The Tahoe is sold in North America, parts of Asia such as the Philippines, and the Middle East, plus other countries including Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, and Angola as a left-hand-drive vehicle. The Yukon is only sold in North America and the Middle East.

- Summary: Recall #09V154000 should have been performed on my vehicle according to the list of VIN #'s affected, but it never was and I was never notified of the recall. I purchased this vehicle the month before this recall was announced in 2009 and did not start having safety issues until after my new SUV warranty had expired (how convenient). Over the years, I have spent thousands of dollars replacing all kinds of sensors, relays, batteries and various other parts trying to alleviate the unsafe electrical and loss of power issues that this faulty part continues to cause. I have taken this vehicle to my local dealership on countless occasions, complaining that the vehicle intermittently: does not start, the engine suddenly dies while driving on the highway or turning a corner (becoming unsteerable and the brakes won't work), suddenly decelerates, door locks cycle rapidly while driving, the check engine light and other warning lights/alarms come on, headlights and dash lights suddenly shut off, windows or AC stops working, and now the fuel gauge only reads 1/4 tank when I just filled it up. I took the SUV to my local dealer again today, explained the intermittent electrical and loss of power issues and history again and asked why this recall had not been performed or was not scheduled to be performed at any previous time that I had brought the vehicle in for diagnostics or service on these related issues. The service manager admitted that the recall had never been performed, but denied the possibility of the FSCM causing any of these issues, regardless of the recall notice stating they were. He then refused to perform the recall and said I needed to pay $380 to have another diagnostic scan performed. Never scheduling/performing the recall when the SUV was serviced countless times for related safety issues as defined in the recall notice that they never mailed to me and refusing to perform the recall today is a violation of the US NTMV Safety Act and should have consequences!

The build quality is excellent, and it provides a nice ride. It also has plenty of towing power for our travel trailer. What's more, even my wife, who usually shies away from large vehicles, feels comfortable driving it and does not feel intimidated. I have owned several Silverados, so this is familiar, but it is a lot easier to whip into parking places.

This is my first true SUV and so far it's exceeded my expectations. I can honestly say after 20K miles of in town and highway driving, I would buy another Tahoe. Excellent driving experience and the gas mileage has been about as expected, actually slightly better. But I have to say I'm not a heavy on the gas either.

I love the way this big, beautiful, roomy SUV handles and looks! I went from a Ford Explorer to this and I couldn't be happier.

Hello! I noticed that the 6.2 wasn't available in the drop down menu, which makes it even more special! This is actually my second LTZ - the first being a 2007 2WD with the 5.3. While the 6.2 4X4 has loads of power, it's averaging just 13.8 MPG compared to the 16 MPG of the 2WD 5.3 with only a 4 speed trans (No 8/4 mode on the 6.2). In my opinion, this is the best truck GM has ever produced. Although it doesn't quite have the ride of the Escalade (no magnetic ride control in the Tahoe), the Caddy didn't have low range (AWD only), and really, 12K more for a slightly bigger nav screen and 6 disc changer VS single disc? It's a no brainer. I believe the build quality is very good, at least equal to Ford or Chrysler.

Hi there! I just wanted to share that I recently purchased my 3rd Tahoe (I previously owned an '02 Z71 and an '05 Z71) and I must say, they just keep getting better and better!

Although we were excited about our new Chevy Yukon, it has unfortunately not met our expectations. While my wife enjoys the size and ride, we have been loyal Suburban owners for the past 20 years. The biggest disappointment has been the fuel mileage, which has not exceeded 14mpg whether on the highway or in town. Our old Suburban got 17-18mpg on the road. Additionally, the performance has not been what we expected. The engine has died in the middle of a turn and there seems to be a small miss when slowing for a turn and then accelerating. Unexpectedly, there is no storage under the seats or anywhere else. All in all, considering the price, we may have been better off with a Lexus, BMW, or MB.
