1995 Cadillac Eldorado problems

cadillac logo

The Cadillac Eldorado is a luxury car manufactured and marketed by Cadillac from 1952 until 2002 over twelve generations.

The Eldorado was at or near the top of the Cadillac line. The original 1953 Eldorado convertible and the Eldorado Brougham models of 1957–1960 had distinct bodyshells and were the most expensive models that Cadillac offered those years. The Eldorado was never less than second in price after the Cadillac Series 75 limousine until 1966. Starting in 1967 the Eldorado retained its premium position in the Cadillac price structure, but was manufactured in high volumes on a unique, two-door personal luxury car platform.

The Eldorado carried the Fleetwood designation from 1965 through 1972, and was a modern revival of the pre-war Cadillac V-12 and Cadillac V-16 roadsters and convertibles.

Negative 1995 Cadillac Eldorado car reviews

  1. Dawson Witting 2024-05-14

Since day one, the Cadillac has not met expectations. However, I would be happy to discuss alternative options with you.

  2. Vinnie Roberts 2024-02-13

Hi there! I wanted to share my experience with this car I bought a couple of years ago. It's a beautiful Pearl White car, but unfortunately, I've had some trouble with it. Despite putting almost $10,000 into it in the last 2 years, it keeps breaking down about every 2 months and costs about $500 or more to fix. I feel bad about selling it to someone else because I don't want them to have the same trouble. The car stalls after driving only 5 miles, and even though I get it fixed, it works for a while and then breaks again. It also pours oil and the transmission is jerky. Every time I drive it, I feel lucky to get it home to the driveway again. If anyone has any advice on how to fix the stalling problem, please let me know. Thanks for listening!

Positive 1995 Cadillac Eldorado car reviews

  1. Ezra Kihn 2025-01-08

What a car! It has great performance, comfort, and I average 22mpg. This is one of my all-time favorite cars. I have had almost no mechanical problems and now with 180,000 miles it still runs like new. I love the body style on my ETC and have no complaints about this automobile.

  2. Spencer Marquardt 2025-01-04

I have to say, this car is one of the better cars I have ever driven. I bought it for $1,800 and it was worth every penny. It's very clean inside and out, and I haven't had many problems with it. The blower and window motor went out, but they were very easy to fix. It handles like a dream and is a lot of fun to drive!

  3. Conner Ullrich 2024-11-28

I hope you're doing well! I just wanted to share my experience with the Northstar. Back in 1994, I really wanted one, but the price was a whopping $63,000.00! I patiently waited and was finally able to pick one up in 2009 for only $1,800.00. I can only imagine how amazing the ride must have been when it was brand new.

  4. Bart Gusikowski 2024-11-27

Bought this car used when it was just 1 year old with 13000 miles. Today, it has 146000 miles. I've had to do the normal repairs, but nothing major except for a new air conditioning compressor. One window motor died and had to be replaced, but overall it still looks stylish and is fun to drive.

  5. Richie Pacocha 2024-11-14

Good car! It performs well and is a great choice for the highway. It's sporty and looks fantastic.
