Audis, one Mercedes and one Lexus and this SUV rides as well as any of them and handles almost as well within the limits we put a car to. Infiniti have managed to make a mid-size SUV handle crisply and corner more flatly than expected while also making it one of the most comfortable road cruisers out there. The seats are class-leading and might only be bettered by a Volvo or an S-class Benz. I drove it non-stop for four hours on our recent trip to Chicago and I hopped out of it at a rest stop with zero aching joints, muscles or back pain. I have no complaints about mpg either. For a vehicle of its capacity and mid-size, I don't see anything to complain about. My 36+ mpg run proves that the new engine technology actually does deliver on its promise. That number is almost hybrid-like!I completely agree with others' complaints about the 'bungee-cord-like' acceleration behavior, but I am comparing it to my 2017 model, which is a little rocket and uses a conventional 7-speed transmission. However, my neighbors had no such complaint when they drove it, so it's subjective. I just wish it had an actual 7 or 8-speed automatic because I don't like CVTs, even though I acknowledge what an engineering triumph they are. On the other hand, we love the two-screen system, but we wish it had Apple CarPlay (introduced in the 2021 model). The Bose stereo system is the best we've ever heard in any of our cars; sub-woofers in the front doors make a huge difference. Aesthetically, it's gorgeous both inside and out. Only a Porsche SUV compares, and maybe Lincoln's new family of SUVs. Our blue on wheat is simply delicious. The safety tech is also awesome. Both of our SUVs have almost the same features (my 17 lacks the heads-up display), but I like that the steering wheel vibrates in the 2019 model instead of the annoying audible beeps in my 2017. The rear and overhead cameras are excellent, and all the other LDW, LDA, etc., etc. are awesome. In our time and miles, we've suffered zero issues. It is delivering on the Japanese promise of stress-free ownership. So here's another review from a satisfied customer to offset the poor experiences from others. I guess we'll never know which is the exception and which is the norm, but we are fans of Infinitis so far. Update: 11-1-22. No change in our opinion. The car has taken us to Florida and back (from Philly) comfortably, without issue, and the impressive mpg continues (we got 29 mpg over the 2,300 mile trip). We're at 25k miles now, which is still not a lot, and so our trouble-free experience is as should be expected. I've discovered that switching the car into 'sport' mode erases the bungee-cord sensation when accelerating, but at the expense of a couple of mpg. It's up to the owner to decide which one to use. We are completely satisfied with the vehicle overall. As a career engineer and manufacturing manager, I must confess that the vehicle is an incredible engineering triumph for Infiniti! Only time (and miles) will tell whether the new-fangled variable compression engine proves reliable, but for now, it represents the true state-of-the-art for internal combustion engines.

I've been driving my QX50 for six months now and I must say, it's a fantastic car! Not only is it one of the best-looking SUVs on the road, but it also catches the attention of other drivers who speed up just to get a closer look. As someone who is 6'4'', I appreciate the ample legroom that the car provides. The interior is also very impressive and well-designed. I'm currently getting 26 mpg in the city and on the highway, which is better than what some other drivers are reporting. Of course, fuel efficiency depends on how the car is driven. The controls are straightforward and easy to use, and while the braking may be a bit soft, it's still reliable. The car is also very quick, especially when the steering is set to sport mode, which gives more feel for the drive-by-wire steering. The acceleration is smooth and constant, although the shifter takes a bit of getting used to. I believe Audis have a similar setup. The run-flat tires can be a bit unforgiving on bumpy roads, but they perform great on smooth roads. If you need an OEM replacement tire, I recommend going to Tire Rack. I've read some negative comments about the driver assist braking system, but I haven't had any issues with it. In fact, I think it's a great system, especially considering how many drivers are distracted on the road. Good work, Infiniti! However, if the system bothers you, it can be easily turned off. I've never experienced any gassy smells in my car, but I've heard that certain states use higher blends of ethanol in their gas, which may be the cause. Finally, the car has been very reliable. I've owned three other Infiniti cars in the past, and I've never had any problems with them. Overall, my QX50 is an extremely comfortable, great-looking car that rides like a champ and has excellent fuel efficiency.

I am sorry to hear about the difficulties you have faced with your Infiniti QX50. It must be frustrating to have paid so much for a car you don't have due to the unavailability of parts. It is also concerning that you have been without your car for over 6 months and have not received a solution from Infiniti Consumer Affairs. I understand that you have been trying to resolve this issue with various departments and managers, but have not received a response. As a fellow working parent, I can empathize with the challenges of getting to work and taking care of your family without a car. I hope that Infiniti can find a solution for you soon and provide the assistance you need. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.I had a really bad experience with Infiniti. I overpaid and they sent me a refund check that was returned to them because they didn’t have my correct address. Unfortunately, they still posted it against my account as though I had cashed it, which put my account into delinquency for a check I never received. This is my 4th Infiniti and I was disappointed with how they treated me. When we were driving the car off the lot, my husband found a razor blade on the roof. They ended up replacing the panels, but we would never have purchased a damaged car. I was sent to collections twice, the first time because my bill was 18 days overdue and the second time for the check I never received that they posted against my account. It has been a nightmare of an experience from beginning to now, still without a car. I hope they can be held accountable for their actions. I would not recommend buying an Infiniti.

If you are considering purchasing this car or the Nissan Rouge, please be aware that they come with run flat tires. While they may seem like a good idea, I had a routine flat tire after only 4 months of owning the car and was surprised to find that there was no spare tire in the car. I took the car to the nearest dealership and was informed that run flat tires cannot be patched and must be replaced. Unfortunately, the car does not come with a spare tire. As someone who drives a lot, I get an average of 3 flat tires a year due to the heavy home construction in Southern CA and the 40k miles I put on any car. This means that I cannot drive to places like Vegas or Phoenix where there are no services for 75-100 miles in the middle of the desert. Waiting in the 115 degree heat for a tow truck that will take 4 hours to get to me is not an option. While I understand the idea behind run flat tires, I believe that they are a serious consumer safety threat. I have decided to replace all 4 tires with Michelins that can be patched, but I still will not have a spare. I do not want to lug around a 5th rim and tire in my passenger seat or smell that stink in the cabin. If you are interested in this car, I recommend demanding a tire replacement and a spare/jack before making a purchase. Safety should always come first. I paid $41,800 for this car with an MSRP of $47,800.

I own a 2019 Infiniti QX50 with 18000 miles on it. Unfortunately, I have experienced some issues with the car since the beginning. Firstly, the AC has not been working properly and has never gone lower than 76 degrees. On one occasion, the AC did not work at all. Despite the dealer's inspection, they were unable to find any issues and requested that I bring the car back when the AC stops working again. Secondly, the back passenger door lock is broken and cannot be opened remotely or from other doors. I have to manually turn the lock to open the door, which is concerning as I have two young children in car seats in the back. If an emergency were to occur, I would not be able to get them out quickly. Lastly, I recently experienced a strong gas smell inside the car while driving with my children. This caused me to feel dizzy and drowsy, and I had to pull over. Thankfully, my husband was nearby and was able to take the children with him. I am currently on a tow truck, towing my car home as AAA advised me that it is not safe to drive due to the risk of fire. I will be taking the car to the dealer tomorrow. Despite these issues, I remain confident that the dealer will be able to resolve them effectively.

Although there are some mechanical issues with this car, the main problem is the unavailability of parts. The windshield replacement took over two weeks and I am still waiting for the navigation/radio unit after 15 days. Infiniti needs to improve their customer service. However, I am confident that these issues can be resolved and I am hopeful for a positive outcome.

Hi there! I hope you're doing well. I noticed that you purchased the Qx50 in June and I wanted to reach out to you about your gas mileage concerns. I completely understand how frustrating it can be to not get the fuel economy you were expecting. Have you tried any methods to improve your gas mileage? Also, have you considered taking your car to a mechanic to see if there are any underlying issues? Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks!
