- PCV Valve Clogging: Clogging of the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve has been reported to cause increased smoke emission from the car. This issue can lead to environmental pollution and may indicate underlying engine problems.

I compared the Audi A6, MB E350, BMW 5 Series and Cadillac. However, the Lexus emerged as the clear winner! It offers reliability, comfort, fun-to-drive experience and distinctive style, all in one package. While the other competitors had their strengths and weaknesses, this car checked all the boxes without compromising on any of the characteristics I valued most. Although the red leather interior was a bit out of character for me, the fun-to-drive experience was the most surprising part. I never expected a Lexus to be this enjoyable to drive! I am constantly looking for a reason to drive the car and smile every time I get in it. After 4 years, I still love it and have not had a single complaint (once I got used to the weird controller/mouse thing).

Congratulations on your new Lexus! It sounds like you made an excellent choice. The Nightfall Mica color with Flaxen Leather and Walnut Wood grain sounds like a beautiful combination. I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying the sporty feel and the way it hugs the road on every turn. The new grill face and excellent interior are also great features. It's always nice to have a car that makes a statement. Thank you for sharing your positive experience!

I purchased a 07 GS350 in 09 and have put 60K miles on it. I really like the car! It has great performance, a sleek appearance, and a much quieter and smoother ride since I switched to Michelins and got rid of the run flats. I also added an IPOD hookup which works great. Although I had some dashboard rattles, I brought it back to two different dealers and they were able to eliminate the rattles entirely. Overall, I find the car to be very comfortable with solid performance and handling. The only cons I have noticed are a little more wind noise than I expected, especially around the sun roof, and the fact that the NAV system cannot be used while the car is in motion.

Hi there! I just wanted to share my experience with my 2011 GS350. I've had it for 3 years now and it has been an amazing car! It was the last one of its body style on the lot and I got an incredible deal on it. This is actually my 4th Lexus, and my wife drives a 2012 RX350 - also an amazing car! One thing I love about my GS350 is how quiet it is on the highway - only 87 dB at 65 mph as measured by my sound level meter. It handles great, drives smoothly, takes bumps nicely, and is just plain fun to drive. And the best part? I've never had a single issue with it, or any of my other Lexus or Toyota vehicles. In my opinion, it's the best value Lexus sedan out there. The snappy performance has even saved me from an accident more than once! Anyway, I'm thinking about switching things up soon and checking out the GX460. Thanks for listening!

To be honest, there is only one thing that I dislike about this vehicle - the 'lifetime' transmission fluid that comes with it. I am skeptical of any claims that state a vehicle fluid will never break down, as heat and friction will eventually destroy the protective properties of any fluid, even synthetic. However, I must say that the rest of the car is absolutely fantastic! The 8-speed AISIN transmission is a gem, and I love the rev matching and V8 sounding exhaust note in Sport mode. In Eco and Regular mode, the car is very smooth, quiet, and steers effortlessly. The V6 engine provides impressive power, and the acceleration, even at high speeds, feels like it will never end. I keep the fuel level between a half tank and a quarter tank, removed the donut, and carry a tire plug kit to save weight. These weight savings have allowed me to clock an unofficial but satisfying 4.8 second 0-60 time. If you are mechanically inclined, you will be able to do most of the maintenance yourself, such as the spark plugs and brake fluid exchange, which reduces the cost of ownership. Overall, this car is a joy to drive and I highly recommend it!Owning this Lexus (as well as many other 6 cylinder engines mounted in the same manner as the GS 350) results in lower maintenance costs than most 8 cylinder Lexus vehicles as well as the ES 300 series. Despite being 6 years old, most people think my Lexus is brand new due to the quality of the paint. The leather on the driver's seat is beginning to wear thin, but I'm over 220 lbs. All of my friends who are my weight and over have driver's seats which are wearing no matter what car they drive. My wife's 2002 ES 300 seats still look brand new. So, I think the leather in the GS 350 isn't to blame for leather wear, but more so the heat and friction from big @. If you can find one with all of the maintenance records and is in excellent condition after an inspection, please buy a GS 350 EVEN if it has

The run flats can be quite uncomfortable for the driver, as they tend to produce a lot of rattles and a rough ride. However, the exceptional fuel economy they provide is definitely a plus. I personally replaced them with conventional tires, which are quieter and provide a smoother ride. Now, I can enjoy a noise-free cabin and appreciate the car's features. Even though I insulated noise-producing areas with felt, I still feel like a TV is missing. Overall, I believe this car is the best purchase I could have made for the price, especially since I bought it used with only 8k miles.

The car has some noticeable issues such as a squeaky dash, occasional coolant smell, and a sulfur smell from the exhaust when the windows are down in the summer. Despite being a nice car, the price and frequency of these issues make it difficult for me to recommend. Additionally, I have found that Lexus dealerships can be dismissive when approached with these issues. Overall, I believe there is room for improvement in both the car and the customer service provided by Lexus.

I recently purchased a 2015 CPO F-sport, but unfortunately, I have not been satisfied with my experience so far. Despite my history of keeping cars for 6-8 years, I am already considering trading it in after only one month. While the car looks nice and has a sporty appearance with the F-Sport package, it has several drawbacks. The acceleration is lacking, and the transmission seems to get stuck in higher gears for too long, which is not ideal for an 8-speed Tranny. Additionally, the seats are uncomfortable, and the handling is only average, especially with the 19-inch wheels. The car also lacks some basic features, such as a holder for sunglasses and a visor extender to block the sun. The electronics are complicated, and the mouse-like controller is difficult to use. Overall, I believe that the car is overpriced for what it offers, with 4-cylinder acceleration and 6-cylinder gas mileage. Despite these issues, I am confident in my decision to trade it in while it is still under CPO warranty.

If you're looking for a car with a quiet and smooth ride, this may not be the best option for you. However, the car has many great features and performs well in all other respects. It's important to note that the road noise can be a bit loud due to the Dunlop Sport Max 050 tires, but this can be improved by ensuring the tires are properly inflated. Additionally, the car may feel underpowered in normal mode, but switching to sports mode can provide a more enjoyable driving experience. After a few years of driving, I have found that regular maintenance, such as oil changes, and proper tire pressure can make a big difference in the car's performance. While the seats may not be the most comfortable for long drives, overall the car is reliable and a good choice for city driving.
