- Summary: Toyota is recalling certain model year 2012 and 2013 Toyota Tacoma and Lexus RX350 vehicles and certain model year 2012 Toyota Rav4 vehicles. In the affected vehicles, the brake system contains a brake actuator that adjusts the fluid pressure of each wheel cylinder. An electrical component within the actuator may experience an increased resistance resulting in the illumination of various warning lights, including those for the Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) system, Antilock Brake System (ABS), and Traction Control system.
- Consequence: If this occurs, these systems could become inoperative, reducing the directional control assistance, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: Toyota will notify owners, and Toyota and Lexus dealers will update the software for the Skid Control electronic control unit, free of charge. The recall began on March 28, 2014. Owners may contact Toyota at 1-800-331-4331.

I really like the design of the car and the ride is very nice. Although it is a bit pricey, I think it's worth it. The only issue I've had is with the AM radio stations, which have a lot of static. I took the car to the dealer in West Kendall in Miami and was informed that Lexus is currently working on a fix for this problem. The Service and General Manager explained that this is a known issue with the RX and the ES models. The service department initially tried to close the ticket, but I insisted that the radio problem be clearly stated on the service ticket and treated as an open ticket. They promised to follow up with me as soon as a fix is available. I also reached out to Lexus headquarters to report the issue.

Hello! Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We purchased our 2013 RX350 as a certified vehicle with 27K miles in August of 2016 and it has been a wonderful companion ever since. The first owner took great care of it, evident from the sterling condition and impeccable service records. We have also taken great care of our silver AWD and it has been a perfect traveling companion for long trips, as well as in-town chores. It is completely loaded with all options and rides on Michelin tires for added smoothness and safety. We just got back from a 1K trip --- mostly freeway plus speeds ;) with 23.5 mpg. I'm 57 and truly believe this may be my last vehicle purchase as I don't think I can find anything better. As of 08/22, we have nearly 58K miles on the Lexus and it has been great, with no issues other than an intermittent false low tire warning. We will be heading in soon for its 60K mile service. We highly recommend this great vehicle!

Let me start my review by saying that I loved my 2010 RX 350.Why haven't I read that the 2013 RX 350 has a much stiffer suspension and harder seats.Even my husband who doesn't care about comfort in car has noticed that the seats are hard. I leased the 2013 RX 350 non sport model.NON Sport and it has a very harsh bouncy ride. I so wish that I had not turned in my 2010 for this model.

The sat/radio performance is subpar, frequently losing signal even in areas where my MB maintains connectivity. Additionally, I had to replace the rear struts before reaching 50k miles and the radiator at 92k miles, which was a costly $850 repair. In contrast, my Pathfinder only required a $500 repair for the heater blower motor after 177000k miles. Based on my experiences, I am considering the Infiniti QX60 for my next SUV.

It seems like there are some issues with the Lexus Emform suite, particularly with Pandora not operating as expected. The dealer was unable to provide a solution, but they did mention that Lexus is currently working on resolving the problem. It's possible that there were some oversights in the product/software testing phase prior to release.
