Throughout its production, the MKT was assembled by Ford of Canada at its Oakville Assembly facility at Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

- Summary: Rear toe-link failure, and part is available. The failure occurred while I was driving, about 20 mph, heard a loud noise from the back of the vehicle. The vehicle swerved a bit but managed to regain control and come to a complete stop. Was not diagnosed by the dealership, but have determined,through TSB lookup, that this component has been a failure point across various Ford models including the MKT. No sensor warnings on the dashboard or messages, but was hearing intermittent clunking noises coming from rear of vehicle for about 2 weeks before incident. Usually heard it when rolling over bumps.

- Remedy: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the alternator and starter motor power supply cables to verify that they are properly secured, correcting them as necessary, free of charge. The recall began September 26, 2018. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 18S25.

Our MKT has been with us for over a year now, and it continues to exceed our expectations. It's spacious, comfortable, powerful, and surprisingly agile for a vehicle of its size. It's perfect for long road trips, and it's so comfortable that you might forget how long you've been driving (but don't worry, it will remind you when it's time for a break!). The electronic features are very effective, especially the adaptive cruise control, which is simply amazing. The lane departure system is equally useful and predictable. Some people find the styling to be controversial, but I personally think it's long, low, elegant, and even a bit menacing. The low center of gravity also helps with handling.

I really love my car, it's cool and classy and stands out from all the other boring SUVs on the road. My lease for my 2013 MKT is up soon and I'm considering buying another one. I've test driven other SUVs like the Enclave, MDX, and QX60, but none of them compare to the excitement I feel behind the wheel of my MKT. The powerful ecoboost engine gives me great confidence when I need to pass another driver. I also appreciate having the benefits of a minivan without actually having to drive one. My husband agrees that buying another MKT when my lease is up is the best decision. Lincoln, please don't stop making the MKT! It's a classy SUV that outperforms any other SUV in this price range.

I recently rented a vehicle and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The ride was exceptional, with ample power and comfortable seating. The interior was spacious and well-designed, and the vehicle handled beautifully. While the fan and radio volume could have been stronger, overall it was an excellent ride.

The car is comfortable, roomy, quiet, and powerful enough when needed with the Ecoboost. Personally, I left a Ford Flex for it, so the styling is not an issue for me. Actually, I like both. However, I understand that some owners have experienced issues with the light cluster that covers the width of the tailgate, which is known to take water and mess with the electrical of your lights and back-up camera. The climate control may also act up and go to high on its own. While these issues are disappointing, Lincoln does not recognize them past the warranty and offers no good-will program or help. Despite these issues, I still believe that Lincoln is a great brand and I hope they will address these concerns in the future. For now, I am still considering the Aviator for next year. Budget gave me one to replace a charger rt. With all the failings of dodges, they are far superior to this Lincoln. It has all the annoying technology but the ride is unbearable.
