UPON DOING SOME RESEARCH, I DISCOVERED THAT THE 2006 CHRYSLER 300C HAS A RECALL FOR THIS SAME PROBLEM IN WHICH THE MOTOR GETS AROUND 98,000 MILES AND THE MOTOR/ENGINE BLOWS WITH NO APPARENT WARNING JUST AS MINE DID. ALSO, UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION, MOPAR HAS 3 RECALLS ON 2009 300C. IT STATES THAT ALL 3 ON MY VIN# WERE REPAIRED. ACCORDING TO NHTSA WEBSITE, THERE ARE 5 RECALLS FOR EXACT SAME VIN# AND NO REPAIRS. I SPOKE WITH BOBBY SPAINHOWARD, A MECHANIC, AT FORD PEACH. WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM WAS THE PIN IN THE CAMSHAFT BROKE IN HALF FOR NO REASON, CAUSING TIMING ASYNCHRONIZATION. THIS LED TO THE RODS BENDING AND STRONG POSSIBILITY OF VALVE AND PISTON DAMAGE. HE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED A BRAND NEW MOTOR DUE TO THE DAMAGE.

I CAN DEAL WITH AN ENGINE TURNOFF, BUT THIS IS A COMPLETE SHUTDOWN, AS IF THE CAR WAS SHUTOFF NOT RECOGNIZING A THE KEY IS THERE. LIGHTS, RADIO, DASHBOARD, ETC....ALL TURN OFF (I'M GUESSING AIRBAGS TOO?) I HAVE NOW RESEARCHED THIS AND I AM FAR FROM THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS ISSUE. IT IS PRETTY MUCH NARROWED DOWN TO A DISCONNECT BETWEEN THE WIRELESS IGNITION NODE AND THE KEY FOB, AND THE MODULE THINKING THE FOB HAS BEEN TURNED OFF WHEN IT FACT IT HASN'T. CHRYSLER HAS RECALLED THIS PART FOR MODEL YEARS PRIOR, AND AFTER 09', BUT HAVE SEEMED TO SKIP THE 300C FOR 2009. WELL GUESS WHAT, 2009 300C WIN MODULE'S ARE FAULTY ALSO... AND JUST AS DANGEROUS AN ISSUE AS ANY OTHER VEHICLE THAT COMPLETELY SHUTS DOWN RANDOMLY. THIS NEEDS TO BE LOOKED INTO AND THERE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL FOR 2009 CHRYSLER 300'S FOR THE WIN MODULE AND THE KEY FOBS! REGARDS

I love my new SRT 8! I have owned a Lexus GS and an Infinity 4.5 before, but they don't compare to this car. The power is amazing and the fit and finish are great. I feel confident winning any stoplight drag race from now on. I don't think I'll ever go back to imports.

Last year, I purchased a 2009 Chrysler 300 Touring and I absolutely love the car. However, I did notice that at the top of the doors, there is a trim piece that appears to be made up of two separate pieces per door. While it wasn't impressive, it wasn't a deal breaker for me at the time. Now, a year later, it seems that these are just cheap pieces as there are multiple cracks in each one. I called Chrysler to inquire about a repair, but was informed that due to the age of the car (3 years) and the mileage, I would have to pay some of the repair bill. I don't agree with this, as it doesn't seem like a wear and tear issue to me. I'm not asking for a ripped seat or stone chips to be fixed, just a simple trim piece. I'm truly considering getting rid of the car and not purchasing from Chrysler again.

I myself have a 2007 300 Touring and I absolutely love it! It provides a very smooth ride and is incredibly comfortable. Even my 6-foot-tall children can ride in it with ease. I highly recommend this car to anyone who wants style, class, and comfort all in one package!

I have experienced several issues with my car, including cracked leather seats, a leaking crank sensor seal, and a broken lumbar adjustment. Despite multiple attempts by dealers in northeast Ohio to fix these issues, they persisted. Recently, the motor began ticking and the valves needed to be replaced. Although the dealer initially fixed the issue, a new valve became stuck, leading to the replacement of the entire top end of the motor and the water pump. Unfortunately, poor workmanship resulted in an oil leak, requiring yet another replacement of the crank sensor seal. While I am dissatisfied with the quality of the car and the dealers' work, I am confident that these issues can be resolved with the right expertise and attention.

In October 2008, I purchased a car with 30,000 miles on it. Within two months, both tie rods had to be replaced under warranty. In January 2009, I noticed a loud ticking noise from the engine, similar to lifters going bad. In March 2009, I had to replace the tie rod on the left side again, which was still under warranty. By March 2010, a very loud clunky sound was coming from the front end. I took it to the dealer, and they reported that the left and right tension arms, left and right sway bars, and right tie rod end were shot. Unfortunately, the warranty only covers up to 50,000 miles, and I have 61,000 miles on the car. In comparison, I also own a 97 Chevy Lumina with 63,000 miles on it, and it has not had nearly as many problems as the 300. Despite what some mechanics have said, I believe that the issues with the car will only get worse, and I am considering getting rid of it.

During the first week of ownership, I thoroughly enjoyed driving my new car. I had the pleasure of driving both the Hemi and 3.5 V6 models, and while the Hemi felt a bit heavier, the 3.5 offered great mileage and value. However, I did experience an issue when I tried to use the windshield washer. Unfortunately, this caused the electrical system to fail and the engine to shut off. Thankfully, I was able to restart the car immediately after releasing the washer, but it was in a lower gear and I had to pull over. While this was concerning, I am confident that the dealer will resolve the issue as they have already ordered the necessary parts. I do hope that the root cause of the issue is identified to prevent any potential risks in the future.
