11/21 update - Hey there! We're almost at 20,000 miles in our XC60 and I have to say, it's been an amazing ride so far! Not only is it comfortable and stylish, but it's also been super reliable. I absolutely adore Volvo's current designs - the XC60 and XC90 have both aged like fine wine. They're beautiful vehicles inside and out that were ahead of their time. Plus, Volvos feel solid as a rock. The door shuts with a confident thud that nearly feels like you're getting in an armored car. Other than regular service and a small evap hose leak that triggered the check engine light (replaced under warranty), our XC60 has been perfect. Even the infotainment has grown on me, though it does take some learning. My only concern with the XC60 is space. While it beats competitors like the Q5 and GLC, we're about to become a family of three that always brings our two dogs along. When it's just my wife and I, we can fill up this car pretty easily so we're considering trading up for the XC90. My wife fell in love with the styling of the newer Volvos and originally wanted the smaller XC40. The XC60 is just much more practical. I, too, fell in love with the design - particularly the LED daytime running lights and great interior. To me, the interior is class-leading and unlike anything I've seen another automaker attempt perhaps except for Tesla. However, I will say that function clearly took a backseat to the modern, minimalist interior design. I'm in my 30s and very tech-savvy and I can't imagine anyone over 50 operating this car without a lot of frustration. Essentially all of the controls are operated via the touchscreen interface. I don't personally have an issue with this but Volvo sorely needs to improve the user experience of their infotainment. It can be a lot of swiping and tapping to make even a simple AC adjustment. Plus, it can be slow to boot up when you start the car. The infotainment does have some upsides - crisp graphics, very clear back-up camera, etc.My other vehicle is a Jeep with Chrysler's excellent UConnect system, and I must admit, it's embarrassing how much more intuitive and responsive Chrysler's system is. However, the XC60 is still a beautiful car, and I do love it despite a few complaints. The T5 turbo-charged four cylinder is perfectly suited for this size vehicle, and I believe getting the T6 would be overkill. The exterior styling is elegant but not overdone, and the interior is top quality on every surface you touch. Although there are a few design choices that prioritize form over function, such as the placement of the old-school shifter and ignition switch in the center console, these things become more apparent as you spend time with the vehicle. I think Volvo is heading toward electrification, but a 6 cylinder is badly needed in their line-up. With some improvements in function, I believe this SUV would be an absolute home run.

The technology in this vehicle is truly impressive! From the electronic crystal embedded gear shift to the voice integration and pro pilot assist, it's loaded with features that make you feel like you're flying a plane. The plug-in hybrid has multiple engine modes, but make sure to use the Power mode to warm the 4 cyl turbo before use. To keep all of your options available, a 240-volt plug in your garage or carport is a must. The daily commute to the office (6 miles round trip) is quiet and smooth in all-electric ECO mode. If Volvo added a dash button (right side of volume knob) that selects the 360-degree camera, it would be the cherry on top!

The Volvo XC60 T6 is an excellent vehicle for driving through traffic and merging on highways. It has a sporty feel that is more akin to a sports car than a truck, which is a significant improvement from my previous Jeep Grand Cherokee. The seats are incredibly comfortable, and I had no issues with back, leg, or neck pain or stiffness during a nine-hour trip. The leg extender provides excellent support. The center touchscreen is impressive, although it may take some time to learn the system. While the voice recognition system only works half the time for car-related commands, there are no issues when using it with Apple Car Play. I highly recommend the Volvo XC60!

The Fusion red car looks great and the seats are comfortable, making for a comfortable drive on the freeway. However, there are some downsides to consider. The car is slow to accelerate and has a terrible lag when pressing the gas. Additionally, the infotainment system is not user-friendly and the car can be harsh on bumps. The gas mileage is also not as good as advertised, averaging 23 mpg instead of the expected 25-26. While the car looks new and modern, the electronics and engine feel outdated and clunky. Unfortunately, reselling the car was impossible, even when priced 3k below book for 2 months. In the end, I traded it in for a Mercedes at a loss. Overall, I would not recommend this car.

Although the car has an attractive appearance, there are some issues with the system not booting up when the car is turned on, resulting in a lack of heat/AC or radio for approximately 15 minutes while driving. Additionally, the display screen only works with Android when the phone is physically plugged into the car, and the voice response is consistently unhelpful. However, I am confident that I will be able to resolve these issues and continue to enjoy driving this car. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

In my 20+ years of leasing vehicles, I have had a disappointing experience with Volvo and Karp Volvo as a dealer. The XC90 and XC60 had several issues, including computer problems, electrical problems, battery problems, and issues with tires. Despite my concerns, the dealer was unhelpful and charged me excessively upon lease return. I suggest considering other brands for a more reliable car and better customer service. My experience with Volvo was a letdown, and I felt taken advantage of.

I leased a 2019 XC60 a few months ago and was really excited to finally get a Volvo (I had been wanting one for years). Unfortunately, I have had issues since day one. The biggest issue is the random braking for no reason, which has happened to me multiple times. I sent it back to the dealer for repair and they fixed other things that were wrong (bent rim, warped rotors, bad brake pads -side note, how is there THIS much wrong with a new car?). However, they said when they brought it back to me that nothing is wrong with the autobrake feature. If you're considering buying a car, I would recommend looking into other brands to save yourself the frustration and money.
