THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE WAS UNKNOWN. THREE DAYS AFTER THE FIRE OCCURRED THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FROM THE MANUFACTURER REGARDING THE CRUISE CONTROL WHICH STATED THAT A FIRE COULD OCCUR. THE CONTACT WANTS THE MANUFACTURER TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIRS. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 220,000.

Consequence: IN THE EVENT OF AN ENGINE STALL, A CRASH COULD RESULT WITHOUT WARNING.
