Overview
The XT6 (short for Crossover Touring 6) is Cadillac’s third crossover SUV, and the largest in Cadillac's XT series, slotted between the XT5 and the full size SUV Escalade. The XT6 is produced at GM's Spring Hill, Tennessee plant, while the Chinese-market XT6 is manufactured in Shanghai by SAIC-GM. The XT6 went on sale in Russia in February 2020. It also went on sale in Japan in early 2020 with one trim level, six-passenger seating, and left hand drive configuration.
While it serves as the high luxury counterpart to the mid-size 3-row Chevrolet Traverse and Buick Enclave in the crossover SUV segment, the XT6 shares its wheelbase with the mid-size GMC Acadia, Cadillac XT5, and the Chinese version of the Chevrolet Blazer. Cadillac describes the XT6 as a “mid-size plus” vehicle as they see the XT5 as their primary mid-size CUV.

It seems to be a complete failure of the fuel system on a 2021 model with under 27,000 miles

- Summary: While driving the dashboard screen goes blank including the radio. If using adaptive cruise control it also shuts off. After five or six minutes the cadillac symbol will appear on the radio screen and the dashboard screen will begin to sign back on. You must reset the cruise control. Everything on the dash is black including the speedometer and gages. This has occurred numerous times and the dealer informed me that there is no recall and no solution to the problem. My son has a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe with the same problem. The first time it happened was on an isolated road at 10:30 PM. I pulled over, not understanding what was occurring. I consider this dangerous not know what’s going on how long if will last

- Summary: Rear camera stopped working. Normally when car was put in Reverse the rearview camera would show you what is behing your car. This camera stopped working in this car. When in reverse a red triangke pops uo indicating some type of malfunction and a red circle with a camera inside with a line going across indicatimg there in no camera. It was working the day before fine and it just stopped working the next day. There is no physical damage to camera or car in general.

I've had this car for about a month and have already put 1,000 miles on it. The highway mileage is over 25mpg and the city mileage is close to 19mpg, which is great. The fit and finish are superb, and there are lots of options to choose from. The interior is very quiet, even at highway speeds, and it rides smoothly over road imperfections. My wife and I both love this car. We bought it for a little over $43k, which is a great deal considering it had a $72.5k sticker when new. Overall, it's a very solid vehicle.

I hope you're doing well! I wanted to share my experience with the 2020 XT6 Platinum since 12/20 with the 3.6L V6. I only drive 8K-9K miles a year in a metropolitan environment but I have needed to change the full synthetic Dexos oil every 4-5 months. When I asked the service reps about this, they just smiled and said that his wife's XT5 has the same issue. Along with this and the bubbled dash, busted seam on the driver's seat and recalls; I have become very well known at two of our local Cadillac service departments in the Bay Area. They know me by face recognition. Despite these issues, the SUV has been comfortable, safe and quiet. Although, when I needed to accelerate, the engine howls loudly but nothing really happens for a good 1-2 seconds. You would expect the car to launch like a warplane at the growl of this unrefined engine. I hope this helps!
