- Summary: We purchased this vehicle new. Over time it started to surge on mild acceleration in all gears and all speeds. Dealership reset the transmission and engine computers. It was better but still noticeable. Over time though it gets worse. Dealership just does the same thing and resets the engine and transmission. This last time though it was still quite noticeable and has gotten much worse. We contacted the dealership and they plan to just reset them again as there is no other fix. The surging is unsafe especially in parking lots where you might be giving a little throttle and the car isn't really moving so you push harder and then it takes off.

- Summary: The contact owns a 2022 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that while driving approximately 60 MPH, the vehicle crashed into a mule. During the crash, the front passenger side of the vehicle was severely damaged, but no air bags were deployed. During the crash, the driver sustained a headache, right and left hip pain and a bruised torso from the seat belts. A police report was taken at the scene, and the vehicle was towed to an unknown location. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were not yet notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 11,000.

- Consequence: An improperly engaged shifter assembly may slip out of the "drive" position, resulting in a sudden loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: Dealers will replace the shifter assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 17, 2023. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall ZB3.

- Summary: Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2022 Dodge Challenger, Dodge Charger, and Chrysler 300 vehicles. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor battery may fail prematurely and cause the sensor to become inoperative. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems."
- Consequence: Inoperative TPMS sensors will not alert the driver to low tire pressure. In addition, a TPMS warning light that is already illuminated from a failed battery sensor will mask an actual tire pressure failure issue. Either of these scenarios can result in tire failure and increase the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the TPMS sensors, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 10, 2022. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC at 1-800-853-1403. As the Dodge Brothers have said, it's a muscle car when you want it and a family car when you need it. I can definitely relate to that sentiment. I've owned a Charger Scat Pack and a Dodge Challenger in the past, but I found that the Scat Pack was too expensive on gas and the two-door car just wasn't my style. That's why I opted for the 6-cylinder Charger GT with upgraded options, and I have to say, it's been perfect for me.

I have a '15 Charger SXT Plus Rallye and I absolutely love it! It's great for cruising, family road trips, racing, and modifying. It does everything you could want to do with your car while still being comfortable and holding the road well. I LOVE DRIVING MINE EVERY DAY. Her name is LadyBug. The gas mileage isn't great, but I was willing to sacrifice a bit.

I've been driving my 2022 Charger Scat Pack Widebody for a year now and have put a bit over 19,000 miles on it. It's an exceptional car - roomy, powerful, and drives exceptionally well. It's perfect for long highway drives too. Even with the big 6.4 Liter engine, I can get 24mpg on the highway at speeds of 65-70mph. The sound system is really good, especially with the Harman Kardon system, and I also really enjoy the sunroof. The car's 8-speed transmission is great and with the manual shift ability, it's a joy to drive. There are a few things I don't like about the vehicle, such as the 4-cylinder mode, which happens above speeds of 20mph and less than 20% throttle. However, I tend to either keep the car in sport mode or manually shift to get around this. Even with 305's in the back (OEM size), it's still too easy to spin the tires, so bigger tires are needed. I also wish the front doors were longer like the Challenger, as with the windows open, air blows more on my face than behind me as in the Challenger. I had a 2016 Challenger Scat Pack before, but the Widebody option makes this car immensely better. The brakes are super strong too. I ordered my car from the factory in March 2022 and received it in May 2022, paying less than MSRP. Despite the high sticker price, I'm very happy I bought it and plan to keep it forever.

The car has a low entrance headroom and uncomfortable seats during long trips. Left/RIGHT visibility is limited, but it has a great body style. The car handles wonderfully on curves. Due to rear wheel drive, the driveshaft hump seriously restricts rear seat passengers' legroom. However, it is important to note that the car has some drawbacks. The transmission hunts for gears while going up hills, and the body integrity is lacking. Closing the trunk lid and doors sounds tinny. Overall, the vehicle leaves a lot to be desired. If you decide to buy one, I wish you the best.
