I love this car! It has the Toyota reliability and the luxurious feel of a Lexus. I did a lot of research online and found that this was the perfect car for me. Although I was looking for a sporty and economical commuter car, the Lexus CPO warranty was the deciding factor for me. The hatchback feature is great, although the storage area is a bit small. The estimated mpg is fantastic and the interior features and accessories are exactly what you would expect from a Lexus. I test drove both the 200h and the 300h, but ended up choosing the 300h for the extra luxury and comfort on my 100 mile/day commute. The only downside is that the back seat and leg room are quite small, so it may not be the most comfortable for larger kids or adults, but it's perfect for an infant in a car seat or a small child.

In August 2014, I purchased a brand new Lexus Ct200h and absolutely loved it. However, in January, I started hearing crackling and rattling noises coming from the dashboard. Despite several visits to the dealership, the issue persisted and I was eventually informed that the rattling is a 'normal characteristic' of the car. I have documentation that suggests the cold weather may be a contributing factor to the sound. I am currently in the first step of the Lexus arbitration process and am hoping for a positive outcome. It is disappointing to experience such issues with a luxury car, and I believe that no one should have to accept rattling in a brand new vehicle.

The car handles well, and it is beautifully designed. However, I found the Navigation system in my 2012 4Runner easier to use and with more options. Additionally, the mouse is more distracting than the touch screen. I also found it odd that there are no cup holders in the back. Overall, it's a luxury vehicle for a good buy, but I doubt I would purchase another. I may be moving on to BMW in a few years.

The MPG on my CT200h is 35, at best, which is slightly lower than the book's estimate of 40. While the leatherette interior may feel a bit cheap to the touch, it looks great. The car can feel a bit claustrophobic, even for someone of my size (5'7'' and 130lb), but overall it's a fun and enjoyable driving experience with a solid feel and good control.
