The Plymouth Breeze 2000 also has reported issues with its suspension and steering. Some owners have reported problems with the front suspension, such as worn out ball joints or sway bar links, which can cause the vehicle to handle poorly and have a rough ride. The power steering system is also prone to leaks, which can lead to a loss of power steering assist.
Finally, some owners of the Plymouth Breeze 2000 have reported issues with their air conditioning system. Some have reported that the air conditioning blows warm air or that the system stops working altogether. This can be caused by a variety of factors, such as a refrigerant leak, a faulty compressor, or a malfunctioning fan.

Why did Plymouth cars fail?
The demise of Plymouth was due to lackluster cars that were similar to other models offered by other brands in the group, although Chrysler Group had a few tricks up their sleeves with the new PT Cruiser being planned to revive the Plymouth brand.
Why did Plymouth stop?
It's all about the money. As staid as it may sound, the answer has nothing to do with corporate intrigue, malfeasance from competitors, or even cars so bad it killed the brand, even if the Plymouth Prowler didn't help much. Plymouth went the way of the dodo for one simple reason: Money.
Was Plymouth a success or a failure?
Though Plymouth would never develop as robust an economy as later settlements—such as Massachusetts Bay Colony—agriculture, fishing and trading made the colony self-sufficient within five years after it was founded. Many other European settlers followed in the Pilgrims' footsteps to New England.

I HAVE JUST READ ALL OF THE INCIDENTS OF FIRE RESULTING FROM THIS HOSE AND I NEED HELP IN GETTING THIS RECTIFIED. IT APPEARS THERE MUST BE A CLERICAL ERROR WITH MY VIN NUMBER IN THEIR SYSTEM. I FEEL THIS IS BACKED UP BY THE FACT THEY GAVE ME THE INCORRECT NAME OF THE OWNER AS WELL. I AM NOW VERY FEARFUL TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE. I NEVER HAD THIS RECALL REPAIR MADE IN COTTONWOOD, AZ IN 2007 OR AT ANY OTHER TIME. CAN YOU ASSIST ME IN GETTING THIS RECTIFIED? *TR

- Components: SUSPENSION:FRONT:CONTROL ARM:LOWER BALL JOINT
- Summary: QUALIS AUTOMOTIVE IS RECALLING CERTAIN AFTERMARKET BALL JOINTS SOLD FOR USE ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES. THE SOCKET MAY HAVE BEEN EXCESSIVELY HARDENED WHICH COULD CAUSE IT TO CRACK NEAR THE RETAINING RING GROOVE ALLOWING THE BALL STUD TO SEPARATE UNDER IMPACT LOAD. THE SUBJECT BALL JOINTS WERE SOLD AS FOUR PART NUMBERS, D10945, D10946, G10945, AND G10946. THE AFFECTED CONTROL ARMS, D10945 AND D10946, ARE STAMPED WITH THE FOLLOWING DATES ON THE BALL JOINTS: 134308, 135708, 100109, 102709, 104109, 105509, 107609, 108909, 110309, 113209, AND 116609. THE G10945 AND G10946 ARE THE SAME PART AS THE D10945 AND D10946 RESPECTIVELY. THEY ARE LABELED DIFFERENTLY DEPENDING ON THE AFTERMARKET CUSTOMER.
- Consequence: SEPARATION OF THE BALL STUD FROM THE SOCKET OF THE BALL JOINT HOUSING WOULD ALLOW THE CONTROL ARM TO COLLAPSE AND THE WHEEL TO FOLD IN CAUSING LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN A CRASH.
- Remedy: QUALIS AUTOMOTIVE WILL REPLACE THE BALL JOINTS FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON NOVEMBER 9, 2009. OWNERS MAY CONTACT QUALIS AUTOMOTIVE AT 1-800-493-4128.

This has been an exceptional car and an exceptional value. It is heavy and sturdy, but economical, and we've had absolutely no mechanical problems with it. We absolutely love this car.

Great commuter car - peppy, great mileage, easy to drive, easy to park, and roomy inside.

This is a car that I wasn't sure I wanted to buy, but I got a deal that I couldn't pass up. After driving it for just a couple of days, I realized what a great deal I had made. The Breeze drives like a luxury car at a reasonable price.

My Breeze has been a fantastic car and an excellent value. I did experience a minor issue with the car at 55,000 miles when the input speed sensor needed to be replaced. However, the repair was completed quickly and at a minimal cost, with only half a day spent in the shop.

The 99' Plymouth Breeze is definitely one of the best all-around cars out there. Not only is it relatively inexpensive to buy, but it also provides great fuel economy and a comfortable ride. Whether you're looking for a family car or a vehicle to customize and race, the Plymouth Breeze is an excellent choice. I stand by my word. Additionally, the trunk space is unparalleled, with the entire back seat folding down to accommodate two or three entertainment centers.

I have experienced several electrical issues with my 2 1/2 year old car, which have unfortunately occurred in succession. Despite the dealer's efforts to fix each problem as it arises, new issues have continued to surface. The circuit board, air conditioning compressor, ignition switch, input and output speed sensors, upstream sensor, cam sensor (due to an oil leak), and gas tank have all required replacement. While this has been frustrating, I remain confident that a solution can be found.

I purchased this vehicle from a private owner, but unfortunately it caught fire and was irreparably damaged. Despite numerous attempts at repair, the cost ultimately amounted to $4k. Fortunately, no one was in the car at the time of the incident, as it occurred while parked at a grocery store.

Although my car had less than 40,000 miles on it, the transmission failed. Despite the dealership taking over two months to solve the problems that arose after the replacement, the car still does not run as smoothly as our Ford 6 cyl. Additionally, it only gets good, but not great gas mileage, and has a rough idle. In my experience, I would not choose to purchase another 4 cyl. vehicle.

This entry-level sedan is quite roomy and offers great gas mileage. However, the higher-output 2.4 liter engine may not be the best for merging onto the freeway and hills. The brakes could use some improvement and the headlights are poor, especially for country roads with a high probability of deer. If safety is a top priority for you, it's worth noting that anti-lock brakes were optional and many models do not have them. Additionally, the exterior materials are flimsy and airbags include only driver and front passenger front airbags. For the same price, a Jetta offers many more safety features. Overall, while I wouldn't necessarily recommend this car to someone I care about, it's still a decent option for those looking for a spacious and fuel-efficient sedan.

I have owned my Breeze since 1999, when it was brand new. Over the past five years, I have invested over $4000 in repairs, including a new head gasket, transmission repairs, and oil and transmission fluid leaks. It is important to ensure that all necessary repairs have been completed before purchasing a used Breeze, as this model typically requires significant maintenance within the first 90000 miles.
