I WAS TOLD THAT MY VIN DIDN'T MATCH THE U67 CATALYST EMISSION RECALL THAT INCLUDED MY VEHICLE DESCRIPTION, TRIM, MAKE AND MODEL. THE RECALL SHOULD HAVE EXPANDED TO 3.6 LITERS AS WELL, CONSIDERING THE PROBLEM IS AN EXACT MATCH. I EXPECT DODGE WILL RECTIFY THIS EMISSIONS PROBLEM, CONSIDERING THAT GA RESIDENTS WILL FIND THIS SUV USELESS IN SUCH A STRICT EMISSION STATE.

- Consequence: Unexpected deployment of the driver's frontal air bag increases the risk of a crash or driver injury.
- Remedy: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the air bag wiring within the steering wheel, replacing it if necessary. A protective cover will also be installed. These repairs will be made free of charge. The recall began August 28, 2017. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is T47.

I have a 2011 SXT 7 passenger and I absolutely love it! The only thing that confuses me is the towing capacity, which seems to be limited to a maximum of 2500 lbs.

Hey there! I've heard a lot about the battery problem in 2011 Dodge Journeys. I actually had this problem with mine too and took it in constantly. Unfortunately, my dealer couldn't find the problem, but they did replace my battery and it's been fine ever since. The only thing that's a bit annoying is that my check engine light comes on sometimes without any code showing up.

I purchased a 2010 Dodge Journey 8 months ago and unfortunately, I have been experiencing some issues with it lately. Specifically, the car won't turn over and it reacts like a dead battery, even though everything else seems to be working fine (radio, door chimes, lights, etc.). My neighbor tried to jumpstart the car, but it still wouldn't start. Although I had the WIN module replaced due to a recall, the problem persisted and the car wouldn't crank again 4 weeks later. After several attempts and about 30 minutes, the car finally turned over. The battery was tested and it seems to be functioning properly. Despite my frustration, the dealer has been unable to identify the problem and they don't believe it is the starter. While I have had some issues with this car, I want to emphasize that this is my personal experience and I don't intend to discourage anyone from purchasing a Dodge Journey. I confidently understand the frustration that comes with owning a car that doesn't start when you need it to. Despite the challenges, I purchased my 2010 Dodge Journey RT two years ago. Unfortunately, it has spent more time in the shop than in my own garage due to the 'dead battery syndrome.' I have attempted to jump-start the car without success, and Dodge has been unable to identify the issue. However, during my last visit, they suggested a computer update, which they believe will resolve the problem. Although it did not work the last time, I remain optimistic that this time it will be successful.

I've owned this car for about two years now. Unfortunately, the oddball tire size makes it quite expensive to replace them (even more so than my 1 ton 4X4). We've had to replace the radio system three times already, and the amp has been replaced twice. Recently, the backup camera has stopped working and the Check Engine light keeps coming on with a code for a miss-fire. To top it off, there's a strange noise coming from the front end every time I hit the brakes. Despite these issues, I still have only put 24000 miles on it. Interestingly, many of the new Dodge cars at my job seem to have similar problems.

I had a less than satisfactory experience with the vehicle I leased. Unfortunately, it required major repairs too often and I had to break my lease early. The brakes and rotors needed replacement after only 9500 miles, and the check engine light came on twice due to camshaft issues. The last time it lost one of the cylinders, which was very disappointing. Additionally, the exterior panels had poor fit and finish, and I even cut my finger on the rear door edge plate. However, I am now very happy with my new 2013 Toyota Rav4.

My 2011 Journey, purchased in July of that year, has been in the shop five times now. While I haven't experienced the dead battery issue, I have encountered most other problems. Sometimes, it seems like the car doesn't want to be left alone. When I get out and lock the doors, it fights back by honking and unlocking the doors multiple times. When I start the car, the dash lights sometimes flicker between bright and dim. Additionally, the HVAC system occasionally turns on at full blast and sets the temperature to 84 degrees. Strangely, it won't turn off until I open the door. Despite these issues, I remain confident in my ability to handle them and ensure my car runs smoothly.
