- Summary: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain model year 2010-2012 Toyota Prius, 2010 and 2012 Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid, and 2011-2012 Lexus CT200h vehicles. A weld in the curtain shield air bag inflator may crack causing one or both portions of the inflator to eject into the passenger cabin.
- Consequence: If either portion of the curtain shield air bag inflator ejects into the passenger cabin, there is an increased risk of injury to vehicle occupants.
- Remedy: Toyota will notify owners, and dealers will install retention brackets to the curtain shield air bags, free of charge. The recall began on October 17, 2016. Owners may contact Toyota Customer Service Department at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's number for this recall is Toyota G0U, and Lexus GLJ.

Although you mentioned that you have a lead foot, you're still getting 37 to 40mpg, which is impressive. I understand that living in San Diego with hills everywhere can affect the mileage, but it's good to know that you still enjoy the handling. This car is the perfect combination of sporty, economical, practical, and fun, and it definitely beats the competition of other hybrids in the $28-35k range!!

For a small car, the CT200 is incredibly comfortable. It's one of the most comfortable cars I've ever driven on the highway. The navigation and entertainment systems make the trip more enjoyable. Plus, with an impressive 44.0 mpg (I've even gotten more than 50 at times), the CT200 is easy on the wallet. I highly recommend this car to anyone looking for a fantastic small car.

We've had the car for over two weeks now and it's been great! The gas mileage is outstanding - it's amazing how little it costs to fill up the tank and how far you can go on a full tank. Coming from a larger vehicle, it did take some time to get used to, but the steering is very responsive and there's good visibility from all angles. It's really a fun car to drive and there's plenty of space for both front and rear passengers.

I'm so happy I found this car! Even though I was originally looking for a hybrid, I stumbled upon this car in a commercial and then at an Auto Show. I'm getting the same gas mileage as the estimates, but I'm actually trending better than 43 mpg! I've only had it for two weeks and the mpg is getting better as I continue to learn how to drive it. While the trunk space and interior cabin are small, it's perfect for someone who doesn't drive a lot of passengers around. The best part about this car is that you can get more power just by turning a dial to 'sport mode'. When in that mode, the pick up is noticeably quicker than when in 'normal mode'. Overall, I'm very happy with this car!

It's wonderful to hear that you're getting such good gas savings, averaging about 40-45 mpg with a mix of city and highway driving. While it's unfortunate that the car is too low to drive up your driveway without scraping the bottom, it's great that you've found a solution by parking it on the street. It's understandable that with a baby on the way, you'll need a car with more space, as the back of this car is too small for adults and can't even fit a regular size suitcase. Thank you for the helpful tip about servicing - it's good to know that Toyota charges much less than Lexus for the same service!

I absolutely adore my Lexus! I've had it for nearly two years now and it's still giving me great mileage. Not only is it a blast to drive, but it handles urban driving with ease. One thing I didn't consider when purchasing it, however, was how low to the ground it is. While it's easy for the driver to get in and out, passengers often need to be let out away from the curb. Unfortunately, I've been experiencing some issues with my tires losing air pressure due to corrosion on the chrome wheels. I've had to reseal two wheels already. Has anyone else had this problem? I would love to hear your thoughts!

With the F-Sport package, this car has an upscale eco-friendly look that I really like. The modern wood and leather-free interior is a refreshing change and it's great to see new materials being used. While the power may be on the lighter side, the handling with the sports package is definitely competitive with the Mini's and GTI's of the world. And let's not forget that it gets over forty miles per gallon on regular fuel!

Hi there! I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to share my experience with my CT so far. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and have only driven less than 1000 miles. Despite that, I've already fueled up twice and both times I was able to achieve between 49 and 50 miles per gallon! This is definitely above the mpg on the sticker. I've noticed that there are a plethora of CT drivers out there, some getting below 40mpg while others are getting over 50mpg. It all depends on how you drive the car. If you're looking for good mpg, it won't outrun any car on the road, so be prepared to pull to the right, slowly get up to speed, and let the traffic pass you by. Personally, I'm okay with that. If you are too, then the CT is definitely the car for you! Let me know if you have any questions or if there's anything else I can help with.

Great dry road car and fun to drive. However, I had some trouble driving it in the snow. The vehicle control system prevented me from moving at a stop sign on snow/ice, which was a bit frustrating. I spoke to a Lexus dealer and found out that this feature is not available on this model, unlike other Lexus models. As a result, I decided to trade the car for a Camry, which has a vehicle control system lock out and performs much better on snow/ice. If you're looking for a car that can handle snow/ice well, I would recommend the Camry, which has almost the same expected mileage.

This car may not be for everyone, but I can confidently say that it has some impressive features. The MPG is excellent, exceeding advertised expectations, and the front seats are exceptionally comfortable. Additionally, the exterior design is quite attractive. While there are some trade-offs with a hybrid, the Sport mode provides better performance, and the car's overall design is a testament to Lexus's commitment to innovation. Although the ride can be a bit harsh, and the back seat is cramped, these are minor issues that can be overlooked when considering the car's many benefits.
