The contact stated that occasionally while depressing the brake pedal or the accelerator pedal or while stopped at a traffic light, there was an abnormal squeaking sound coming from the brake actuator. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the vehicle was diagnosed with a faulty brake actuator. The dealer recommended replacing the brake actuator assembly. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided the contact with a case number and would respond within 72 hours. - Summary: My front passenger door actuator has failed. This door cannot be locked/unlocked with the remote or by pressing any lock/unlock button. This prevents the driver from being able to lock all the doors or the front passenger from being able to quickly exit the cabin unless the manual unlock switch is known and applied. This is the 5th door actuator that has failed on this vehicle. I'm the original owner and it has 51K miles on it. All 4 doors failed and this is the second time for this particular door since it was replaced some 4 years & 21K miles ago. The problem started a few months ago and is currently intermittent. Being "sometimes" safe is not being safe. I have not had it analyzed at the dealer since I would not bring it there unless I planned to have it fixed. There were no warning signs or lights.

- Summary: When I press on my brakes they make a loud roaring sound right away. Usually when brakes are about to go out its usually a squeaky noise then it will go to loud roaring noise. There has not been an indicator on the dash about any issues with the vehicle. I found it rather odd that the brakes made the roaring noise immediately. It didn't squeak at all. I would like for this matter to be looked into. There is no way there should be a brake system failure right away. The schrader valve has a crack and freon is leaking out of and the air is not blowing cold air.

We purchased this fantastic vehicle from a dealership in Pennsylvania back in July 2019. At the time of purchase, it had 46,000 miles on the clock and a clean Carfax report, indicating that the previous owner had taken great care of it. Since then, my wife has been driving it and absolutely loves it! The RX 350 is a top-quality vehicle that retains its value for a good reason. It offers great driving performance, a quiet ride, a quality interior, and plenty of room. We have had no complaints whatsoever, and the only expense we've had so far was to replace the battery in January 2020. While dealership maintenance costs can be high, we found a local Valvoline Oil Change shop that installed a comparable Interstate battery for only $135. We also own an Acura RDX, which is another great vehicle, and we've found that the Acura dealer is less expensive for service work. It's been 20 months since we bought the Lexus, and it's still running great with 53,000 miles on the clock. We recently changed the oil at the same Valvoline Oil Change shop where we got the battery, and everything is still running smoothly. While we do have a complaint about the cost of maintenance at the local Lexus dealership, we've found that the local Acura dealership that services our other vehicle (Acura RDX) is much more reasonable, accommodating, and friendlier. For that reason, we would give the nod to Acura. However, we are very happy with the performance of both vehicles and don't plan on replacing them for several years. As of 3/15/22, the Lexus has only clocked 2,000 miles in the last 6 months, but it's still a great vehicle. We found a local mechanic who does good work at reasonable rates, so we plan on keeping this vehicle for a while. We're happy we found it when we did!

Hi there! I hope you're doing well. I wanted to share my recent experience with IRA Lexus in Bedford, NH. I recently purchased a brand new 2014 RX 350 SUV from them, but unfortunately, my car had some issues with the transmission. When we were driving home, we noticed some vibrations when switching gears on the freeway. After taking it back to the dealership, they determined that the transmission was defective and needed to be replaced. Despite the issue, the staff at IRA Lexus were very friendly and helpful throughout the process.
