The Tahoe is sold in North America, parts of Asia such as the Philippines, and the Middle East, plus other countries including Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, and Angola as a left-hand-drive vehicle. The Yukon is only sold in North America and the Middle East.
The Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon are part of General Motors' full-size SUV family and are differentiated from the similar Chevrolet Suburban and GMC Yukon XL primarily by the length of the passenger and cargo area behind the C-pillar. I've also noticed my transmission temperature is staying between 190-200 degrees which gm has already had recalls over pertaining to this style transmission having issues due to high heat. Vehicle has always had maintenance kept up with and never abused. Have taken to local shop since warranty ran out several times for inspection of transmission well my complaints in regards and have fluid done. Recently I've noticed fluid is needing to be replaced more frequently due to losing viscosity from overheating and being burnt, has the familiar and similar smell of toast being burnt. This is a 2016 Tahoe ltz w just over 200k, yes in some ways a lot but considering the cost of vehicle new/age/synthetic fluids and everything it seems to me the transmission should last longer especially considering it's been maintained. These new vehicles are outrageous and the transmissions are very expensive as well, considering these same transmissions have had recalls from GM I'm a little aggravated and frustrated on how some can and can't. I'm familiar and aware they say it's per manufacturing plant and particular models but confused as to how if the transmission that has had recalls for overheating doesn't comply to all the transmissions that are same type, I think it's bogus n a way not to be responsible for accepting failures n having to replace all parts so gm says it only happened here n with these parts. I guarantee you if someone would take a look at gm shipping and papers they would see it. If a 2016 4l60e had problems it's more than likely all of them in that year had all same parts so therefore all acceptable to failure, its not like transmission maker chose different parts to send to different plants or this get that no thats just b.s. so there not responsible for all of them so they pick plant with most failures

Busy traffic gladly I mad it over safely without getting hit. After I pulled over the service engine light come on and the transmission temperature was high. After the vehicle cooled down and I was able to me the shifting was terrible it would jerk while shifting. So I called aamco transmission and they said I needed a transmission replacement. This is not the first Chevrolet Tahoe I have had that done this my 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe done the same thing and needed a transmission. The repair cost is at $5500.00.

- Summary: On Wednesday, 11/15/23, I was sitting in my vehicle while it was parked and running for several minutes. After a few minutes, the alert chime went off and the message "Service Trailer Brake System" was displayed on the dash notifications. This alert persisted for several minutes. Since this initial incident, the same alert has displayed 3 or 4 more times, but while driving. It repeats persistently, causing a major distraction, blocking my speedometer, and disabling bluetooth features. I nearly wrecked because of the distraction and have not been able to tow my trailer because of the risk of of the trailer brakes not working. I have an appointment scheduled with my mechanic on 11/28/23 to get this repaired, but have recently learned of several incidents of this same alert from other GM vehicle owners. This seems to be a defective wire harness and needs to be recalled as it is unsafe and renders the vehicle useless for many intended purposes.

- Summary: General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2014-2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2015-2016 Chevrolet Tahoe, and 2014-2015 GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles that may have received an incorrect replacement tensioner cable assembly as part of a previous recall remedy or a subsequent repair. The flexible steel cable connecting the driver's seat belt to the outboard side of the seat may be repeatedly bent over the seat side shield as the driver enters and exits the vehicle causing the cable to fatigue and separate.
- Consequence: A broken pretensioner cable reduces the effectiveness of the driver's seat belt, increasing the risk of injury.
- Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the driver seat belt lap pretensioner, free of charge. The recall began on May 5, 2021. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, and GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N212330040.

- Summary: General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2020 Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Yukon, and 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles equipped with a 5.3-liter engine, a 3.08-ratio rear axle and four-wheel drive. If a wheel-speed sensor fails, while the vehicle is traveling between 41 and 60 mph in four-wheel or automatic mode, the Electronic-Brake Control Module (EBCM) software may activate the driveline-protection system.
- Consequence: Unintended activation of the driveline-protection system will cause unintended braking on the wheel on the opposite side of the failed sensor, causing the vehicle to pull to one side unexpectedly, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the EBCM, free of charge. The recall began December 11, 2019. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-630-2438 or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N192261050.

The radios in the affected vehicles may become inoperative, and as a result, there would be no audible chime to notify the driver if the door is opened with the key in the ignition or no audible seat belt warning indicating the seat belts were not buckled. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to drive this SUV for a long distance dance competition! It wasn't my first choice for my husband, but it definitely exceeded my expectations. The interior is stunning with its chocolate/mahogany color and the appointments are easy to use. The comfortable ride made the long trip tolerable. While the 3rd seat option is cozy at best and the trunk area is limited when it's used, luckily it's not used often. If you're looking for a comfortable ride that makes you feel safe while driving, this is definitely the SUV to have! I actually really love it!

GM really outdid themselves with the redesign of the 2015 Tahoe! As a Chevy truck guy, I was already a fan, but this time they raised the bar substantially in terms of quality, looks, and performance. While I do wish it had better fuel economy, the other attributes far outweigh the 14 mpg in town, in my opinion. In this day and age, safety features are a must, and this vehicle provides just that. From the turn signals in the mirror warning other traffic of your intentions, to the various sensors warning you of traffic around you, to the heads-up display, this vehicle has it all. The Nav system is the most user-friendly I have seen in any vehicle, including Audi and Mercedes. Overall, I give it an A, with the only exception being the fuel economy.

I'm a big fan of the Chevy SUV lineup. As a prior owner of 3 Suburbans and now the Tahoe, I can confidently say that the current Tahoe body style (2015-on) has nearly perfected the ride, which is why I downsized. Overall, I'm thrilled with the unit, although I was disappointed to find out that the LT model does not have Nav. Despite this, I'm still managing just fine. The mileage is excellent, with over 23MPG on a 40-50 MPH road and sub 20 on the highway. However, there are a few items of concern. Visibility in the Tahoe is pretty poor, with lots of blind spots, especially when trying to back up on diagonal parking. Thankfully, the back-up camera and sensors are very helpful, although the seat sometimes clicks or clunks on certain turns after my last detailing from the dealer. Unfortunately, the A/C recently failed, and I'll be bringing it back to the dealer for repair. No way should the A/C fail in this vehicle in this year, so we'll see. The GM line of SUVs really fits my lifestyle, and nothing else comes close. However, at these prices, if the vehicle doesn't continue to wow me, I'll take another sharp turn toward increasing my savings and retirement instead of forking out big dough on vehicles. Make me proud GM!

I recently traded in my '07 Tahoe for a new one, but unfortunately, I have been experiencing some issues with it. The seat heater takes over 20 minutes to heat up, the backup camera quality is poor and the newly designed transmission skips gears when shifting. Additionally, the throttle hesitation is quite noticeable, making me think twice before passing another car unless the road is completely clear. The water pump also needed replacement at only 17k miles, which was quite disappointing. However, I do appreciate the seat coolers, steering wheel warmer, and the stereo speakers that produce good bass. Despite these issues, I remain hopeful that GM will address these concerns and improve their design. As a long-time customer who has owned two Suburbans and two Tahoes, I hope to continue supporting GM in the future.

I've owned 5 different Tahoe/Suburbans over the last 30 years. While I've had some issues with the 2015 model, I would recommend considering other options. This vehicle has some blind spots that require you to use your mirrors to see cars near you. Additionally, the rear wiper can obstruct your vision before swiping again. It's worth noting that there is no GPS, only ONSTAR, and some users have reported difficulty connecting their phone GPS to the sound system. The Bluetooth connection can also be unreliable. Finally, I've experienced some issues with the backup camera and console going blank, which can be concerning. Overall, it's important to weigh the pros and cons before making a decision.

I have replaced all of your tires, covering a distance of 24775 miles. As someone who has owned three Tahoes, I can confidently say that this is the fastest I have ever replaced tires. However, I am disappointed to see that Chevrolet has gone cheap on the new tires, as the previous ones were of much better quality. It is worth noting that I have been in the same profession for the past 16 years and my daily commute is only 7.2 miles.

General Motors' customer support is currently inadequate. However, I can provide a solution to the engine shaking at idle. The motor mounts can be shimmed, and if that doesn't work, the shims can be checked and adjusted accordingly. As for the fuel efficiency, the vehicle may stay in V8 mode even on flat surfaces, causing a loss of 3 miles per gallon on cruise control. Lastly, the memory seats and steering wheel can be a bit tricky to operate, but with a little practice, it becomes easier. Despite these issues, General Motors remains a reputable car company with a long history of quality vehicles.
