Designed by Richard Woolley, the marque's first complete concept car sported split-folding gullwing doors, one-piece skeletal seats, a "clamshell" bonnet, 22 inch alloys, a 289 km/h (180 mph) top speed, 4WD and a 2,500 kg (5,512 lb) weight. The Range Rover Sport was comparably of much more conservative design featuring five doors and a wheelbase hardly shorter than that of the Range Rover Vogue.
A replica of the Stormer was built by West Coast Customs of Corona, CA for Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, on the occasion of opening West Coast Customs Dubai; the car is currently registered under the Dubai Traffic And Road Authority.
The Range Stormer is now on display at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, Warwickshire, UK.

- Summary: I have tried making multiple appointments at the dealership in mobile alabama to get this recall taken care of after 2 attempts I took it to the Nashville dealership. The first attempt in mobile I called before driving over an hour away to the appointment and they didn't have the appointment on there schedule when I had scheduled over a month in advance and the second time I called and they did not having parts in stock even though I made an appointment. I took it to Nashville dropped it off for 5 days while visiting when I came back the recall for the fuel tank still had not been done nor was I notified as to why. They did another recall and it was supposed to be finished by 8am the day I picked it up I wasn't able to leave the dealership until around 3pm due to their negligence and miscommunication still without the recall I brought it in for completed. Now there is a fuel smell and I now have tried making an appointment again with the mobile alabama dealership and they want me to leave it there for days to be completed and suggested I rent a car because they cannot loan a vehicle when this recall is only supposed to take a day.

I told them about upcoming gas leak recall and they told me they couldn't help me before official recall announcement. - Summary: Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2010-2013 Range Rover Sport and 2010-2016 LR4 vehicles equipped with 3.0L V6 or 5.0L V8 engines. The fuel outlet flange mounted on the fuel tank may crack, possibly resulting in a fuel leak.
- Consequence: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
- Remedy: Dealers will replace the fuel outlet flange, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters were mailed October 7, 2021. Owner notification letters were mailed May 11, 2022. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is N623.

- Summary: Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2010-2011 Range Rover Sport vehicles. The upper cover on the rear spoiler may detach from the vehicle.
- Consequence: If the spoiler detaches while driving, it can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the spoiler assembly. If the spoiler has not delaminated, a new adhesive will be applied to fully secure the upper spoiler cover. If the outer surface of the rear spoiler has detached, been lost or damaged, a new spoiler will be installed. The repairs will be performed free of charge. I got my car back in November 2009, but I wanted to wait until now to write a review because I really wanted to experience it fully. I have to say, it has been an absolute joy to own and drive. Everywhere I go, heads turn and people ask me about it. I haven't seen many of them on the road yet, which makes it feel even more special. After taking a 500 mile trip, I didn't experience any body aches or soreness, which was great. I just wanted to keep driving for the sheer joy of it. I haven't experienced any of the difficulties that some of the other reviewers have described. Mine is a stornoway gray with almond interior and luxury package, and I have to say, the sound system is fantastic. In fact, it's even better than the Bose system I had in my previous luxury SUV. The only thing I would change is to add more wood grain to the interior and get rid of the refrigerator.

I picked up my car in July and I absolutely love the interior! Although, I do agree that the refrigerator needs to go. The supercharged engine provides an awesome driving experience. So far, I haven't experienced any faults with the car, but I did notice a defect in the wood grain that runs along the left of the center console. It's quite noticeable, but the dealer agreed to replace that part. My car is metallic black with black upgraded leather package seats and ebony stitching (piano black wood). I also added high quality suede to the headliner, which made a huge difference in the interior ambiance. Overall, I highly recommend this car to anyone. The Style 7 20'' wheels are a great addition to the ride!

I've always admired the RRS for its stunning appearance. Although I initially considered purchasing the 09 model, I ultimately decided against it due to its lack of up-to-date technology. Surprisingly, the RRS has made significant improvements in this area since then. While the exterior may not be drastically different from the previous model, I still find it to be beautiful. I'm excited to take it on a road trip to Tennessee for Thanksgiving and I'm confident it will be a smooth and enjoyable ride, based on my experience driving it around town so far.

After just two weeks of having the car, the driver's seat stopped moving forward and backward. Unfortunately, my wife was unable to drive it as the seat was stuck too far back for her to reach the pedals. I took it to the dealer and they ordered a new motor, which was installed a couple of weeks later. However, the driver's seat still didn't work. LR service then informed me that it might be a programming issue. Although they were initially puzzled on how to resolve the issue, they kept my car for two weeks and eventually fixed the problem. Despite the initial setback, I'm glad to have a reliable car now.

This SUV has had some issues, including locking my wife out three times, turn signals and mirrors not working properly, no air conditioning, navigation or radio, and spending over 20 days in the shop in less than 5000 miles. Additionally, the windows don't always close and there have been instances where the 'smart key' takes up to 30 minutes to be found, preventing the car from starting and causing the alarm to sound.
