- Summary: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain model year 2010-2012 Toyota Prius, 2010 and 2012 Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid, and 2011-2012 Lexus CT200h vehicles. A weld in the curtain shield air bag inflator may crack causing one or both portions of the inflator to eject into the passenger cabin.
- Consequence: If either portion of the curtain shield air bag inflator ejects into the passenger cabin, there is an increased risk of injury to vehicle occupants.
- Remedy: Toyota will notify owners, and dealers will install retention brackets to the curtain shield air bags, free of charge. The recall began on October 17, 2016. Owners may contact Toyota Customer Service Department at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's number for this recall is Toyota G0U, and Lexus GLJ.

I've owned three Lexus vehicles in the past - an ES 300, ES 350, and my last car, a GS 350 AWD. When the CT 200h came out, I took it for a test drive and immediately fell in love with it. I drove it home that very day! I was drawn to its sporty look, with its red exterior and black leather interior. The ride quality is very similar to that of the ES 350 I had, and it's incredibly quiet. You can hear the CVT under acceleration, but it quickly quiets down once you reach your desired speed. On my first tank of gas, the car's computer indicated that I got 44mpg, which included some interstate driving. Currently, it shows 46.5 mpg, and I'll do an actual check on my next fill-up. I highly recommend taking one for a test drive - it would make a great entry-level Lexus or second vehicle.

I love this car! It's a win-win all the way. Although I had to get used to a smaller car as I previously owned an SUV, I got over it pretty fast. It feels very luxurious, is quiet, has enough power, and is definitely cute.

This car is truly a gas sipper! On my first tank of gas, I am averaging 44.1 mpg, even with mostly city driving. The ride is typical Lexus - extremely smooth and quiet. Contrary to some expert reviews, I find the interior features to be conveniently placed and easy to use. The navigation system is very hi-tech, with current weather, XM sports team features, stocks, and more. However, unlike my Acura TL, Lexus does not allow the driver or passenger to input destinations while the car is in motion. The hands-free Bluetooth for use with iPod or phone is seamless, and the backup camera allows you to get within inches of an object. Overall, Lexus did a great job!
