S90
Before its reveal, the first official pictures of the S90 were shown on Wednesday, 2 December 2015. The S90 was unveiled to the public in January 2016, at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan. The S90's design was well received, winning the Production Car Design of the Year award for 2015.
While not a direct successor to the second-generation S80, the S90 replaces it as the flagship sedan in Volvo's lineup. Several trim levels are available, ranging from Momentum to Inscription. In July 2016, an optional, cosmetic R-Design package was announced. A long wheelbase version was announced for availability in the United States.
For the 2022 model year in the United Kingdom, the range was limited to the S90 Recharge, a mild-hybrid sedan. The S90 Recharge was limited to Plus and Ultimate trim levels with the T8 AWD mild-hybrid engine, a 2.0-litre 455-horsepower (339 kW; 461 PS) 4-cylinder available with all-wheel-drive only.

Your wife bought this car for you down south and drove it home to surprise you. Although it seemed to hate her, you and Thor II grew close very quickly. You had a few problems left over from the previous owner, but you quickly fixed all except the power seat cable. You can find parts online at a fair price, but the dealer is another story. You purchased the car with just over 100K and are approaching 140k already.

The car's tires have an average lifespan, similar to any other car. The car is primarily used on the highway, which may contribute to the longer lifespan of the tires compared to other parts. Having a connection with someone who works on Volvo's can help with the cost of replacements. Additionally, regularly servicing the car at a trusted shop can lead to assistance with repair costs and claims. It is important to thoroughly read and understand the fine print of any insurance/coverage contract and ask questions before signing. Doing proper research can lead to a successful outcome.

I'm so glad I bought this car as a basic commuter vehicle! I've never regretted it. The engine is very peppy, the features are endless and fun, and the seats are the best ever. I've owned a lot of cars, usually new, and I have to say that a used Volvo, especially one of these rare decked-out rear-wheel drive sixes, is one of the best buys I've made. The trunk is huge and the back seats provide plenty of room too. So far, I haven't had any mechanical problems with it, though routine maintenance can be pricey. It's luxury at a great price!

You've got yourself an excellent vehicle with great highway cruising comfort! Although it can be a little bit noisy at high speeds, it still has a great engine.

It's a wonderful road car, but unfortunately there is too much wind noise. Additionally, there have been some issues with the sunroof, brakes, oil and grease seals, and a few minor electrical problems. It's definitely a car that requires some extra attention and care, so it's not for the faint of heart or anyone expecting a Volvo 240. However, if you're up for the challenge, it's like driving a Swedish Jaguar!

Even an oil change can end up costing $1000. I've had some issues with my Volvo, particularly with the electrical and drive train parts. Unfortunately, the parts aren't always in stock, which can lead to multiple trips. On the other hand, my Toyota has been running smoothly for 4 years without any issues. The Volvo's electrical windows have been a bit of a challenge, but we're working on finding a solution. It can be a bit nerve-wracking when the window is rolled down, but we're hopeful that we'll be able to fix it soon.

I understand that many people are happy with their Volvo, but unfortunately, my personal experience has been quite negative. I have had issues with prematurely aging leather interior, a consistently broken sunroof, and an air conditioning system that occasionally blows hot air. Additionally, my CD player has broken and my car needed a new transmission after only 50,000 miles due to a cracked radiator. It seems that the quality of cars has decreased over time, and unfortunately, Ford has not been supportive in addressing these issues. I would recommend considering other options.
