Negative 2017 Lexus Gs 350 car reviews

  1. Emil Lebsack 2024-10-22

If you're looking for a car with a quiet and smooth ride, this may not be the best option for you. However, the car has many great features and performs well in all other respects. It's important to note that the road noise can be a bit loud due to the Dunlop Sport Max 050 tires, but this can be improved by ensuring the tires are properly inflated. Additionally, the car may feel underpowered in normal mode, but switching to sports mode can provide a more enjoyable driving experience. After a few years of driving, I have found that regular maintenance, such as oil changes, and proper tire pressure can make a big difference in the car's performance. While the seats may not be the most comfortable for long drives, overall the car is reliable and a good choice for city driving.

  2. Taurean Senger 2024-08-09

I recently purchased a 2015 CPO F-sport, but unfortunately, I have not been satisfied with my experience so far. Despite my history of keeping cars for 6-8 years, I am already considering trading it in after only one month. While the car looks nice and has a sporty appearance with the F-Sport package, it has several drawbacks. The acceleration is lacking, and the transmission seems to get stuck in higher gears for too long, which is not ideal for an 8-speed Tranny. Additionally, the seats are uncomfortable, and the handling is only average, especially with the 19-inch wheels. The car also lacks some basic features, such as a holder for sunglasses and a visor extender to block the sun. The electronics are complicated, and the mouse-like controller is difficult to use. Overall, I believe that the car is overpriced for what it offers, with 4-cylinder acceleration and 6-cylinder gas mileage. Despite these issues, I am confident in my decision to trade it in while it is still under CPO warranty.

  3. Troy Lowe 2024-07-01

Big bones performance- Engine, transmission, and handling are wonderful. However, the technology package is HORRIBLE. It is totally unintuitive and completely missed the mark. I can't believe how little thought was put into very basic controls. I must say, I am disappointed beyond words.

Hello! I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share my experience with the navigation system in my Lexus. Unfortunately, I have been experiencing some issues with it since January 2019. Despite four updates, the system still doesn't seem to be working correctly. I even test drove a 2018 Lexus and found the same issue. While I have had success with my portable Garmin GPS units, I have not had the same luck with my Lexus/Toyota system. I have reached out to the corporate management in Torrance and Irvine, CA via certified letters and phone calls, but have not received a response. I understand that these things can take time, but I am disappointed that my concerns have not been addressed. The Riverside and Newport dealerships have also been unable to fix the issue. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you for your time.

Positive 2017 Lexus Gs 350 car reviews

  1. Stephan Hammes 2025-04-03

Nov2020 - Status is still the same. This car is great if you take care of it. In May 2020, we still loved this car even though it had 60k miles on it. During quarantine, we discovered that if you don't drive it for a couple of weeks, the battery dies. Lexus advised us that it's because the computers continue to work when it's not driven. Even though they are not pulling much power over a period of time, it will drain the battery. In November 2019, we still loved this car and had no complaints. Everything still works like it should. In May 2019, the below review was still accurate and we still loved this car. In November 2018, the below review was still accurate. In November 2017, I still loved this car. It's quiet, sporty, well-built, and the all-around best sedan I've ever owned. Park Place Lexus in Grapevine, TX made our purchase a very pleasant experience. We were in and out in about 3 hours, including the test drive. The car we chose had only 2000 miles and we paid $16,000 less than a 2016 comparably equipped, just because our vehicle was red. Apparently, people still believe the urban myth that red cars get more tickets, so Park Place was making a deal to move it. This GS is smoother, faster, quieter, and more comfortable than my BMW 330i was. The 6-year unlimited miles warranty on certified Lexus is unbeatable. We originally looked at the RC350 F Sport, but moved to the GS for more room and comfort. The GS is just as fast anyway and offers more trunk space for traveling.

  2. Einar Lakin 2025-03-20

I compared the Audi A6, MB E350, BMW 5 Series and Cadillac. However, the Lexus emerged as the clear winner! It offers reliability, comfort, fun-to-drive experience and distinctive style, all in one package. While the other competitors had their strengths and weaknesses, this car checked all the boxes without compromising on any of the characteristics I valued most. Although the red leather interior was a bit out of character for me, the fun-to-drive experience was the most surprising part. I never expected a Lexus to be this enjoyable to drive! I am constantly looking for a reason to drive the car and smile every time I get in it. I love cars, but I have never enjoyed one as much as this! Even after 4 years, I still love it and have not had a single complaint (once I got used to the weird controller/mouse thing).

  3. Jo Herzog 2025-03-07

This car has a very high residual rate on return. It's a very dependable car. Lexus cars are known for their reliability and durability. This is my third GS and I absolutely love how high tech it is in terms of performance, interior and road ability. The exterior is beautiful and the sound system is great. The quality is excellent. I have surveyed several cars in the GS class and I have not seen anything that comes close to what Lexus has to offer. I highly recommend the Lexus GS 350 AWD.

  4. Caleb Hoppe 2025-02-25

The AWD GS 350 is a luxury performance car designed with a conservative, red-state aesthetic. Despite its modest appearance, this car packs a punch when you put it into drive. With sports-mode engaged, it easily outperforms other luxury sports cars like Jaguars, Maseratis, BMWs, and Mercedes Benz of similar class. The handling and style of this car are truly exceptional, and you can only fully appreciate it by owning one and taking it for a spin. The only downside is that it consumes gas quickly, despite its fuel-efficient engine. However, I highly recommend taking it for a test drive to experience its impressive capabilities for yourself.

  5. Consuelo Leffler 2025-02-20

One of the best cars you'll ever have! It's so refreshing to have an all-around solid vehicle with no mechanical issues. Although the navigation and mouse to navigate it could use some improvement, Lexus is already working on it due to customer feedback. Overall, this car rocks!
