The Ford Super Duty (also known as the Ford F-Series Super Duty) is a series of heavy-duty pickup trucks produced by the Ford Motor Company since the 1999 model year. The heavier-duty chassis components allow for heavier payloads and towing capabilities. With a GVWR over 8,500 lb (3,900 kg), Super Duty pickups are Class 2 and 3 trucks, while chassis-cab trucks are offered in Classes 3, 4, 5, and 6. The model line also offers Ford Power Stroke V8 diesel engines as an option.
Ford also offers a medium-duty version of the F-Series (F-650 and F-750), which is sometimes branded as the Super Duty, but is another chassis variant. The Super Duty pickup truck also served as the basis for the Ford Excursion full-sized SUV.
The Super Duty trucks and chassis-cabs are assembled at the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, Kentucky, and at Ohio Assembly in Avon Lake, Ohio. Prior to 2016, medium-duty trucks were assembled in Mexico under the Blue Diamond Truck joint venture with Navistar International.

- Summary: What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Lane Keeping Assistance. It is available for inspection. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? When Lane Keeping Assistance is engaged the truck steers the truck off-center to the right, uncomfortably to the right. At times it's riding the right lane line, but maintains at least twice as much distance on the left as the right and up to no distance on the right. While the system is engaged, I am continually fighting the steering input to correct it to the left. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? I reported the problem to MacHaik Ford, the one service advisor I spoke had not heard of the issue. Forums online indicate the problem is present on 2024 models but not prior to 2024; other owners of 2024 SuperDuty trucks have commented that their vehicle also over-corrects to the right. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? No. I reported the issue to Ford Customer Service over the phone today (2nd day of ownership), have not heard back from Ford yet. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No warning signals.

I get these messages but Ford service is too backed up to address the issue within a reasonable amount of time and they will not let me get it serviced outside of their dealer network.

- Summary: I have 2100 miles on 2023 f350 6.7l high output and saw as I was walking up to it a puddle of diesel on the ground. - Summary: Highway travel at approx 65mph, experienced a sudden violent uncontrollable steering wheel movement known as a death wobble. Uncontrollable steering wheel movement increased resulting in a reactionary driver hard breaking application to try and regain control of the vehicle steering WITHOUT checking rear view mirror for other motorists close behind. Speed dropped to approx 30-35mph before regaining control of steering. Fortunately no vehicles were following close behind or the affected vehicle and other highway occupants may have resulted in a crash caused by the uncontrollable vehicle and sudden breaking. Components/systems involved include front suspension/steering. Dealer #1 stated vehicle was inspected and found no abnormal wear or damage, all specs within limits. Dealer #2 found steering damper depleted requiring replacement (warranty covered), and front end alignment found out of specifications requiring addition parts installed at owner cost ($787), all while under warranty at approx 19000mi at time of occurrence. No prior symptoms or indications. One owner/driver vehicle since new. Incident occurred without warning and immediate unsafe driving conditions occured. Trip continued for approx 1000mi without further incident until inspected by 2 Ford dealerships until some sort of corrective action applied.

- Summary: While driving above 6mph, my truck is supposed to have 4 rear facing camera views available per the owners manual, normal rear view, bed camera, hitch view and trailer auxiliary view. Only 2 of the cameras work as described. It has been at the dealer several times, about 3 weeks total and Ford engineering was involved in the repair attempt. At first the engineer said it should work as described in the owners manual then after 2 weeks at the dealer now they're saying because it did not work when the truck was new that its normal. This is a safety concern because I cannot check the hitch view while driving, the bed camera works so you can check a fifth wheel hitch while driving but not a bumper pull. I have contacted Ford and my case number is CXH-02221093-H2Y9Q4.

I have taken pictures or videos as evidence where I could when it was safe to do so. It started in April but started documenting it in May after several repeat issues. - Summary: Within the first 200 miles of ownership i noticed the truck pulls right and is difficult to steer left with the lane assist control switched off. The dealership i bought it from has replaced the electric motor which controls the lane assist and has performed 2 alignments. The dealership stated Ford instructed them to change the steering motor, the condition still exists. The dealership then stated other trucks on their lot act the same way and according to Ford if more then 2 trucks act this way it is a condition of the truck's design. I have request a Ford engineer update the software on the truck because older models do not act this way. I am concerned the situation can worsen and the truck can drive off the road or the electric motor will over heat from trying to correct all the time. The truck has been at the dealership since 6/28/2024.
