2009 Volvo Xc90 problems
The Volvo XC90 is a mid-size luxury SUV manufactured and marketed by Volvo Cars since 2002 and now in its second generation.
The first generation was introduced at the 2002 North American International Auto Show and used the Volvo P2 platform shared with the first generation Volvo S80 and other large Volvo cars. It was manufactured at Volvo's Torslandaverken. Volvo moved production equipment of the first generation to China and ended Swedish production at the end of 2014, renaming the car as the Volvo XC Classic (or Volvo XC90 Classic).
At the end of 2014, the second generation XC90 was introduced. It is based on a new global platform, the Scalable Product Architecture (SPA). Both generations of the XC90 have won Motor Trend's SUV of the Year award in their debuts.
In late 2022, the electric-only EX90 was introduced as the successor of the XC90.

This car is great! I feel really safe and secure while driving it. It's very dependable with its 3.2 engine. The size of the car is just right, not too big, and it handles really well for an SUV. The interior quality is fantastic! Mine is loaded with options and I absolutely love the heated seats. I often rent cars while in other cities and my 10-year-old XC90's seats warm up twice as fast as the interior! I just can't get enough of it.
-
Great car! I'm glad you're enjoying the comfortable ride and the great addition of Sirius radio. However, I noticed that the SUV lacks armrests for rear passengers, which can be a huge disappointment and make them uncomfortable. It's surprising that the developers did not include rear seat armrests for passengers. On the bright side, the styling is eye-catching and the front-wheel drive performance is great. Plus, there are numerous safety features available to ensure a safe ride.

The 2008 xc90 3.2 awd. I'm the second owner of the car and haven't touch 100k. Bought this one after our 08 s80 t6 awd got totalled. It does pick up slower than the tubro charged engine of the s80. But its comfortable to drive. I'm getting 16 mpg. Only things i have had to do to vehicle is basic maintenance item. Filters, spark plugs , brakes and oil. But overall the cost of ownership is low. And you can find parts and videos online to replace things

Just wanted to share my experience with my new XC90! I absolutely love every minute behind the wheel. The well-appointed interior, comfortable seating, and smooth and quiet ride make this vehicle a joy to drive. I must say, the XC90 exceeded my expectations!

Hey there! I'm so glad you're interested in our truck! It's got everything you need - amazing seats, room for 7, lots of trunk space, a great stereo system, and power everything. Plus, it's super safe and we even got $10K off the sticker price! The only downside is that it doesn't get the best gas mileage. But overall, it's a fantastic choice!

The XC90 looks beautiful! While it may not be the most comfortable car to drive in, it still has its perks. Although there's not too much room in the front for the driver and passenger, it's still a great car to drive. Unfortunately, I did experience some issues with the car such as needing a wheel alignment which is not covered and problems with the driver's side chair as well as indicator lights going off on the dashboard for no apparent reason. However, I'm still considering my options and looking to trade the vehicle in for an SUV that gets better gas mileage. This SUV consumes gas like I consume beer!

Hi there! I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to let you know that unfortunately, the crack on your windshield is not covered by the manufacturing warranty. Additionally, I wanted to mention that the car may be a bit too small for a group of seven, and may not be the best fit for a teen on a trip. Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with!

I've always dreamed of owning a Volvo XC90 and was thrilled when I finally bought one. Unfortunately, I experienced some issues with the car shortly after delivery and had to have it towed to the dealership. While it was disappointing to have to deal with these problems so early on, I'm hopeful that everything will be resolved soon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and have even read up on my state's Lemon Law just in case. Overall, I really like this car and am looking forward to enjoying it for years to come!

Sorry to hear about your experience with the XC90. It sounds like you've had a frustrating time with the car, especially with the overheating issue. It's understandable that you would want to switch back to the MDX, especially since you've had such a positive experience with Acuras and Infinities in the past. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.
