I ALSO HAVE A 2007 CADILLAC STS WITH 85K WHERE THIS IS STARTING TO BECOME PRESENT AND AN 2005 CADILLAC SRX 130K WHERE THIS ALREADY HAPPENED AND HAD TO SPEND THOUSANDS IN REPAIRS. I UNDERSTAND WITH AGE COMES RUST HOWEVER THIS IS A MANUFACTURE DEFECT. THERE IS NO REASON FOR THESE CARS MAIN STRUCTURE TO OF BEEN FILLED WITH FOAM CAUSING THE "FRAME" TO ROT SPECIFICALLY WHERE THE ENGINE CRADLE BOLTS TO THE BODY STRUCTURE. HAD THIS ADDRESSED NOW I COULD OF BEEN DRIVING THE CAR AND HAD THE ENGINE SUBFRAME RIP FROM THE UNIBODY.

WITH BOTH LEGS PUSHING ON THE BRAKE PEDALS THE CAR WOULD NOT STOP. SHE WAS ALMOST KILLED SINCE SHE HAD TO HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF HER. THE CAR ONLY HAS 57000 MILES ON IT SO FIGURED THE CAR HAD A LOT OF LIFE IN IT. NOT ANYMORE. THE DEALER (ED MORSE IN TAMPA) HAS MADE A PRELIMINARY INSPECTION AND LOOKS LIKE THE CAR IS TOTALED. THIS ALL HAPPED ON A 45 MPH ROAD WITH LOTS OF ROOM TO MOVE ABOUT BUT NOT AT A RED LIGHT. I GUESS I NEED TO LOOK FOR SOMETHING OTHER THAN CADILLAC FOR QUALITY AS MUCH AS I LIKED THE CAR.

A FIRE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 82,920.

We traded in our 2006 Subaru Outback for this car and we couldn't be happier! The interior is incredibly spacious and the seats are extremely comfortable, both in the front and back. We love the separate climate controls, power sunroof, and automatic driver settings that adjust the seat and mirror settings for two drivers. It's really convenient to get into the car after my husband has used it and find that the seats and mirrors are set exactly where I like them. Although the trunk is a bit small and the glove box is a joke, the exterior is absolutely gorgeous and the car has amazing pick up. It's very fast and fun to drive, definitely not your grandpa's car!

Cadillac is definitely back in the game with this new STS. The car looks great, has a fantastic interior, and boasts superior technology. I've been driving it for two months now and it's been a pleasure. Our family has owned three Cadillacs so far, and each year they keep getting better. We've never had any problems with them. Cadillac has really shattered stereotypes. If you're in the market for a car, make sure to test this one out. It outperforms all other midsize cars, including BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Infiniti, and Jaguar. It's an excellent car that's worth every penny, just like all the other Cadillacs we've owned. Why settle for anything less than the standard of the world?

When my wife and I went to purchase a CTS Luxury Sport, the salesman also showed us a V6 STS Luxury pkg. For just a few dollars more, we were able to get exactly what we were both looking for. After looking at both Japanese and European cars for the past 3 months, we can confidently say that the STS V6 beats them all! With 255 HP, the V6 is the perfect engine, and the 5-speed auto trans with sport mode and manual shift option makes driving this car a blast. The center stack with optional Premium upgrade gets wood trim, making the interior absolutely gorgeous! And to top it off, it runs on regular gas, something that all the imports can't do. Plus, it's rear-wheel drive, so there's no torque steer. Thank you for showing us this amazing car!

I keep a number of cars for different purposes- some for business, some for fun, some for performance, and some just to look at. The STS is perfect for business appointments and really fits the category. Picking up a client in a $100k car or a $1k car sends a message, and the STS is a great choice for that. It's also great for taking my partner out on the town- no worries about the elements or parking lots. When choosing a vehicle, don't settle for less than a fully-optioned one. I recommend getting the heads-up display, V8, navigation, sunroof, 15-speaker Bose sound system, adaptive cruise control, and 18-inch wheels. However, it's important to keep in mind that reliability can be an issue, and finding knowledgeable, competent, and friendly service can be a challenge.

I love the power my car has, but I have a problem with the comfort of the driver's seat. After a 3-hour drive, my right leg starts to cramp, and I experience pain in my hip. I thought it was due to my back surgery, but after reading the reviews on this car, I am relieved to find out that it's not just me. Although the dealership has been great, I am disappointed with the car, especially since it's supposed to be a luxury vehicle.

I've owned the 2000 STS, 2001 STS, 2002 STS, 2003 STS, and now the 05 STS. I must say that the interior of the 98-04 STS is much better than the current one. However, the exterior is marvelous, especially the front and back end. The car comes with lots of standard features, and I love the power of the V8 N*. I've heard that the V6 is not as good though :(

As a loyal GM buyer for the past 25 years, I was excited to purchase my dream car. However, my experience with this particular model has been disappointing. Despite having the car serviced at least 18 times for uncomfortable seats, electrical and stereo problems, and alarms going off in the middle of the night, the issues persisted. Additionally, the front and back tires are different sizes, which has resulted in the need for frequent replacements. While I appreciate GM's offer of money off my next purchase, I am hesitant to consider another GM vehicle in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The car's electronics can be difficult to comprehend, but outside of that, the car is great! The navigation system may be a bit challenging to understand, and the Bluetooth phone system with the hands-free option may be hard for people to understand what the driver is saying. However, the Bose radio gives the best performance if you buy 5.1 digital CDs, and the car's performance and handling are both great. While the Sat radio quality may not be as good as your GMC Denali, it's still a great option to have.
