When I was looking for a car, I wanted something that was both stylish and technologically advanced, while also being fuel-efficient for my commutes in the New England area. Although I was initially concerned that the 2014 F-Sport edition in Ultrasonic Blue wouldn't be as fast as my G35 coupe or RX350 SUV, I was pleasantly surprised by its performance. With over 40mpg combined, it's a great choice for anyone looking to save on fuel costs. Plus, it's 100% Made in Japan, which I believe is a testament to the superior quality of Japanese products. While the price tag for a hybrid may be steep, I think it's worth it for the unique features and style of the F-Sport CT. It's also a rare find on the road, making it all the more special.

This is my 3rd review of the car (Look for older ones for more info). The most important thing people look for in this car is gas mileage. I'm happy to report that we've put 76k on the clock and we are beating EPA rated numbers. We do more highway driving than city, which according to official numbers should be the lower number. Our lifetime average up to 58k was 43.7mpg. Then I reset it because I finally bought a winter tire set and new OEM set, we are at 76k now (18k since reset) and the average is 44mpg and rising. As I mentioned in previous reviews, warmer season mpg will be in the 45+ range, it will drop to 40+ during cold months. If you aren't a spirited driver, you will most likely beat EPA estimates. I doubt racers will be buying this car anyway. With that said, the car handles really well. I always try to steal it from my wife on weekends to drive around and enjoy well-handling cars (I am left with a minivan for my 2-mile commute to the train station and that's not fun to drive). I would say that about every big vehicle on the road, by the way. The CT just feels like a road hugger, only lacking acceleration and a stick shift. The second big thing (technically third since I mentioned handling) is that the car has been as reliable as it can get. We have had no issues whatsoever. We will be driving this thing until it goes because that's where owning a Toyota/Lexus product is the greatest advantage. Their cars are rock solid in reliability and can go long miles. One more thing, we are still on the original brake set @76k...wow! I may need to get a Focus ST as a third car as I am dying to have a stick shifter and a car that speeds up a bit faster, but that's more of a weekend car wish than an everyday driver. Back to hybrids, there has been a wave of improved hybrids that hit the market since we bought the CT, so choices are better today than in 2012/2013. And despite popular hate on diesels, I love them. Check out the BMW 535d (started in 2014) if you can afford it.

I test drove several small to mid-sized sedans, including the Buick (which had a tacky interior), Mercedes (which had poor gas mileage), Mini-Cooper (which was too small), and Mazda3 (which had a good hatchback). Ultimately, I chose this vehicle because of its stylish interior, comfortable ride, small size (perfect for city parking), and great gas mileage. I use it for both city driving and a long weekly commute, switching between sport mode for city driving and fuel sipping mode on the highway. It's incredibly comfortable on long drives and handles well in the city. Overall, it's the perfect car for my needs and I'm very happy with it. Plus, the difference between sport and fuel sipping mode is truly remarkable. And despite its small size, it feels very spacious and comfortable behind the wheel.

I think this car is actually pretty fast and safe to drive. I have never had any issues passing other cars or driving at high speeds on the highway. It's a reliable car with comfortable seats and a nice view. While it may not be the best car for racing, it handles great and I have never had any issues driving it. I bought it at the dealership 2 years ago with 60k miles and have only had to replace the tires and windshield. Even after 60k miles, it still drives like it did when I first bought it. It also has great gas mileage and is very reliable. Based on my experience with this car, I would definitely consider buying another Lexus in the future.

This car may not be the most luxurious Lexus you can buy, but it certainly turns heads. I was out on the town a few nights ago with all windows down, and heard multiple people on the sidewalk exclaiming 'that car is so cute!' The CT200h is a slightly rare car, so this is to be expected. While the car may not be designed to go fast, it has a reliable Toyota Atkinson cycle hybrid synergy drive engine, so I expect it to be dependable. Another really good thing about this car is the suspension. It feels really good, and the steering is tight on windy roads. Compared to the Audi A3 or Acura ILX, the CT is way better. Lastly, the optional Pop up SatNav is sleek, elegant, and easy to use with the remote touch controller. The caramel interior is beautiful and unexpected in a car at this price range. Overall, it's an excellent buy.

I'd like to start off by saying that the ct200h f sport is a decent car, but it may not be the most comfortable option, especially for long drives. It might be best to avoid the F-sport version as the bucket seat design doesn't offer much support, despite having built-in lumbar support. Unfortunately, I've had some trouble getting support from Lexus themselves after highlighting this issue, as they've given me conflicting information. Both a physio and an occupational health advisor have confirmed that the seat is causing my back problems, which is surprising as I've never had any issues with the seats of other cars I've driven long distances, such as Audi, BMW, Ford, or Peugeot. I didn't have any problems with the regular ct200h seat, so I'm curious to know if anyone else has had similar issues with the f-sport version?

I absolutely adore my Lexus! I've had it for nearly two years now and it's still giving me great mileage. Not only is it a blast to drive, but it handles urban driving with ease. One thing I didn't consider when purchasing it, however, was how low to the ground it is. While it's easy for the driver to get in and out, passengers often need to be let out away from the curb. Unfortunately, I've been experiencing some issues with my tires losing air pressure due to corrosion on the chrome wheels. I've had to reseal two wheels already. Has anyone else had this problem? I would love to hear your thoughts!

This car may not be for everyone, but I can confidently say that it has some impressive features. The MPG is excellent, exceeding expectations, and the front seats are very comfortable. Additionally, the exterior design is quite attractive. While there are some trade-offs with a hybrid, the Sport mode offers better performance and the car's fuel efficiency is a major plus. Although the ride can be harsh and the back seat is cramped, these are minor issues compared to the car's overall benefits. I recommend taking a serious test drive before making a decision, but I am confident that this car has a lot to offer.

I hope you're doing well! I wanted to share my experience with my vehicle. I purchased it with 70000 miles on it and have been taking great care of it by replacing the spark plugs, intake air filter, and doing Toyota 0-20 oil changes every 7k miles. Unfortunately, my car started misfiring and I didn't feel safe driving it. After some research, I discovered that carbon build-up is a common issue with Toyota/Lexus vehicles. I found a helpful DIY EGR cleaning video on YouTube and decided to give it a try. It was a bit challenging due to all the tight spots, but after about 4 hours, my car was running normally again! I've noticed that many Toyota/Lexus owners have experienced similar issues with carbon build-up. In December 2017, I had to have an engine rebuild at the dealership because the block was warped. Unfortunately, the engine is shaking at start-up again and I've brought this issue up with the dealer, but it's still pending. Overall, I'm not too impressed with Lexus. Let me know if you've had any similar experiences!

I can't believe I need a head gasket at 170k. I changed the oil religiously. After looking on the web, it appears that this is a common occurrence with this engine.
