- Manufacturer: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing
- Components: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS
- Summary: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2007-2011 Lexus GS350 and GS450h, 2006-2013 Lexus IS350 and 2010-2014 Lexus IS350C vehicles, equipped with 3.5L V6 2GR-FSE gasoline engines. The diaphragms in the fuel pulsation dampers may harden over time and develop cracks, possibly causing a fuel leak.
- Consequence: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
- Remedy: Toyota will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel delivery pipe with a new pipe that has improved pulsation dampers, free of charge. The recall began August 23, 2018. Owners may contact Lexus customer service at 1-800-255-3987. Toyota's number for this recall is JLF.
- Manufacturer: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing
- Components: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS
- Summary: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain model year 2007-2010 Lexus LS vehicles manufactured May 9, 2006, to July 20, 2010, 2006-2011 Lexus GS vehicles manufactured January 6, 2005, to September 10, 2010, and 2006-2011 Lexus IS vehicles manufactured August 30, 2005, to September 10, 2010. Due to anti-corrosion plating remnants, fuel may leak from where the fuel pressure sensor is attached to the fuel delivery pipe.
- Consequence: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
- Remedy: Toyota will notify owners, and dealers will clean and reseal the fuel pressure sensor mounting area, free of charge. The recall began March 3, 2015. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331.
- Manufacturer: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing
- Components: ENGINE
- Summary: Toyota is recalling certain model year 2007-2011 Lexus GS350 vehicles manufactured June 19, 2006, through July 12, 2011; and model year 2006-2011 Lexus IS350 vehicles manufactured May 27, 2005, through July 13, 2011; and model year 2010-2011 Lexus IS350c vehicles manufactured November 25, 2009, through July 19, 2011. This car is amazing! The writer had a bad experience with their previous car, so they were looking for something different. The GS is incredibly fast, luxurious, and has great build quality. The factory audio is pretty good, but the writer wishes they had the Levinson sound option. The writer has put 40,000 miles on the car and still loves it! They have had to repair the left rear door lock mechanism, but other than that, just routine maintenance. Overall, the writer loves this car and has no desire to trade it in or upgrade.

I bought a 2011 GS350 from a Lexus dealer in 2016. It was a CPO car with 48K miles and came with 2 years of free service, including pickup and delivery by the Lexus dealer. In my opinion, the whole CPO package - price, service, and warranty - was outstanding. If you're in the market, I highly recommend looking into Lexus CPO. This year of Lexus still has many elegant touches that newer models are beginning to lose. For example, the trunk hinges are complex, articulated affairs, and the lid flips up past vertical, moving the edge away from the loading area. There are lots of other elegant, clever, and useful touches that are definitely not entry-level. It's exactly what you expect when you hear The car recently crossed 90K miles and was serviced by an independent shop at a reasonable cost. I am currently considering replacements, not because there is anything wrong with this car, but simply because I am a person who loves trying out different cars. However, I believe that this particular GS350 still has many tens of thousands of miles left in it and will make its next owner very happy.

As a long-time fan of the BMW 3-series, I was in the market for a bigger car and naturally considered the 5-series. However, after test driving both the 5-series and the GS 350 and comparing their features, the Lexus made a lot more sense. While the GS-350 may not be as fun to drive as the 3-series BMW, it is still a great car. It handles very well in the snow, is powerful, and incredibly comfortable. I quickly learned to love it and now look forward to driving it whenever I can.

I recently switched from a 2008 BMW 535i xDrive to the GS350 AWD. Initially, my BMW dealer warned me that I might be disappointed with the GS350 AWD in comparison. However, I found that he couldn't have been more wrong. The GS350 AWD handles better in every way. Although the performance may be slightly less than the 535i, I don't miss it at all. The GS is tighter and the luxury aspect is much better. I have found that Lexus of Ann Arbor has been able to answer all my questions and they seem to know a lot more than the BMW people did. I am thrilled to say that this is the best vehicle I have ever owned. I usually only keep cars for about 2 years, but I am already excited to see what Lexus does to make this vehicle even better. I am very happy with my purchase and would strongly recommend it!

I've been driving this car for two years now, after never thinking I'd get rid of my IS-350. However, I needed something bigger and with more features, and this car is still awesome after two years. It's not as fun to drive as the IS, but it's a more laid-back ride that has more features and makes you feel more important when driving it. The only things I would improve are the trunk space, speaker sound, and the passenger side wiper blade. Also, I'd add the sunglass stowage back to this car. Why did they remove it? All in all, I still love this car. As a big Lexus fan, I'm pretty happy with the choice I made to trade my IS in for the GS.

The car has some noticeable issues such as a squeaky dash, occasional coolant smell, and a sulfur smell from the exhaust when the windows are down in the summer. Despite being a nice car, the price and frequency of these issues make it difficult for me to recommend. Additionally, I have found that Lexus dealerships can be dismissive when approached with these issues. Overall, I believe there is room for improvement in both the car and the customer service provided by Lexus.

I've been driving for 40 years and have never bothered to check the mpg of my car. I've been experiencing some issues and have been trying to get some help from the dealer since day one. On average, I get about 13 mpg whether I'm driving on the freeway or city streets, but I was able to get it up to 15 mpg on the road. I've heard some unhelpful comments from Lexus, but I'm still concerned. If other drivers are experiencing similar issues, I would really appreciate hearing about it. Currently, my car has 3000 miles on it.
