2015 Land rover Range rover sport problems
The Land Rover Range Rover Sport, generally known as the Range Rover Sport, is a mid-size luxury SUV produced under their Land Rover marque, from the British manufacturer Land Rover, and later Jaguar Land Rover. The first generation (codename: L320) started production in 2005, and was replaced by the second generation Sport (codename: L494) in 2013, replaced by the third generation Sport (codename: L461) in 2022.
Range Stormer concept
The Range Rover Sport was prefigured by the Range Stormer concept car, introduced at the 2004 North American International Auto Show.
This was a low-slung, short wheelbase 3-door coupé that was unusually "sporty" in the context of Land Rover's history. Designed by Richard Woolley, the marque's first complete concept car sported split-folding gullwing doors, one-piece skeletal seats, a "clamshell" bonnet, 22 inch alloys, a 289 km/h (180 mph) top speed, 4WD and a 2,500 kg (5,512 lb) weight. The Range Rover Sport was comparably of much more conservative design featuring five doors and a wheelbase hardly shorter than that of the Range Rover Vogue.
A replica of the Stormer was built by West Coast Customs of Corona, CA for Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, on the occasion of opening West Coast Customs Dubai; the car is currently registered under the Dubai Traffic And Road Authority.
The Range Stormer is now on display at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, Warwickshire, UK.

Common 2015 Land rover Range rover sport problems
The Land Rover Range Rover Sport 2015 is a luxury SUV known for its appealing exterior design, but it has been criticized for subpar quality, particularly in relation to its price point. Many owners have reported various issues, including electrical malfunctions, engine problems, and suspension faults.
Electrical malfunctions are a common complaint among Range Rover Sport 2015 owners. These issues can range from minor inconveniences, such as malfunctioning interior lights, to more serious problems, like a failed water pump, which can result in significant repair costs.
Engine problems are another area of concern for the Range Rover Sport 2015. The 2.0 Ingenium Diesel engine, in particular, is prone to timing chain failure, which can lead to engine damage and require extensive repairs.
Suspension faults are a common issue with the Range Rover Sport 2015, particularly the air suspension system. This system is complex and prone to faults, which can manifest as a yellow or red light on the dashboard, indicating a problem with the suspension.
Front suspension arms are another frequent issue with the Range Rover Sport 2015. The front lower suspension arms, in particular, are prone to wear and may require replacement, especially if there is excess play in the lower suspension bushes during an MOT test.
Brake discs and pads on the Range Rover Sport 2015 are known to wear quickly due to the vehicle's high power and weight. If low pads are spotted early, before any damage is caused to the discs, only the pads may need to be replaced. However, if damage has occurred, both the pads and discs will need to be replaced.
In summary, the Land Rover Range Rover Sport 2015 has several common problems, including electrical malfunctions, engine issues, and suspension faults. These problems can lead to significant repair costs and negatively impact the vehicle's overall reliability and performance. Potential buyers should be aware of these issues and consider the potential costs and inconveniences associated with owning a Range Rover Sport 2015.

I bought my 2015 RRS Supercharged after having some issues with my 03' Range Rover. Although I was hesitant to buy another RR after my previous experience, I decided to purchase the warranty (which was well worth it) to provide some peace of mind. This SUV is an absolute beast! As you can see, I have the 5.0 Supercharged V8. The acceleration puts a smile on my face every time I step on the gas pedal. Sometimes, my son's friends are in the car and they beg me to step on it for the feeling you get in your stomach. It's absolutely crazy! The seats are very comfortable and the heated/cooled seats are amazing. My two main areas of improvement for this car are the navigation system and the brake dive. The navigation has almost caused me to be late for work on multiple occasions (I'm a sales executive for Hilton and work all over Los Angeles and San Diego). It constantly leads me to dead ends and the wrong locations. The brake dive can also be quite uncomfortable. The car lurches forward when you slam the brake pedal down, which can be a bit unsettling. However, these are my only two complaints about my car. I cannot complain about gas mileage as it's a supercharged 5.0 litre V8, and I have a lead foot, haha. I get compliments on it everywhere I go and it's truly cool to have that when you're just casually filling up on gas. I love my car and do not regret buying it.

I have owned two Rangys and I am considering buying my third. Range Rovers are the coolest looking cars and are amazing in the snow. I love the horsepower, big gas tank, premium sound system, and the fact that the back seats fold flat, providing huge and flat cargo space without any seat bumps. However, I would advise not owning one unless you have a warranty or extended warranty. I had to spend well over $20,000 on my second one, including a new engine, and was out of a car for a year due to waiting on parts. Additionally, the upkeep and maintenance is more expensive than most cars and needs to be done more frequently. My advice is to buy a Rangy only if you don't mind spending some money on your vehicle. If you can't or don't want to spend at least $1000 each time you take your car in, don't want to wait for parts longer than normal, don't want to pay for top insurance and $200 a month for extended warranty, then either buy a new Rangy under factory warranty or don't buy one. I knew what I was getting into and I'm okay with it. I still love Rangy more than anything, but she isn't for the faintest of hearts and she will cost you a pretty penny. However, if you pick the right one, she's worth every penny. I love you Rangy, and I wish you were more reliable and long-lasting with better value holding. I think German cars are luxurious, powerful, good-looking, and comfortable, but I wish they had Toyota's reliability, value holding, and lower maintenance qualities.

I just received my Land Rover and it's my first one. My initial impression is that it's an absolute rocket! The handling and acceleration are excellent, and it handles at least as well as my previous five series while being considerably faster. The interior materials are top-notch. However, I do feel that the electronics could be improved for a vehicle in this price range. The Meridian upgrade is pretty nice, but I haven't used the vehicle enough to determine whether the navigation and other Bluetooth and iPod controls are good or bad. I will post a follow-up after some time of ownership. The dealership experience at Rahal Land Rover was great, and I cannot speak to the value or reliability of the truck since I've only had it for one day.

I had two full size Range Rovers before this “sport.” I really like it, although I do miss having a tailgate.

I see that you have 110k miles on your HSE and it's great to hear that it has been nearly flawless except for routine maintenance. I understand that you need to resign the coolant crossover pipe, which seems to be a real issue. It's impressive that you plan to go $250k or further with your vehicle!

I really enjoy cars and have owned some nice ones in the past. My grandfather used to own the British Leland franchise in Victoria, Australia, so I have a particular fondness for Rover. However, I had some unfortunate experiences with Land Rover, specifically with an LR4 and a Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged Dynamic, which led me to completely divorce myself from the brand. Here's a summary of the main issues I had with the RRS: Firstly, the car is incredibly fast, but unfortunately, it's also quite scary to drive at high speeds. I never felt confident that I could turn, swerve or brake quickly if needed, which caused me a lot of anxiety during daily driving. Secondly, the build quality of the car is not up to par with its price point. My vehicle rattled in multiple places, including the glove box, center console, driver and passenger seats, A pillar of the driver door, and even the ceiling. The premium stereo also caused a lot of rattling, which was quite disappointing. Thirdly, the brakes squeaked from the day I bought the car and continued to do so even after changing the brake pads. For a vehicle that costs nearly $100K, this was quite embarrassing. Lastly, the service experience at Land Rover Seattle was horrible. I had numerous issues with the car, but they were never properly addressed by the service team. Overall, I would not recommend the RRS or Land Rover based on my experiences.I had some issues that I brought up at multiple meetings, but unfortunately, I never received the promised follow-up. However, I must say that the staff was always pleasant. As a customer who purchased both a $70K and a $95K+ vehicle from the same dealership, I expected exceptional loyalty and customer service in return, but unfortunately, that did not happen. As a result, I decided to sell both my Rovers in the same month, which resulted in a massive loss on the RRS. I then decided to purchase a Model S Tesla, and I must say that every issue I had pointed out is no longer an issue. I am extremely satisfied with my Tesla and will never own another vehicle but a Tesla.

In my opinion, the Range Rover Sport may be a bit overpriced for a V6 engine, but it certainly has its charms. While the interior layout could use some improvement, and the GPS and entertainment system may not be the most intuitive out there, it still has a lot to offer. However, it is worth noting that the GPS system may be difficult to read in direct sunlight. Additionally, the SUV's tires only offer about 3/16 to 1/4
