You were lucky to find a 2012 fully loaded car with only 6k miles on it for $26k. It's great to hear that you love this car! Although you mentioned that you have a lead foot, you're still getting 37 to 40mpg, which is impressive. I understand that living in San Diego with hills everywhere can affect the mileage, but it's good to know that you still enjoy the handling. This car is the perfect combination of sporty, economical, practical, and fun, and it definitely beats the competition of other hybrids in the $28-35k range!!

I just bought this car a couple weeks ago. The mileage is amazing! I am getting about 44-45 MPG, which is even better than I expected. The car drives nicely and hugs the road tightly, making me feel in good control. It's sporty and fun, and the interior looks like it's from a technologically advanced car. The use of space is very good. The only thing that could be better is if they made the same car in a larger version.

I've never driven a hybrid before, but I have owned a Lexus before. In my previous 2008 IS250, if you touched the gas, it would jump, it was quick off the line. However, I only got 20 mpg. You don't buy a CT200h for power, but this car eases into speed from a stop, hence the excellent gas mileage. What no critic that I've read has revealed or maybe didn't notice, is that once you get up to speed, even 30-40 mph, especially in 'sport' mode, the car responds and accelerates surprisingly well. As well as my old 200 hp IS250. If I need to pass a car on the highway, and go from 50 to 65, this car moves well. It feels more like 200hp when you're accelerating at speed. Not to mention the comfort and handling. Overall, I would give this car an A+.

This car falls into the latter category, which is not a bad thing. Compared to the MB CLA, BMW 320i, and Audi A3, the CT may not stand out, but it will far outlast any of those three in terms of reliability and lower maintenance costs. Its interior is well laid out, and it boasts the greatest front seats in the business. The media system is simple to use (which is not always the case in cars these days), and the premium audio system is pretty good for a non-branded setup. The Bluetooth streaming is of very high quality, and the interior materials are good for the category, with soft touch materials where it counts. The ride (I have the F-Sport with the firmer suspension) is a little harsh but never brittle. It's a controlled tightness that allows bumps into the cabin but takes the edge off each time. As an added plus, the CT can be had for thousands below sticker due to its lower demand, a benefit often overlooked in car reviews. If there's one big drawback to the car, it's the speed, or lack thereof. This is a slow car, no two ways about it, and it doesn't want to be rushed. Thankfully, the engine is well isolated, so you won't feel like you're in an economy car when entering the freeway. Luckily, speed is the CT's only dynamic downfall. In the hills, this little hatch can hold its own when the going gets twisty. The steering is numb but razor-sharp and laser-precise. The suspension has hardly any role either. The Sport Mode doesn't make the car any faster, but rather sharpens throttle response and weights up the steering for a sporty feel, useful for freeway or canyon use. Power issues aside, the CT never feels like a detached, isolation-pod hybrid whose only purpose is to suck the joy out of its owners in exchange for better savings at the pump.The CT200h is a great car for anyone looking for reliable entry-luxury transportation in the city. While it may not have the flashiness of its German counterparts, it is more practical and logical for long-term ownership. Additionally, it consistently achieves near its EPA ratings for MPG, and with careful driving, can yield up to 48 MPG (I've personally never gone below 44 MPG).

Hi there! I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to share my experience with my CT so far. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and have only driven less than 1000 miles. Despite that, I've already fueled up twice and both times I was able to achieve between 49 and 50 miles per gallon! This is definitely above the mpg on the sticker. I've noticed that there are a plethora of CT drivers out there, some getting below 40mpg while others are getting over 50mpg. It all depends on how you drive the car. If you're looking for good mpg, it won't out run any car on the road, so be prepared to pull to the right, slowly get up to speed, and let the traffic pass you by. Personally, I'm okay with that. I'd like to start off by saying that the ct200h f sport is a decent car, but it may not be the most comfortable option, especially for long drives. It might be best to avoid the F-sport version as the bucket seat design doesn't offer much support, despite having built-in lumbar support. Unfortunately, I've had some trouble getting support from Lexus themselves after highlighting this issue, as they've given me conflicting information. Both a physio and an occupational health advisor have confirmed that the seat is causing my back problems, which is surprising as I've never had any issues with the seats of other cars I've driven long distances, such as Audi, BMW, Ford, or Peugeot. I didn't have any problems with the regular ct200h seat, so I'm curious to know if anyone else has had similar issues with the f-sport version?

I absolutely adore my Lexus! I've had it for nearly two years now and it's still giving me great mileage. Not only is it a blast to drive, but it handles urban driving with ease. One thing I didn't consider when purchasing it, however, was how low to the ground it is. While it's easy for the driver to get in and out, passengers often need to be let out away from the curb. Unfortunately, I've been experiencing some issues with my tires losing air pressure due to corrosion on the chrome wheels. I've had to reseal two wheels already. Has anyone else had this problem? I would love to hear your thoughts!

This car may not be for everyone, but I can confidently say that it has some impressive features. The MPG is excellent, exceeding expectations, and the front seats are very comfortable. Additionally, the exterior design is quite attractive. While there are some trade-offs with a hybrid, the Sport mode offers better performance and the car's fuel efficiency is a major plus. Although the ride can be harsh and the back seat is cramped, these are minor issues compared to the car's overall benefits. I recommend taking a serious test drive before making a decision, but I am confident that this car has a lot to offer.

I hope you're doing well! I wanted to share my experience with my vehicle. I purchased it with 70000 miles on it and have been taking great care of it by replacing the spark plugs, intake air filter, and doing Toyota 0-20 oil changes every 7k miles. Unfortunately, my car started misfiring and I didn't feel safe driving it. After some research, I discovered that carbon build-up is a common issue with Toyota/Lexus vehicles. I found a helpful DIY EGR cleaning video on YouTube and decided to give it a try. It was a bit challenging due to all the tight spots, but after about 4 hours, my car was running normally again! I've noticed that many Toyota/Lexus owners have experienced similar issues with carbon build-up. In December 2017, I had to have an engine rebuild at the dealership because the block was warped. Unfortunately, the engine is shaking at start-up again and I've brought this issue up with the dealer, but it's still pending. Overall, I'm not too impressed with Lexus.
