The Cadillac CTS is a luxury car, manufactured and marketed by General Motors from 2003 until 2019 across three generations.
Initially available as a 4-door sedan on the GM Sigma platform, GM had offered the second generation CTS in three body styles: 4-door sedan, 2-door coupe, and 5-door sport wagon also using the Sigma platform — and the third generation was offered only as a sedan, using a stretched version of the GM Alpha platform. High performance sedan variants were offered for each generation, as the CTS-V — with wagon and coupe variants offered for the second generation.
Wayne Cherry and Kip Wasenko designed the exterior of the first generation CTS, marking the production debut of a design language marketed as "Art and Science," first used on the Evoq concept car. John Manoogian III directed the second generation CTS design. Bob Boniface and Robin Krieg designed the exterior of the third generation CTS.
The CTS ended production in 2019 and was replaced by the CT5, which shared its platform with the third and final generation of the CTS in addition to the smaller CT4.

This car is fantastic and has been trouble-free for more than a year. Although there were some minor issues with the audio system and the front passenger seat, they were resolved quickly. Despite some check engine lights caused by emission sensors of different systems, the problems were eliminated and the car has been running smoothly ever since. It is a head-turner in this small to medium-sized town, with many people admiring it and taking pictures. Overall, this car is a great choice for anyone looking for a reliable and stylish ride.

This car is amazing! It has everything you could want in a luxury sedan - great features, impressive performance, and plenty of room. The ride is incredibly smooth and controlled, no matter how you drive it. Despite being a performance sedan, it's surprisingly quiet. Driving it is an absolute joy. The quality is top-notch, and I haven't encountered any issues with it. The Recaro seats are fantastic, and the interior is both functional and beautiful. While it's not a hybrid, I've still managed to get an average of 11.4 MPG since I bought it. I can confidently say that this car is my dream come true. Thank you, Cadillac, for creating such an incredible example of 'Good Ol American Know How'!

I've had the sedan CTS-V 6-speed automatic for 3 months now and it has completely surpassed my expectations. I was surprised to read a previous review about needing new brakes for $700, considering the car is fully covered for 4 years or 50,000 miles. The bottom line is that any luxury car can have problems, and they are usually expensive to deal with, but Cadillac certainly doesn't give any worse service than any other company.

When this car was designed, the manufacturers had all the right ideas for both performance and appearance. It's a great looking car, but unfortunately, I've had some issues with it. I bought the car new last October and have already put 50,000 km on the odometer. One month ago, they changed the supercharger, and just two weeks ago, they had to order new chims for the differential due to a recall. Today, they informed me that they need to change the transmission. Additionally, they quoted me £700 just for the front brake pads (and that's just for the parts), and £300 for the rear. All in all, given the price, I expected more reliability!
