Common 2015 Audi Rs5 problems
The 2015 Audi RS 5 has been reported to have several common problems, primarily related to the braking system, electrical system, and fuel system.
- Electrical System Issues: The 2015 Audi RS 5 has experienced several electrical system problems, including the malfunctioning of the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light) and the EVAP (Evaporative Emission Control System) leak detection. The MIL may turn on, and the DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) P045600 (EVAP System Leak Detected NVLD) can be stored in the engine control module (ECM). This issue can be caused by a very small leak in the EVAP system, which can lead to reduced fuel efficiency and increased emissions.
- Fuel System Issues: The fuel system in the 2015 Audi RS 5 has been reported to have issues with the fuel tank ventilation system. This issue can lead to difficulties in fueling the vehicle or cause the MIL to turn on. The Technical Service Bulletin provides instructions for determining which parts related to the fuel tank ventilation system should be replaced to solve this issue.
- Engine and Transmission Issues: The 2015 Audi RS 5's engine and transmission require more preventative maintenance than other models due to their complexity and the stress they are under. It is essential to budget more for services such as differential and transmission services to avoid wearing out these components prematurely.
- Front Suspension Bushings: The front suspension bushings in the 2015 Audi RS 5 wear out relatively quickly. These bushings are like $10-15 a pop for each bushing, but it is essential to note this issue, especially if purchasing a high-mileage vehicle.
- Coolant Lines: The coolant lines leading to the overflow tank can crack and cause coolant leaks. It is recommended to visually inspect these lines regularly and replace them if any signs of damage or leaks are detected.
- Direct Injection: The 2015 Audi RS 5's direct injection system can lead to carbon buildup in the engine, which can negatively impact performance. It is recommended to plan for a carbon cleaning service to maintain peak performance.
In summary, the 2015 Audi RS 5 has several common problems related to the braking system, electrical system, fuel system, engine, transmission, front suspension bushings, coolant lines, and direct injection. It is essential to be aware of these issues and budget for preventative maintenance and potential repairs to ensure the vehicle's longevity and reliability.

SERVICE BRAKES PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2015-03-25
- VIN: WUAC6AFRXFA
- Components: SERVICE BRAKES
- Summary: THE BREAKING SYSTEM ON MY AUDI RS5 IS CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO SHUDDER QUITE VIOLENTLY. THERE HAS BEEN SOME SHUDDERING SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR BUT NOW WITH ONLY 20K MILES IT IS GETTING WORSE. I ASKED THE DEALERSHIP TO CHECK IT OUT, BUT THEY COULD FIND NOTHING WRONG. I HAVE SINCE LEARNED THAT THE SHUDDERING EXPERIENCE IS NOT UNCOMMON IN THE RS5. APART FROM THE DISCOMFORT I AM CONCERNED THAT THERE COULD BE A SAFETY ISSUE.

The car is a blast to drive, and with drive select, you can customize your ride to be as aggressive as you want. You can choose from 16 different combinations of modes. The transmission is incredibly smooth, making gear changes seamless. The exhaust sound is fantastic, with loud downshifts and great sounding upshifts and acceleration sounds. The exterior design is subjective, but to me, it looks aggressive in a very good way. What makes this car even more special is that only 1,500 were made for the North American market in 2013 and 2014, as mentioned in NA Audi President Scott Keogh's video interview. In terms of performance, it beats the M3, M5, M6, and V8 R8 by a slim margin, according to caranddriver's lightning lap times. The car also has just enough efficiency to omit the Green tax.

This car has exceeded all of my expectations in every way. I've owned it for three years now and I still get excited every time I start the engine and hear that powerful roar. It's actually my second Audi, the previous one being the S5. When I saw this car on the dealer floor, I knew I had to have it. It's fun, sporty, and never fails to impress. Just a friendly warning, it's only for serious adrenaline junkies!

I've driven quite a few cars in my time, including the Porsche 911 Turbo, Ferrari 488, Mercedes E63, Golf R, A45, Cadillac CTSV 750Bhp, and many more. However, the RS5 is truly something special. I had the pleasure of driving it yesterday and flooring it for the first time, and the adrenaline rush and immediate off-the-line response were unforgettable. In my opinion, this car is borderline supercar territory. It's surprisingly affordable and easy to get your hands on, making it the perfect daily driver for anyone looking for a supercar experience. The road grip, gear shifts, screaming engine, aggressive and wide front end, road comfort, light weight steering, sexy but simplistic solid interior, and 2 seats in the back make this car the perfect recipe for an exotic ride that's practical enough for everyday use.

Very fast, handles great, and has a cool built-in exhaust note when shifting. The car also boasts beautiful lines. The only downside is the price, as it is quite expensive to get into with an MSRP of $82000 with options.

This is an amazing car! It's comfortable and roomy, even for someone over 6'2. The acceleration is great and the handling is superb, especially with the Quattro system. The seats are very comfortable and overall it's a very spacious sports car. In my opinion, it's one of the most undervalued sports cars out there. Simply great!
