My car simply stalled while driving on a main busy street. Fortunately, it was on a holiday (Feb 21, 2022) and there were no school crossings on this day!. I was shaken up, anxious. There was a nearby (with in a quarter mile or so) an independent auto repair/service shop and I was able to have them fix the issue. I feel this is a safety issue, as this could have been worse, and stalled while driving on the freeway. I will be writing to the manufacturer to inform them what has happened. THE INTELLIGENT POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE (IPDM) ASSEMBLY CONTAINS AN ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) RELAY THAT HAS A DIODE FOR ELECTRICAL CURRENT NOISE REDUCTION. THE ECM RELAY MAY ALLOW SILICON VAPOR TO FORM AND, OVER TIME, THE SILICON EVAPORATES FROM THE DIODE MOLDING WHICH CAUSES SILICON OXIDE TO DEVELOP ON THE ECM RELAY CONTACT DUE TO ARCING.
- Consequence: THIS COULD CAUSE ENGINE STALLING INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

I've only had my Xterra for a few days, but I already love it! It's so much fun to drive, and it has great acceleration. The interior is roomy, and there are lots of great places to hook stuff, as well as plenty of storage space. The only downside I've noticed is that it can be a bit difficult for someone to get out of the back seat, as it's a bit narrow. However, I really appreciate the hard plastic on the inside, as it's easy to clean. I'm still getting used to the feel of the steering wheel, but overall, I have no complaints. I would definitely recommend this SUV to anyone! On my first tank of gas, I got 19 mpg in town, which is great. Plus, the stereo system is awesome, and I love the roof rack and first aid kit.

I purchased the Nissan Xterra X because I wanted a reliable vehicle that would last me. I was previously driving a Trailblazer, but I decided to switch to the Xterra to save on my monthly payment. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I love the Xterra even more than the Trailblazer! It's the perfect vehicle for outdoor enthusiasts, whether you enjoy camping, biking, or have furry friends to bring along. It's also easy to maintain and has more power than I expected. The Xterra is incredibly comfortable and I haven't had any issues with it. I highly recommend taking one for a test drive to see if it's the right fit for you. Personally, I absolutely love mine and it's exactly what I was looking for.

I've been driving it for almost a month now and I must say, my love for this beauty grows deeper and deeper every day. The fast acceleration and high seat are just a few of the things that make this car so great. But what really makes me love it even more is the attention I get from other drivers and pedestrians. I can't quite figure out what they're thinking, but the fact that their heads turn in my direction is enough for me.

Nissan did an amazing job with the 2006 redesign, especially with the engine upgrade. The vehicle handles great on the road with a tight suspension, great pickup, and quick starts. It's also quiet on the highway and doesn't sacrifice offroad performance. This vehicle is perfect for around-town driving during the week and offroad trips on weekends. The design and interior are well thought-out, with racks from Yakima to handle whatever gear you may have, such as skis, surfboards, bikes, packs, or even your furry friend. The stereo sounds great, and the cab offers excellent 360 visibility. The vehicle comfortably seats four, except for the climb, and can change from 2 to 4-high to 4-low with a locking rear differential. It makes an excellent utility vehicle.

I have owned my Xterra for 10 years now, and I still love it just as much as when I first bought it! It's great for offroading, has easy steering, and is just plain awesome!

Hi there! I've been reading a lot of reviews from other people and it seems like the repairs on my XTerra are really starting to add up. I'm wondering if I should bite the bullet and shell out the money. They say I have a cracked radiator, which seems to be a common issue with this model. The power steering fluid leak will cost $1200 to replace the unit, and the dealership says it can leak into other areas of the car. I always thought brake rotors should never wear out, and now I'm having wheel bearing problems too. Several years ago, I paid to have the timing chain corrected. It's frustrating that all these things are happening, but I'm hoping to find a solution soon. Thanks for your help!
