The Porsche Carrera GTS 4 is a fantastic sports car that stands out from American muscle cars. It's a pocket rocket that rocks! Although getting in and out can be a bit of a struggle for a 71-year-old, once you're seated, it's very comfortable. This car holds the road like fly paper, making it perfect for running the Smoky's or the popular Dragon. You're in control all the way, and you'll get lots of compliments on the car. Fall runs with the top down are a rush! Although there is a sticker shock factor, the engineering is impressive. The six-speed manual is a short, smooth throw, and the gears wind up fast. You'll start to feel the bite in second gear, and by third gear, you're on to warp speed. The rest is velvet. If you're a gearhead or just like to pop out the pipe, you won't be disappointed with this car. There's even a Porsche club (PCA) where you can meet some great people and go on drive-outs, over-nighters, and social nights. Overall, it's a great car!

This is my 4th 911 going back to a 1981 Targa. It's always been a babe magnet! The 911 is unmatched in handling (thanks to the rear engine which makes the front end light and nimble) and celebrity status. Whether it's a short trip or a long one, it's always a pleasure. Other drivers are often intimidated, especially Vettes and even an occasional inexperienced Lamborghini driver. The 6-speed manual is the only way to go for a sports car. I only drive it in good weather and put on plenty of miles. What a great ride! The only drawback is the high price, but it's the entry fee to a special place.

This is definitely one of the best cars out there. It's my second 911 and it's just so much fun to drive. It's incredibly fast and handles like a dream.

It is a joy to drive and boasts excellent ergonomics. Please note that this is a sports car and therefore has a sporty ride, rather than that of a GT tourer. However, we understand that some customers may prefer a more sophisticated ride. It is worth noting that this model does not come standard with a backup camera, satellite radio, or key-less-go, which may be a drawback for some customers. As of Dec 31, 2013, the car has 8500 miles on it.

Driving this car to California, or even to the track at Lime Rock, would be an absolute blast! It's impossible not to smile when behind the wheel of this car. Initially, I was hesitant about trading my 09 Turbo stick coupe for this PDK 911S Coupe, but I couldn't be happier with my decision. I have no regrets whatsoever. This car is more sophisticated and luxurious than my previous one, and it's also much more stable. It's still fast, but now it's also snarly and useable when you push it. The front end is no longer bouncy and light, and the exhaust note is far better, with pops, blips, growls, and attitude, similar to a Ferrari. The PDK is impressive, and in sport plus mode, it really rocks. The electronic steering feels great, and the car is rock solid and a snake in the turns. This is truly a driver's car!

That's a lovely car! I've had the previous version with both cabriolet and coupe s, but this version is significantly better than both. It's like having two cars in one. If you want to push it, it's a Porsche and responds instantly. If you want to drive sedately, then it can be comfortable and composed. The new steering and suspension are top-notch; not too stiff, but keeps the car flat when pushed. The PDK is the best; forget about the manual. The only downsides are the price and the lack of space for your sunglasses or phone. The user interface is also not the easiest with the touchscreen, but that's just nitpicking. If you can afford it, I highly recommend getting it.

I bought my 2011 Carrera 911 S on July 3, 2010 and have driven about 7500 miles since then. While there are many Porsche 'Options' to choose from, I believe that one of them should be a 'QUIET' option to reduce road noise. At speeds over 60 mph, it's difficult to hear the radio and even at cruising speeds on the interstate, it's not worth trying to listen or have a conversation. Another issue I have is with the comfort of the seats. Although they are infinitely adjustable, they are just too hard and uncomfortable for long drives. With over 30 years of experience making the same car, I would expect concepts like noise reduction and comfort to be a priority for Porsche.
