My son has a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe with the same problem. The first time it happened was on an isolated road at 10:30 PM. I pulled over, not understanding what was occurring. - Summary: Rear camera stopped working. Normally when car was put in Reverse the rearview camera would show you what is behing your car. This camera stopped working in this car. When in reverse a red triangke pops uo indicating some type of malfunction and a red circle with a camera inside with a line going across indicatimg there in no camera. It was working the day before fine and it just stopped working the next day. There is no physical damage to camera or car in general.

The instrument panel may not illuminate when the hazard warning lights, high beams, or turn signals are activated. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 101, "Controls and Displays" and 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Assoc. Equipment."
- Consequence: Without the illuminated reminder, the driver could fail to turn off the lights when no longer needed. Hazard warning lights, high beams, or turn signals that remain activated unintentionally can confuse other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: Dealers will update the instrument panel software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 13, 2024. Owners may contact Cadillac's customer service at 1-800-458-8006. GM's number for this recall is N242447940.

- Summary: General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2023 GMC Acadia and 2024 Cadilac XT5 and XT6 vehicles. The windshield may have been assembled without the proper urethane sealant required to bond the windshield to the vehicle body.
- Consequence: A windshield that is not properly bonded may detach during a crash and increase the risk of injury.
- Remedy: Dealers will inspect the windshield and apply primer and urethane sealant. If the windshield is damaged, the dealer will replace it. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 14, 2023. Owners may contact Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006 or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. The looks and quiet ride, along with easy access for six adults, are definite pluses. With the far rear back seats down, there is plenty of room to carry larger loads when needed.

I've owned a Toyota 4Runner, a Highlander, and a Honda CRV in the past. This is my first time purchasing a US brand SUV, and I have to admit, I was a bit nervous about it. However, after a year of driving our Cadillac, we couldn't be happier with our decision. The car is absolutely stunning, and after taking it on five road trips, we are thrilled with the ride, comfort, and gas mileage. I particularly enjoy the Navi system and steering controls. Although, I do have a small suggestion for Cadillac - I find the manual overdrive controls on the steering wheel a bit inconvenient as the buttons stick out at the 10 and 2 positions, causing me to accidentally change gears. Other than that minor issue, I absolutely love my car!

You'll enjoy a quiet and comfortable ride with this vehicle, and it can reach speeds of 24-28 mph on the highway even when using the cheapest gas available. Additionally, it offers plenty of room and great handling.

Perfect size, not too big, not too small, roomy but not overwhelming. The handling is very responsive and the engine transmission coordination is smooth. The front end styling is beautiful and the side and rear looks are crisp. We are really enjoying driving it and the more we drive it, the more we like it. We are also pleased to report that we are getting over 27mpg on the road. It is a very comfortable car that still offers nice handling and performance.

The valve body failed within a month of owning my vehicle. Despite the inconvenience, I am confident that the issue will be resolved soon. The dealership has ordered a new transmission and is working to find a company to produce the valve body, which is currently not in production due to GM negotiations. While I have not been able to drive my car for a month, I trust that the dealership will provide a solution in a timely manner. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

As a loyal owner of GM cars, I am disappointed with my experience with the XT6. There have been several issues during my 4-month ownership, including bad assembly quality, design failure, and buggy software. These issues have included rattling noise from the roof, a loose part in the head control box, an ugly alignment between the right doors, difficulty seeing through the rear view mirror monitor in rainy weather, car central control screen crashes and restarts, lots of collision false alarms, pedestrian detection when no one is around, auto braking when turning left but another car is in the other lane on the right, a notification email about low tire pressure when all pressure readings are above 35psi, and the back trunk door stopping in the middle while closing. Despite these issues, I remain confident in GM's ability to address these concerns and provide a satisfactory ownership experience in the future.
