I'm so glad to hear that you've had such a positive experience with your car! It sounds like it's been a reliable and trustworthy vehicle for you. Even with 220,000 miles on it, it's still running smoothly and passing emissions inspections with ease. While there may be a few rattles here and there, it's clear that this car has served you well. Thank you for sharing your experience with me!

Apart from a rebuilt transfer case (which Mitsubishi kindly paid for, even though the car was 15 years old and had 140,000 miles on it), the car has been fantastic. It's probably the most enjoyable car I've ever driven. Even now, with 200,000 miles on it (and I think the previous owner was quite rough with it), it's still a joy to drive. The car was truly ahead of its time, with its excellent handling (thanks to 4-wheel steering), superb traction (thanks to AWD), and great gearbox.

Purchased with 11000 miles, now has 129,000 miles and still running smoothly. Just remember to change the oil and filter regularly. Over the course of 100,000 miles, it has averaged an impressive 28.5 MPG. Even with the A/C on and cruising at 80 to 85 on the highway, it still manages to get over 33 MPG.

Hey there! I just wanted to share my experience with this car. It's built like a bullet and has all the basics covered. I've actually driven it for over 135000 miles and I've only had minor problems. Pretty impressive, right?

I think that for a car from 1992, it is just as good, if not better, than any new car.

It's great to hear that you've had such a positive experience with your 1993 Galant s since 1994! It sounds like it's been a reliable car for you, even better than an Accord. The auto four speed and overdrive button on the gear shift are particularly impressive features, and it's great to hear that the six speaker stereo sounds fantastic. It's also worth noting that the car has an attractive design both inside and out. While the suspension has been a bit of a drawback in the last two years, it's understandable given the age of the car. It's a shame that they don't sell them in Canada anymore, as you would definitely consider buying another one if they did!

This is a solid, well-built car that offers a comfortable ride. However, the LS model with automatic transmission has poor acceleration. Mitsubishi has included both an overdrive switch and a power/economy switch, but it seems that the overdrive is only useful for freeway driving, as the car's mileage is below 18 mpg in town no matter which mode is used. If you're considering this car, we recommend avoiding the automatic transmission. On the other hand, the car handles well, is easy to drive, and offers plenty of room and comfort. While the fuel injection may seem unnecessary, it does contribute to the car's overall performance.

The gear system of my car has encountered a serious issue. Despite the relatively low mileage of 120K, the gearbox has broken down. While the spare parts are expensive, I am confident in my ability to address this issue and get my car back on the road.

Hey there! We received this 'free' vehicle and unfortunately, we've had to replace the transmission, the distributor, and about 4 other gauges/sensors that I can't even remember. We've spent almost $4,000 on this car that Edmunds.com values at about $600. On top of that, it is now burning oil at a prodigious rate and the passenger front window doesn't work. Sometimes you even have to hit the driver's side in the door to get it to work.
