2022 Volvo S60 problems
The Volvo S60 is a compact executive car manufactured and marketed by Volvo since 2000.
The first generation (2000–2009) was launched in autumn of 2000 in order to replace the S70 and was based on the P2 platform. It had a similar designed estate version called Volvo V70 and a high performance engine and sports-oriented suspension version called S60 R. Styling cues were taken from the ECC concept car and the S80.
The second generation (2010–2018) was released in 2010 for the 2011 model year and has its own estate version, known as the Volvo V60.
The third generation joined the Volvo line-up in 2018 for the 2019 model year. It is built on a shortened version of the Scalable Product Architecture platform, in America's first Volvo factory in Ridgeville, South Carolina. The US became the sole global source of the S60 sedan after production in China was phased out in early 2019.

The transmission may shift roughly or hesitate, causing the vehicle to jerk or shudder. In conclusion, the 2022 Volvo S60 has several common problems related to engine, fuel system, electrical, brakes, and drivetrain issues. While these issues can affect the performance and safety of the vehicle, dealers are offering free repairs and updates to resolve the problems. This is my second Volvo. It's such an impressive car, isn't it? I think it's a great vehicle.

I have a S60 Recharge with 5124 miles and I absolutely love it! The driving experience is amazing and I'm a big fan of the Volvo interior fit and finish. The Sensus interface is also very user-friendly. It's a great car!

I leased my 2020 S60 and later bought the lease out in September 2023. Although I absolutely love my car and it has saved my life and prevented accidents several times, I didn't consider the cost of average maintenance. Unfortunately, oil changes can cost a few hundred dollars, brakes over $1,000, and a battery change around $600, not to mention the constant system updates. While I adore my car, it's just too expensive for me to maintain personally.

Beautiful color combination of blue denim blue metallic with blonde charcoal interior. I've had the car for a week and I'm absolutely loving it, still learning! It's super fast!
-
I find the ride, looks, and power of this vehicle to be exceptional. While the front seat may be slightly firm, it still provides a comfortable experience overall.

It's really frustrating to experience steering issues and vibrations, especially when it seems like the drive shafts are to blame. It's even more frustrating when you've gone through multiple sets of tires and still can't seem to get to the bottom of the problem. It's understandable to feel let down by the situation, but let's try to stay positive and find a solution together. We can work with Volvo to find a resolution that works for everyone.

My 2021 car has been experiencing problems since just two weeks after purchase, with condensation appearing in the headlamps. Despite the condensation not meeting Volvo's replacement standards, the issue continues to occur intermittently. Unfortunately, the issues have persisted, including problems with the anti-collision system activating without reason, not receiving service notifications, fob syncing issues, Car Play not functioning, and seat memory not storing. These issues have resulted in numerous visits to the dealership and a total cost of $42,000. However, I remain confident in my decision to purchase this car and believe that these issues can be resolved.
