Common 2018 Lexus Gs 350 problems
The 2018 Lexus GS 350 is a well-regarded luxury sedan, but like any vehicle, it has some common problems that owners have reported. The following issues are based on the search results and are not presented in any particular order:
- Trunk Space: The trunk of the 2018 Lexus GS 350 is not expandable because the rear seatbacks do not fold down, which can be a limitation for some users who need more cargo space.
- Servo Motor Malfunction in A/C System: Some owners have reported issues with the servo motor malfunctioning in the A/C system, but Lexus has already addressed this issue by sending letters to affected owners with out-of-warranty vehicles.
- Tire Wear and Tear: Some owners have reported that the tires on the 2018 Lexus GS 350 tend to wear out faster than expected, particularly if the vehicle is driven aggressively or frequently hits potholes.
- Brake Rotors: Some owners have expressed concerns about the brake rotors' ability to withstand "panic stops" without shuddering or experiencing heat issues during normal driving. Some owners have installed heavier brake rotors to address this issue.
- Fuel Requirement: The 2018 Lexus GS 350 requires premium fuel, which can make gas more expensive. Some owners have reported that the vehicle performs better and gets better mileage with premium fuel, but others have questioned whether it is strictly necessary.
- F-Sport Model Headlamp Spray Nozzles: Some owners of the F-Sport model have reported issues with the headlamp spray nozzles, which can be fragile and prone to breaking off, particularly in cold weather. This issue can be mitigated by turning off the headlights in snowy conditions, but this is not always practical or safe.
It's important to note that these issues are not necessarily widespread or indicative of significant problems with the 2018 Lexus GS 350. Many owners have reported positive experiences with the vehicle, and it remains a popular choice in the luxury sedan segment. However, potential buyers should be aware of these common issues and consider them when making their purchasing decision.

The car not only looks great from the outside, but the interior is also impressive. The build quality and finishing are on par with Lexus standards, which is exactly what we expected from them. The car is quiet, handles well, and comes with amazing safety and convenience features. It also has a great performance and on the highway, we were able to achieve 32 MPG. We considered other luxury brands such as Audi, BMW, and MB, but we believe that this car's ride quality is just as good, if not better, and the overall quality and reliability surpasses the others. Our Nebula Gray car looks classy, especially with the tinted windows. We are very pleased with our purchase.

I'm so glad to hear that you love your new ride!

This is the most expensive car I have bought, but I am confident about it because it delivers now and will keep delivering in the coming years. Coming from a 5 series BMW, I am pleasantly surprised by how much fun the Lexus is. It has more than enough power, awesome handling, and all the tech you need, plus the pure luxury styling and high-quality materials. I am so satisfied! It checks all the real-world boxes you need. Value your money and get a GS.

Hi there! That's a beautiful car you have!

More room and easier to get in and out. The bumper doesn't scrape everything. It's much faster and more fun to drive. It's super comfortable and has way more features, such as power rear shade and folding mirrors, etc.

I recently upgraded from my 09 GS, but unfortunately, I'm not enjoying my new purchase as much as I thought I would. Despite its great performance, I find that everything else about it feels cheapened and less appealing. Even with a sport model and red interior, it feels smaller and less sexy. Additionally, the Mark Levinson system is only half as good as the one in my 09. The dash and equipment also feel awkward and remind me of an old lady car, like the Chrysler my mom had when I was growing up. I had originally planned on keeping it for 7-8 years, but now I'm not so sure. Although I was planning on selling my 09, I'm now hesitant to let it go.

Hello! I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share my experience with the navigation system in my Lexus. Unfortunately, I have been experiencing some issues with it since January 2019. Despite four updates, the system still doesn't seem to be working correctly. I even test drove a 2018 Lexus and found the same issue. While I have had success with my portable Garmin GPS units, I have not had the same luck with my Lexus/Toyota system. I have reached out to the corporate management in Torrance and Irvine, CA, but have not received a response. Despite this, I remain hopeful that we can find a solution to this issue. Thank you for your time.
