Common 2023 Chrysler Pacifica problems

The 2023 Chrysler Pacifica has been reported to have several common problems by its owners. These issues span across various aspects of the vehicle, including its electronics, transmission, and safety features.

  • Internal transmission failure: Transmission problems are another common issue with the 2023 Chrysler Pacifica. Some owners have reported experiencing jerking, hard shifts, and failure to shift gears when needed. These issues have resulted in the need for battery replacement and transmission repair.
  • Suspension issues: Owners have also reported experiencing suspension issues, which make the ride feel like sitting in a loose box of matches, especially when driving over bumps or potholes.
  • Infotainment system problems: The infotainment system in the 2023 Chrysler Pacifica has also been reported to have issues. Some owners have reported experiencing errors in the Uconnect system, which have been described as a known issue with no clear timeline for resolution.
  • Sensors and emission-control devices: Some owners have reported problems with sensors and emission-control devices, including O₂ sensors and emission-control devices. These issues have resulted in the need for replacement of the sensors and emission-control devices.
  • Steering, transmission, and suspension problems: The 2023 Chrysler Pacifica has also been reported to have issues with its steering, transmission, and suspension. Some owners have reported experiencing problems with the nine-speed automatic gearbox, which can start to run jerky and dry before finally breaking down.
  • Recall issues: The 2023 Chrysler Pacifica has been subject to a recall due to a wiring connector inside the transmission that could short-circuit in some cases, resulting in a loss of power. This issue has affected all model years from 2017 to 2023, specifically the Pacifica hybrid.
  • Stalling issue: Some owners have reported that the vehicle has stalled out while stopped at a red light, with the electronics still working but the engine shut off. This issue has occurred infrequently and randomly, making it difficult for dealerships to diagnose and repair.

These issues have resulted in frustration for many owners of the 2023 Chrysler Pacifica, with some reporting that they cannot even put their families back into the vehicle due to safety concerns. While the vehicle has many positive features, such as a spacious interior and good electronics, these common problems have detracted from the overall ownership experience for many.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-09-11
  • VIN: 2C4RC1L7XPR
  • Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
  • Summary: Keys were inside car with only an infant inside and the doors were locked with no other key fob anywhere nearby. There must have been an issue with the car’s safety system to unlock the car in this situation. There was no 3 beeps that would unlock the car. Car was parked in Walmart parking lot in the heat. Remote start was on, key fob was in drivers seat. The last door to close was the drivers side rear sliding door. Wife called me from a shopper’s phone since hers was also locked in the car. I frantically drove with the other key fob a few miles to where they were to unlock. It was a traumatic experience for her and our son who was stuck inside the car. Thankfully I got there in time to unlock with the other key fob and everyone is okay.

POWER TRAIN PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-08-23
  • VIN: 2C4RC1S72PR
  • Components: POWER TRAIN
  • Summary: Fourth time! Car suddenly shut down on highway with message to stop safely soon. I retrieved codes which were PAO78. I do this every time since these codes will clear when power is removed from the vehicle. The dealer says there is nothing they can do since codes are no longer there when I bring it in. This car is UNSAFE when this happens on the highway.

SEATS PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-06-27
  • VIN: 2C4RC1S75PR
  • Components: SEATS
  • Summary: Part number 68324912AC on both 2nd row seats has failed. The plastic housing encasing the spring broke on top for one seat, and on bottom for the other seat. Now the seat back does not lock in position. When the seat back tilts far enough forward, the seat slides freely forwards and backwards. I have called a few dealerships and no one has the part in stock. It is on back order due to the number of vehicles that have had this problem. Luckily the the parts broke before we were driving and we noticed the issue before someone sat in those seats. Otherwise, they could have been injured just from normal braking, and would not have been safe in an accident.

POWER TRAIN,UNKNOWN OR OTHER,ENGINE PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-08-03
  • VIN: 2C4RC1S70PR
  • Components: POWER TRAIN,UNKNOWN OR OTHER,ENGINE
  • Summary: I bought a new 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid in March 2024. In April 2024, mileage 2,301, while driving on neighborhood roads, this warning message appeared: "Stop Safely Vehicle Will Shut Off Soon" and the Engine Check/Malfunction Indicator Warning light illuminated. I had about 15-30 seconds to pull over and then the vehicle lost all power. All warnings were gone the next morning so I hoped it had been a glitch. 3 days later it happened again (mileage 2,559). I didn't think it was a glitch anymore so I had the vehicle towed to an authorized Chrysler dealer. STAR (Chrysler) advised them to check PIM connectors and return the vehicle to me. I had been unable to drive the vehicle for 15 days. Less than a month later, mileage 3,933, it happened again. I had it towed again to the same dealer. This time STAR advised and approved replacing the transmission. This incident added 28 days of being unable to drive the vehicle, for a total of 43 days. 23 days later, while driving on an out-of-state highway, mileage 5,012, it happened again. This was extremely dangerous since we were driving at highway speed and did not have much time to pull over before the vehicle shut off. I had it towed to an authorized dealer near where I was staying out of state. That dealer performed repairs even though I didn't authorize any. I have no reason to believe that Chrysler can fix the problem.

UNKNOWN OR OTHER PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-08-08
  • VIN: 2C4RC1L72PR
  • Components: UNKNOWN OR OTHER
  • Summary: We have had our 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid since [XXX]. This was a factory ordered vehicle. There have been no indications that there is any issue with the vehicle. About a week ago while driving the vehicle a warning came on the speedometer screen that said "Pull over safely the vehicle is about to turn off". The check engine light also came on. Once the vehicle was pulled over to the side of the road and stopped the vehicle turned itself off. After waiting a few minutes the vehicle was able to be restarted and driven about 5 minutes home. The check engine light remained on. We did not drive the vehicle again until we were taking it to the dealership to be inspected. The check engine light was on the entire drive from our home to the dealership, which is about 10-15 minutes. The vehicle has now been at our local Chrysler dealership for 6 days. The technician at the dealership is telling us the code stored in the vehicle memory means it needs a new transmission. We are being told they need to replicate the issue for the warranty to cover a new transmission being put in. If they cannot replicate the issue, we are to take the vehicle back and continue to drive it until it happens again and then immediately have it towed to the dealership so they can receive warranty approval to replace the transmission. My research has revealed this is a known issue in Pacifica Hybrids regarding stalling due to a transmission sensor. I called Chrysler to clarify the warranty process and if there is a recall on my vehicle. The warranty process is correct and there is currently not a recall for this issue on our Pacifica Hybrid. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,UNKNOWN OR OTHER PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-07-10
  • VIN: 2C4RC1S74PR
  • Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,UNKNOWN OR OTHER
  • Summary: Vehicle was purchased new on [XXX]. 360 surround cameras and Connect box malfunctioned and vehicle was brought in for service on July 10, 2024. I was told by the service advisor that the camera was a poor connection and simply plugged back in but they were unable to reproduce the UConnect issue and that it was currently working. On [XXX] I started the vehicle in my driveway and it immediately entered "limp mode" with a large red turtle appearing on the dash and the check engine light illuminated. The vehicle would not drive greater than 5mph and posed a safety risk on the road so was towed to the dealer. The hybrid battery coolant hose was replaced and I picked up the vehicle on [XXX]. The diagnostic code relayed to me was P0C44-00. On [XXX], I started the vehicle in a family member's driveway and it again entered limp mode with the red turtle and check engine light displayed. The vehicle was again not able to be driven and was towed to the dealer. Chrysler engineers are now involved in the repair. I do not know if the previous camera and UConnect Box issues are related to the red turtle limp mode. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

ENGINE PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-08-09
  • VIN: 2C4RC1L75PR
  • Components: ENGINE
  • Summary: We have less than 3K miles currently on this vehicle. We were traveiling to the mountains for a vacation when the check engine light illuminated. Stayed on for 2 days and reset itself. We were in the Smokey Mountains and a warning came up to "Stop Safely Vehicle will shut off soon. Within a few minutes, all power was lost, all lights were inoperational including the 4 way hazards. After just a few minutes, the van restarted and operated as if nothing happened. The check engine light stayed on long enough for a Chrysler dealer to read the codes. Esentially, a problem with the High Voltage System Interlock Circuit A, Drive Motor A Inverter Performance are the major codes. A slew of others all related to this issue. The hybrid mechanic stated it is the same issues that plague the 2017-2021 Pacificas hybrids. Losing all power is not acceptable, especially in the mountains with a vehicle less than 4 months since delivery.

UNKNOWN OR OTHER,ENGINE PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-07-31
  • VIN: 2C4RC1N76PR
  • Components: UNKNOWN OR OTHER,ENGINE
  • Summary: I bought a new 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle from the dealership with 20 miles on it. The next day, I was driving the car and exiting the highway when it said “rear safety alert, vehicle will shut off.” The car turned off and my kids and I were stranded on the highway exit blocking traffic. I called the dealership and they picked it up to try to see what was wrong. I was told it needed a new battery from sitting in the dealership for months . We considered trading in the car since I know longer felt safe, but I trusted them to fix it and make it safe. Once I got the car back, within 24 hours it did the exact same thing and shut down while entering the highway this time. The car is currently at the dealership again. I do not feel safe that it will not randomly keep turning off.

STEERING,ENGINE PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-06-19
  • VIN: 2C4RC1L71PR
  • Components: STEERING,ENGINE
  • Summary: While driving with my young family my vehicles engine shut off and all steering was lost going appx. 50mph. As the the vehicle shut off, a warning popped up and said “stop safely, vehicle will shut off soon.” This was very dangerous and could have caused a life treating injury.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-07-03
  • VIN: 2C4RC1N72PR
  • Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE
  • Summary: We are currently on a family vacation going from CA to Nebraska and our 2023 Chrysler Pacifica hybrid completely shut down on us while driving through Las Vegas. A warning came up on the dash stating “slow down, engine will be shutting down”. We were on a main freeway and almost got hit because of this. We had our two kids in the car and are so upset this happened especially because we just bought the vehicle in May 2024 and this is the second time this has happened to us. We had to pay for a rental vehicle out of pocket to continue our trip and get our van towed to a nearby dealership in Las Vegas. It is currently sitting at the dealership and we have no idea how long it’s going to take to get fixed or how we are going to get it back to CA.

POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-07-01
  • VIN: 2C4RC1S7XPR
  • Components: POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
  • Summary: The check engine light came on suddenly and the vehicle stopped while driving down street. The dashboard read Park car safely. Engine is going to shut down. However, car stopped almost immediately leaving me stranded in the middle of a highly traveled state route. The Check engine code read Drive Motor A Inverter Performance. Mechanic stated it was an internal short in the transmission control module.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-05-31
  • VIN: 2C4RC1S7XPR
  • Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
  • Summary: Dash displayed "no bus" at the range level along with every error message possible. All of a sudden it goes haywire. Can't tell what speed you're going, you can put gas to floor and no acceleration, power steering comes and goes, wipers turn on and off, let go of the brake and it accelerates on its own, you name it. Van will not shift in and out of gear and will not turn off even when holding down start button. We've taken it in three times second and third time was towed in, and now it's happening again. They can't find anything wrong with it (other than 60+ error codes). They reset the codes and then drive it and say it didn't happen to them so they have no answers. Third time taking it in they were able to reproduce the problem but don't have a definitive fix. Turning it on and off doesn't help, it happens each time at random points after turning back on (either immediately or a mile or two later). No idea the rhyme or reason as to when it happens that we can tell. I'm very glad it hasn't happened on the freeway! Because it's really unsafe. Last drive before the tow the hazards didn't even work.

ENGINE PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-06-29
  • VIN: 2C4RC1S72PR
  • Components: ENGINE
  • Summary: This incident occurred twice in the past 7 days. Once while driving within feet of a train tracks crossing and another while driving 65 MPH on a crowded freeway in Los Angeles. Both times, the car flashed a warning to “Stop Safely, vehicle will shut off soon” and then within 20 seconds I lost all power to the vehicle and struggled to get to the side of the road. After approximately 20 minutes of sitting there, the vehicle started again and drove normally. I understand there was a recent recall for this issue and it appears this is a continuation of that. This vehicle put my family’s life in danger twice in the past 7 days. Something needs to be done

POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,EXTERIOR LIGHTING PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-06-26
  • VIN: 2C4RC1S71PR
  • Components: POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,EXTERIOR LIGHTING
  • Summary: While driving in heavy traffic in a construction zone of a two lane highway my vehicle alerted me to get over and stop because my vehicle was shutting down. The vehicle then slowed down more and more without break lights, causing vehicles to come up to my vehicle closely and almost hit me. Due to the construction there was no immediate place for me to pull over. I had to drive 3/4 of a mile like this with my child in the car. I was finally able to get to an on ramp with shoulder and pull over. We are lucky we were not plowed into by another car while this all was happening, or while we were waiting by the road. This issue is directly related to an apparent known issue on these cars, but not known to us.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,BACK OVER PREVENTION PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2023-11-24
  • VIN: 2C4RC1BG5PR
  • Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,BACK OVER PREVENTION
  • Summary: The contact owns a 2023 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V436000 (Back Over Prevention) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that the back-over prevention camera displayed still images, with blackouts, or was inoperable. The failure had become more persistent and then became a constant failure. The contact had to restart the vehicle to regain functionality or correct the malfunction. While turning off and restarting the vehicle, the radio was randomly activated without driver input. The contact believed that the failure had caused additional failures with other control panel functions such as the radio, heating, and the A/C system failing to activate as needed. There were no warning lights illuminated. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 14,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-06-20
  • VIN: 2C4RC1S70PR
  • Components: POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE
  • Summary: This is a new 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, it's only 1k miles and 1 month after the purchase, I experienced a sudden loss of power while driving in the afternoon on 6/20, there was a warning light that beeps and tells me I'm about to loss power. Fortunately I am still half mile away from freeway entrance, and I just stopped at a red light blocking vehicles behind me.... the car wouldn't start for a few minutes, and I finally get it to start after I open and close the door. The engine light has been on since the incident, and eventually went away the next day morning on 6/21, right before I dropped it off at dealership to get it checked. They read the code and confirmed it was transmission. The dealer told me they will know what to do by mid next week, and if a new transmission is needed it will be a few more weeks before it can be fixed. There was no loaner car, and Chrysler only gave me $40/day allowance for rental car which is not nearly enough to get any small car, let along a minivan.

UNKNOWN OR OTHER PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-05-17
  • VIN: 2C4RC1L77PR
  • Components: UNKNOWN OR OTHER
  • Summary: I was driving my vehicle in a local road at speed about 20MPH and suddenly got a warning saying "Stop safely, Vehicle will shut off soon". Then the gas pedal stopped working. It was on the middle of the road. I switched off my car and started it again a couple of times and that warning was gone but the engine light was on. I was able to drive the vehicle and so the next day I went to the dealer to find the issue. After 4 days the dealer said they couldn't replicate the issue and also the engine light was not on anymore and so they returned my vehicle without doing anything. After a week I was driving on a freeway with all my family members (6 of us), 75 MPH the same thing happened again. I immediately pulled over to the shoulder, since the gas pedal was not working. I switched off the car and switched on then I drove the vehicle. This happened at least 6 to 8 times on my 300-mile drive. It was really scary that the vehicle got a weird warning and the gas pedal stopped working in the middle of the road. At one place there was no shoulder, so I had to stop on the road itself. After coming back, I dropped my vehicle with the dealer to find the issue. It's been 2 weeks but they are saying they couldn't replicate the issue. I bought this as a brand-new vehicle on April 2023, and it's just 14 months old.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,UNKNOWN OR OTHER,ENGINE PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-05-26
  • VIN: 2C4RC1L71PR
  • Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,UNKNOWN OR OTHER,ENGINE
  • Summary: On the afternoon of May 26, 2024, I received a warning "Stop Safely - Vehicle Will Shut Off Soon". I pulled to the side of the road but was still in an active traffic lane in a traffic circle and cars had to stop and/or swerve to avoid hitting my car. If this had been at night my safety would have been even more greatly compromised. The engine promptly shut off and would not restart. I was towed to the nearest dealer which still has not diagnosed or repaired the car. This may be related to recall 23V-010 and the ongoing RQ24004, of which the dealer had no knowledge. I took delivery of the car, a 2023 Pacifica plug in hybrid, on March 25th and it has less than 4000 miles on it.

POWER TRAIN PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-05-16
  • VIN: 2C4RC1N70PR
  • Components: POWER TRAIN
  • Summary: I was driving on a busy road and my 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid told me "stop safely vehicle will shut off soon" and then it shut down in a matter of seconds, leaving my child and me in a dangerous spot. We were stuck in the middle of a busy road with cars whizzing around us and needing to make last minute lane changes. My car had only 2,037 miles on it when this occurred and already needs a new transmission. Prior to this, it had already been in service 4 times in 4 months. The Chrysler app shows that the vehicle has an "engine malfunction."

POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-04-27
  • VIN: 2C4RC1N75PR
  • Components: POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE
  • Summary: We purchased a brand new car and we have driven just 778 miles. Below are the things happened suddenly while driving on highway on our long planned trip and it screwed up entire journey. 1. Instrument cluster suddenly shown the error “service charging system” in the middle of highway when I was driving in 70 mph speed and the vehicle started applying heavy breaks automatically and speed dropped down from 70MPH to 25MPH in 5-6 seconds. Engine light is on as well. I’m unable to accelerate. Somehow luckily I was able to pull the car to right shoulder. We were scared that we will be in an accident due to sudden brake. 2. I tried stopping the car and then starting. It shown the same error couple of times. 3. After couple of times, I tried to press brake and push on start button, the brake hit me back and I’m unable to press the brake at all. 4. Instrumentation cluster shown series of messages like below.. a) Keyfob not detected in the car - We are still in the car and key fob is with us in the car b) Hybrid system not working 5. After some time car wipers automatically started and wiping very slowly. It could be because the battery is low and we are shocked to see why the wipers are started though there is no rain and also the Wipers control is in Off position only. 6. We in the car are shell shocked and my pregnant wife is still in trauma even after a week thinking about the incident. After calling SOS, the vehicle has been towed to nearest Heritage CDJR Dealer of Harrisburg. But they are not ready to inspect the vehicle right away. We waited for 4 hours and then we had to take the rental vehicle to restart our journey. It's been a week and the car is still with the Dealer. I along with my pregnant wife and 5 year old kid spent almost stranded for 8 hours during this entire drama. I have raised case with Chrysler as well. No update from the dealer service department though. This is a defect piece I received and I never wanted to drive again keeping life at risk

VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2024-04-08
  • VIN: 2C4RC1N79PR
  • Components: VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
  • Summary: I engaged the speed control (NOT adaptive speed control, also equipped on this car), and set my desired speed. I pressed and held the SET+ button to increase speed, as demonstrated at 1:27 on this video [XXX] from Mopar for an older model of this vehicle. When I released the button, the car continued to accelerate. Pressing Cancel or disabling speed control stopped the acceleration. This behavior is repeatable. I tested it several times on that drive cycle, and again on subsequent drive cycles. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

2023 Chrysler Pacifica recalls

Negative 2023 Chrysler Pacifica car reviews

  1. Tyson Conroy 2025-01-08

I am disappointed with the recent changes made by Chrysler to their entertainment system. Despite paying extra for a custom hybrid, the system does not come with a built-in DVD player and instead requires an expensive monthly hotspot to stream entertainment. While it is possible to use wires to hook up an external DVD player, this is a hassle that I would rather avoid. It is frustrating to note that my new Pacifica's system is inferior to the one in my 10-year-old Town and Country.

It seems like there might be an issue with the back liftgate of your car. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have an adjustment height, which can cause it to hit the garage door when opened. We understand how frustrating this can be, especially since it doesn't stop and comes back down. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. You mentioned that you contacted Chrysler Canada to inquire about a possible modification, but they seemed dismissive and said no. We're sorry to hear that you didn't receive the assistance you were hoping for. Is there anything else we can do to help you with this issue?

Our rental car has 47K on it. Unfortunately, there is a noise that erupts under the passenger side several times during a trip. Additionally, we experienced some issues with the navigation when using our smartphones. Despite these challenges, we were able to make it to our destination safely. We also had our cat with us, who can be quite a handful, but we managed to make it work. Overall, while the car had its quirks, we were able to make the most of our trip. A friend of mine used to drive a Chrysler a few years ago. I didn't enjoy riding in it much. Interestingly, my husband initially thought it was a hybrid due to the rough engine when idling, but it turns out it's not. Unfortunately, the van seems to struggle during idling. Additionally, my husband dislikes the side mirrors due to the blind spots, which almost caused an accident. The alarms that go off when a car gets too close are also quite startling, with the screen flashing 'BRAKE' and loud noises. It can be quite unnerving for both the driver and passenger.

We purchased the Touring L AWD trim van to accommodate our family of four and an au pair for road trips and child-ferrying duties. We had initially ruled out the Honda Odyssey (I have an irrational dislike for Hondas) and Toyota dealers were charging exorbitant prices for Siennas, which were also out of stock. Despite my low expectations for the Pacifica, it has some good features such as the spacious cargo area that is easy to configure with the 'Stow N'Go' system, the electric tailgate operation, and the second-row captain's chairs that our kids enjoy. The van is also relatively easy to drive, with predictable steering and braking, acceptable noise levels, and decent transmission shifting that even incorporates engine braking on descents. However, the front seats are uncomfortable despite all their adjustments, causing discomfort after about an hour of driving. As owners of a broad spectrum of cars, ranging from acceptable (e.g., my Tacoma) to sublime (i.e., SAABs and Volvos), we find the Chrysler to be the worst in terms of comfort. This is disappointing for a road-tripping machine. Additionally, the electronic features are intrusive and annoying, with poor execution on things like the adaptive cruise control (jerky), blind spot warnings (too loud and startling), proximity parking alarms (scream when you're a mile from hitting something), and the automatic parking (a joke, really, both for parallel and perpendicular parking; even the salesman was nervous about it when I asked to try it out). For multiple drivers, the memory settings can be frustrating as they do not recognize the last person who operated the vehicle. This means that every time you stop for gas, the seat adjusts to the previous driver's settings, even if you have been driving and continue to drive. Additionally, the memory settings do not adjust the side mirrors. The side doors only close and open via electrics, so you cannot get that satisfying sliding door slam. The infotainment system can be clunky and flakey, and only pairs with our phones without trouble about 60 percent of the time. It is also disappointing that there are no USB ports for the third row. The stock Pirelli tires are not ideal and can be scary on anything remotely wet or slippery, despite the AWD. The controls and interior feel flimsy, with some parts jiggling with every bump. However, we are making the best of it until we can function with a smaller car, and will trade it in as soon as possible for something that better suits our needs.

You have a great vehicle once you get the hang of the icons and touchscreen controls.

  2. Francesco Hahn 2024-09-29

I'm so glad to hear that you had a comfortable and problem-free drive from Ontario to Florida! It sounds like your vehicle really held up well in both the snow and the heat, which is great to hear. It's wonderful that you're so pleased with every aspect of the vehicle, and I hope it continues to serve you well for many years to come. Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Chrysler!

  3. Tremayne Ritchie 2024-08-23

I really appreciate the looks, comfort, and the fact that the seats store below the floor, providing tons of room. The handling (FWD) is great, and the features are top-notch. It's perfect for families, moving stuff, taking bicycles, camping, and so much more. As a single person, I don't need baby seats in the back, which is a plus! In my opinion, the Limited with the 20” tire S package is the nicest way to order.

  4. Terrence Crooks 2024-08-18

I'm really glad to hear that you're considering trading in your Honda for this car, especially since it has AWD and great safety reviews!

  5. Hayden Anderson 2024-08-11

I am extremely pleased with the car. It gets an impressive 25 mpg right out of the gate and offers a variety of seating options in the rear, including the convenient stow and go seats. The car also boasts great visibility. While I am not particularly tech-savvy, I find the computer screen and accompanying features to be more than adequate. The only area for improvement would be the arm rests for the driver, which are positioned too low for comfortable use. Overall, however, I have no significant complaints about the car.
