I purchased this car about 3 months ago and have driven it for around 5k miles. While the gas mileage is averaging at 41MPG, which is not far from the published range, I must admit that I am quite disappointed with this vehicle for several reasons. One of the primary reasons I bought this car was for its known comfort in ride and low overall noise level. However, I am not sure if it is due to the Bridgestone tires it came with, but it is not as comfortable as I expected. You can feel all the imperfections on the road, and it does not feel as planted and solid as I would like. Additionally, the noise level from the tires and wind is noticeably worse than my previous Nissan Altima. Compared to my other Mercedes GLE, this car feels very light and tinny. While I am currently stuck with this set of tires, I am not sure if a different set of tires will dramatically improve this issue. I should have looked more into other brands of cars, but I guess I trusted the reputation that Lexus carries. If you are looking for a quiet, solid, and comfortable luxury vehicle (not a real one, but good enough), this car may not deliver. However, I hope that at least this car stays trouble-free.

I recently traded in my 2019 RX FSport 450 Hybrid for the 2021 ES 300h with the Luxury package. Although I have no major complaints, I do wish it had a touchscreen. I must say, the power for a hybrid is truly impressive and the ride is incredibly smooth and quiet!

I leased the car on May 30, 2021 in Seattle because I had heard great things about Lexus vehicles being comfortable. However, I have been experiencing some issues with the car. The registration plates arrived, but unfortunately, the screws to attach them were missing. Additionally, I have been having trouble adjusting the seat to a comfortable level, as I keep sliding forward and have to constantly readjust. The seat itself is also quite hard and uncomfortable. I have noticed that the road noise in the cab is quite loud, even with all the windows up, which is surprising for a Lexus. I can even feel the tire rolling on the pavement through my feet. Lastly, the car does not lock on its own when I leave it, which is a bit inconvenient. Overall, I have been disappointed with the ES300h and I am currently exploring options to break my lease. I would not recommend this car to anyone.

I bought a car with the expectation of getting 44/43 mpg, but after 6+ months of use, the best mpg I have achieved is around 38. When I took it to be inspected, I was informed that 37/38 mpg is considered acceptable. I am disappointed as I was told to expect better, especially since it is a LEXUS. :(

The car has a soft ride, which is great for long trips. However, the handling could be improved with better suspension tuning and wider tires. The Mark Levinson system is definitely the highlight of the car, as it sounds really good. Although, the infotainment system is not very user-friendly. The camera quality is also not up to par, especially when compared to my first vehicle with a backup camera in 2013. The wood trim feels like cheap plastic, which is a bit disappointing. I personally wish I had waited for the Mercedes E Class to become available. Hopefully, once the chip shortage is over, I can upgrade to a 5 Series, E Class, or A6. Overall, the car has its pros and cons, but it's definitely worth considering if you're looking for a comfortable ride.
