2015 Mazda Mazda5 problems
The Mazda Premacy (Japanese: マツダ・プレマシー, Hepburn: Matsuda Puremashī) is a passenger minivan that was built by the Japanese manufacturer Mazda from 1999 to 2018.
The first generation Premacy was built in Japan and exported to Europe and Asia. A rebadged version was sold by Ford in a few Asian markets (including Japan) as the Ford Ixion or Ixion MAV.
The second generation onward is sold outside Japan as the Mazda5. Ford Lio Ho in Taiwan, which assembles Mazda5 for the local market, adapted a re-badged version as the Ford i-Max from 2007 until 2011.
The first generation Premacy was a two- or three-row, five- or seven-passenger vehicle, while the second generation adds a third row of seats for up to six passengers in American form, and seven passengers outside the United States. Both generations feature near-flat floors, folding or removable second row, and fold-flat rear seats.

This minivan is a great choice for families just starting out. It has sliding doors on both sides, which was a top priority for us with three toddlers. We opted for the Touring trim, which has all the features we need without any unnecessary extras like a built-in navigation system or sunroof. The Bluetooth phone capability is easy to set up and use, and the rear seats are perfect for small kids. While the leg room in the rear seats is a bit tight for adults, it's possible to adjust the seats in the first and second rows to comfortably seat four adults and two children. We primarily use this car for short trips with the kids, so the cargo space is not a big concern for us. Overall, we are very happy with this car and would give it five stars. Although there are some areas for improvement, it exceeded our expectations and is a great value for the price. (April 2016 update: We have owned this car for just over 6 months and have noticed some minor issues with vibration at idle and cold air in the 2nd and 3rd rows when using the heater. We have a service visit scheduled to address these issues.)Whenever one of our two paired iPhones is nearby, the car automatically links to it and starts playing music or podcasts. While this is a minor annoyance, it's a small price to pay for the convenience it provides. In October 2016, we took the car to the dealer to understand why A/C or Heat isn't routed directly to the rear passengers. We discovered that the 2nd and 3rd rows can only get air circulated from the front of the cabin, which can be frustrating for parents with toddlers who don't want to wait for the A/C and heat to make its way back to the rear seats gradually. Additionally, the lack of legroom isn't going to be sustainable as our children grow - we're already at our limit with a 6 year old, 4 year old, and 2 year old. Despite these minor drawbacks, I still find the van to be an exceptional value for a starter family.

I would definitely recommend this wagon if someone called and asked me.

Especially for a family of 4, you'll love the sliding doors which make it easy to access child seats. Additionally, the vehicle's narrow design is perfect for the H1 freeway's narrowing lanes and parking spaces. The gas mileage is also decent for a four cylinder. Overall, it's a great choice for families on the go!

This vehicle is perfect for city living, but may not be the best choice for larger families or those who live further out. Its small size makes parking a breeze and allows it to fit into tight spaces. The cargo space is impressive and easy to load and unload. However, the front seats may feel a bit cramped for individuals over 6 feet tall. As with most Mazdas, there is some road noise and tire roar, especially at higher speeds like 70 mph on Western state highways. Despite this, the vehicle has great handling and adequate power.

Although the price was reasonable, it unfortunately doesn't quite replace a van. Once you put up the third row, there is barely any space left for storage. We purchased this vehicle to replace our T&C because we wanted better gas mileage while still being able to accommodate four kids. While it can hold four kids, it doesn't leave any room for a stroller or shopping bags. It is designed for either occasional back row seating or as a four-seater with trunk space.
