The car is surprisingly quiet yet sporty, with a turning radius that is also surprising. I expected it to be quick, but the traffic merging and passing power are even more impressive at highway speeds. The transition from electric to gas is seamless, and it's comfortable for long rides. We recently traveled over a thousand miles in two days and arrived feeling rested. The safety equipment is an added bonus. Most of our driving is around town, and we had the car for three weeks before adding a quarter of a tank of gas. The PHEV feature adds to the economy, quietness, and power of the vehicle. It's easy to drive, and the driver has good vision.

We recently leased a new 2023 XC60 Recharge and we are thrilled with it. It's the best vehicle we've ever owned, and we've owned both a BMW X5 and a Mercedes GLA. The XC60 is elegant and sophisticated, and it rides so smoothly. The power is incredible too. We highly recommend it!

Hello! I wanted to share my experience with my new 2023 XC60 plug-in hybrid (Recharge) that I bought three months ago. I must say, I am absolutely in love with it! After owning several BMWs, AUDIs, VWs, and Mercedes Benzes, I can confidently say that I will never go back to any of them. One of the things that makes this car so special is that my husband and I are longtime users of Google products, so we feel right at home asking Google to change the heat, fan, radio station, find a destination, or play a tune from YouTube Music. It's so convenient that we never have to take our hands off the steering wheel! In the three months that I've had the car, I've only had to fill it up once at a gas station, thanks to the 43 miles of EV range we get (sometimes it's even 47 miles in warmer New England weather!). Recharge vehicles come with two types of wall chargers, but we use the 220 exclusively and get a full charge in just 5 hours. Luckily, we have a garage! I know these cars can be expensive, but I truly believe that this might be a 'forever' car for me, even at 70+ years old in CT.

I had been admiring this car for some time. I was looking for a comfortable and easy-to-drive car, and that's exactly what I got! I test drove Mercedes and BMW, but I fell in love with the interior design and simplicity of the Volvo. It's surprisingly peppy to drive, and I love the understated luxury of the car. There's plenty of space in both the front and back seats, and the trunk space is good for the size of the car. I find the infotainment system very user-friendly, it works just like an iPhone. In fact, I appreciate the car's simplicity of controls... I dislike cars that are filled with unnecessary buttons. I would definitely recommend this car to others!

I recently purchased my first Volvo, an XC60, on April 21st and overall, my buying experience was great. The dealership I worked with near my home was very transparent throughout the purchase process, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, within 24 hours of taking delivery of my new car, the check engine light came on and my car has spent most of the days I have owned it back with the dealership. Despite this, the dealership has been very helpful in providing us with a loaner car. As a first-time Volvo owner, I had hoped for a better experience from such a world-renowned brand. However, I am still optimistic that they will make it right sooner than later. I will follow up with the outcome of this situation, so that other customers can know how Volvo deals with a vehicle that has seemingly unresolvable issues right off the lot. I encourage potential buyers to read reviews and do their homework before making a purchase, but I still believe that Volvo is a great brand and I am hopeful that they will resolve these issues for me.

My wife has owned 6 new Volvos over the years, all of which have been reliable. However, our 2023 XC60, which we purchased in March of '23, has been a disappointment. We have experienced several software issues, from the phone not linking to the car to the radio and turn signals shutting down. We have also had to bring the vehicle in for check engine issues six times to date. While we appreciate the understanding of the dealership, it is unfortunate that Volvo has shipped and sold vehicles with known issues. We have been loyal to this brand, but this will be our last purchase from them. We hope that Volvo will take responsibility for these issues and improve their reliability. We are not alone in our experience, and we will share our story with others to help them make informed decisions.

Our Volvo XC60 B5 Plus Dark experienced engine overheating twice, the first time being less than 800 miles after purchase and the second time at around 2200 miles, which resulted in engine seizure. Despite the inconvenience, we are confident in Volvo's ability to fix the issue and have been patiently waiting for two months to get our car back.
