For the 1995 model year, the Tahoe and Yukon gained a new, longer four-door model, slotting in size between the two-door models and the longer-wheelbase Chevrolet/GMC Suburbans.
The Tahoe is sold in North America, parts of Asia such as the Philippines, and the Middle East, plus other countries including Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, and Angola as a left-hand-drive vehicle. The Yukon is only sold in North America and the Middle East.
The Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon are part of General Motors' full-size SUV family and are differentiated from the similar Chevrolet Suburban and GMC Yukon XL primarily by the length of the passenger and cargo area behind the C-pillar. An upscale trim GMC Denali sub-model joined the Yukon lineup as the top-of-the-line trim for the 1999 model year; the Cadillac Escalade is a closely related upscale version sharing the same platform. - Summary: The contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe. While the contact's daughter was entering traffic at 65 MPH, the vehicle in front made an abrupt stop. As a result, the contact's daughter was unable to stop the vehicle in time and crashed into the rear of the vehicle. The contact was concerned that no air bags deployed during the impact. In addition, the contact stated that the OnStar feature failed to activate and it was concluded that it was due to the sensors. During the impact, the contact's daughter's head hit the steering wheel and caused an injury in which physical therapy was required on the weekly basis. The vehicle was towed and a police report was filed. The contact also wanted to advise that vehicle was included in NHTSA Campaign Number 21V52000 (Air Bags). The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 139,000.

I recently downsized from my 2005 Suburban, and I have not regretted it one bit. I purchased this vehicle with all the available options, including the Z71 off-road protection. I have loaded it up with 3 hunters, 25 geese decoys, 3 duck blinds, and all our gear, and I could have added more. I am excited for turkey season! This vehicle handles exceptionally well and is an absolute pleasure to drive. It always provides a comfortable ride and feels safe to drive in all weather conditions, including rain, ice, and snow.

Congratulations on your new black LTZ! It's definitely a head turner, especially with the standard chrome package. The 20 inch wheels are a great addition and work perfectly with the shocks and suspension to provide a very comfortable ride. Enjoy your new car!

This truck is perfect for those who love the outdoors and don't need to climb mountains. Although the off-the-start power may leave a bit to be desired, once it gets moving, it really moves! This is my second Tahoe. The first one was an LS. It's very roomy and can easily seat up to 9 passengers, providing a smooth ride. After trading in my new BMW X5, which rode horribly, I decided to get the Z71 4WD that can convert to 2WD. I loved the Tahoe so much that I upgraded to the Z71, which has all the amenities of a BMW but with a much better ride. Although it seats less people, my kids are grown up now so I don't need as much room.

My wife and I recently purchased the 2LT with the Sun & Entertainment package, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. We opted for a sleek black exterior with a cashmere (tan) interior, which looks fantastic. Our main priority was finding a vehicle that could comfortably fit our three children in the second row bench seat, while still leaving plenty of room for cargo or additional passengers. This SUV exceeded our expectations in that regard. The DVD player has been a hit with the kids, and my wife is thoroughly enjoying the Bose sound system, satellite radio, navigation, and rear view camera. I'm excited to test out the OnStar feature and even tow my boat with this impressive vehicle. It definitely outshines our previous loaded Pacifica. If you're in the market for a full-size SUV for your family, I highly recommend this one.

I've had my Tahoe for almost 2 years now and overall it's been a great ride. While there have been a few minor issues, such as a spontaneous oil leak that the dealer has yet to figure out, the vehicle still looks beautiful and is still the King of the Haul. The interior cloth seats and carpet are beginning to shed a bit, but that's to be expected with regular use. One thing to note is that the vinyl and plastic pieces tend to grab and hold dirt, fingerprints and grime, which can be a bit of a hassle to clean. Additionally, on cold mornings, there can be a bit of a squeaky fan or alternator bearing, but it usually goes away after 10 minutes. Lastly, the 20

My family and I love the room and the features. However, we have been experiencing some electrical issues that have been quite frustrating. While driving, the truck has shut off in the middle of the road a few times. After some investigation, I found that wiggling the negative wire may or may not bring the power back. I contacted GM for assistance, but unfortunately, they were not very helpful. They suggested taking the truck to the dealership for a diagnostic, but we have already done that before and the issue was not resolved. Despite these issues, we still enjoy our GM product. Additionally, the rear differential went out at 75000 miles.
